Poor value for money, far from the expectations of a 3-star establishment. Aging facilities that deserve to be maintained with a deplorable lack of hygiene.

Great place as soon as we arrived we were upgraded to a villa. Brilliant no:58c it's right next to everything shop bar pool great. Had a lush steak. Staff are brilliant.

A nice holiday resort, nice and quiet location, friendly staff, houses are unfortunately often in need of renovation (e. G. Bathtub, stove, walls, washing machines defective). Have nevertheless recovered well, did a lot (hiking, drive to Seville and Ronda), spoiled "house cats" and maybe come back.

In February it is very sunny, lots of greenery and flowers. Very calm and friendly atmosphere. There are many possibilities for walking and cycling.

It's a nice place for holidays, specially with children. The internet is a disaster, network coverage is bad so there's only a open Wi-Fi hotspot in the reception.

A really good village, even with pretty cottages, a few steps from the train (included for guests) that leads to the beach Barril.

This is an amazing place for a family holiday. It's quite a peaceful, quiet place apart from one night when we could hear music from the live entertainment on site. There is an outdoor communal pool at which you can use the sunbeds for free if you have a train pass to get to the beach. In terms of the beach, it is a 15 minute walk or if you don't have a train pass, it's one Euro on the little oil train each way. There is a supermarket on site which is quite pricy but it's better than nothing. There is also a tourist sort of shop and two restaurants, one of which is like a cafe. The cafe type one, Nora, is reasonably priced, for example a burger with chips would be around €8-10. The other restaurant is slightly more expensive and has different meals, such as carbonara and fish dishes. Other than that, the site itself is very nice, with lots of greenery and flowers. The nearest village is Santa Luzia which is about twenty minutes down the road. I would recommend this resort to anybody who wants a nice, relaxing holiday :)

It has everything around it. Cozy and welcoming place. If you like cats then there are plenty of friendly cats around.

Super beautiful plant in the Portuguese Stiel. Gepflegt Park not far on the Ilha for relaxation and recuperation very suitable.

A last minute choice but a good stay. Small bungalows grouped in an attractive and well maintained grounds. The bungalows were basic but had everything we needed with a nice terrace overlooking a large green with some sea views. In the resort was a cafe, bar and restaurant as well as a pool, tennis court and shop. It could not have been handier for Barril beach. It was a 5 minute walk to the train connecting the beach island and train tickets were inclusive with our accomodation. It was an easy 5 minute drive into Tavira for dinner, or a half hour stroll to Santa Luiza. Good running path along the waterfront too. Enjoyed our stay. Would stay there again.

Normal. A little cozy very large complex. Independent cottages to spend several days. Not recommended for a night.

We are back for the second time and new excellent stay, very cosy cottage with everything you need, relax, quiet… Is something quite important that dogs allowed for free, we're happy to… back again. EXCELLENT value for money.

That august is this, everything very well, slightly old furnishings, the environment very well.

Getting better every year. Very calm and peaceful, lovely gardens and nice staff. The rooms were refurbished and the beds are very comfortable. It has air conditioned. Excelent place for children.

Room awful, old (70's or earlier), little functional, and it hurts so bad mattresses back. Without air conditioning, paying almost €110 for 2 persons with 40 degree day… Crowded, narrow streets for the car and hard to park. I do not recommend it. The beach isn't close.
