A truly magnificent hotel! Stunning views, a cozy and elegant atmosphere, beautiful rooms, and an incredibly friendly and attentive staff.

We were booked into the Folgosa Hotel (***) but upgraded at the last minute to their ***** sister hotel QUINTA SÃO JOSÉ DO BARRILÁRIO.
This is a very new hotel completed in August 2024.

The view is mesmerizing! Location is great. 10-15mins drive to Regua which is quite a big town and the nearest railway station.

Great Quinta in the Dipro valley, outside of amarmar with an amazing staff, great breakfast and good rooms.
We had the last cabin and it was super romantic.

Lovely old palace that has been refurbished. Good size rooms, nice view and close to the Douro river.

A lovely winery in a spectacularly beautiful location. We tasted some really good ports and bought a bottle. You need to book for the full tasting experience, which we hadn't.

We spent a week in Portugal — and yes, Funchal took my breath away, Lisbon is a dynamic city with many facets, and I loved Sintra for its palaces and beaches.

I'd give 10 stars if I could. Wonderful hosts, delicious breakfast and wine. Perfect place to stay.

Wow. Words cannot describe how we feel there. Everything was so amazing. Swimming pool surrounded by wineyard, old stone building, nice rooms, breakfast with local fruits and wine.

The property is outstanding. Beautiful and comfortable and recently renovated. Ideal for families as it has a fantastic pool and outside area. The landlords are very friendly and helpful.

Want an experience in the middle of Duoro's vineyards? Then this is the right place. It is located in a remote town near the Duoro river.

We stayed here as a family, in the house that has three bedrooms. The rooms were large and comfortable. The house itself was like a museum with ample querky decor.

We booked our place via phone and the staff was very helpful giving us the best option for a family with baby.

Lovely location, surrounde by vineyards and fruit orchards, quiet and peaceful. The farm is charming, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable.

I spent a weekend at Casa de São Miguel in Armamar, and I can honestly give it a full 100% rating.

Went there for a weekend with some friends. It truly exceeded our expectations of a weekend getaway to chill and relax in Douro.

The place is amazing. Fantastic views from the balcony where we enjoyed dinner and breakfast. The owner was very attentive and even brought us a breakfast that wasn’t supposed to be included.

Loved the views from this location but as the hotel is built into the hillside, there are lots of steps. Not a good site for those with mobility issues. The rooms all have good views.

If you're looking for a very nice quiet hotel inside a real vineyard, Vila Galé Douro Vineyards is a great option. Good rooms, good attentive service, and stunning breathtaking views.

Farm stay allows us (tourists) to interact with the locals (hosts).

A very warm welcome and fantastic home cooked food and their wine is pretty fine too.
Jose and Annabella were great hosts and good company.
