Great place to visit, very dog friendly, our third visit here and we will be back… Algarve Croquet club and Chamine Croquet Club are fully associated.

Well renovated but fake and empty place in the middle of solar panel fields and electrical cables. Kind of sordid experience even if the host (an employee apparently abandoned by the owners who don’t seem to live there) did her best to bring a minimum of service. Unfortunately she doesn’t really speak English we couldn’t communicate and explain our issues with the cold water and the bad smell in the room. It took 30minutes to do the check out because the card machine didn’t work. The owners decided to prioritize their passion, the Croquet (who cares about this activity? ) by creating a huge playground in front of the house, instead of building a nice pool (replaced by kind of bath tube behind a wall). My feeling is that the owner don’t care about their clients and the customer experience. I travel a lot and I am demanding when I pay more than 140€/night in Portugal. I don’t recommend this place too far from any interesting city/village and 1h from the sea. Don’t waste your holidays there, there are many other beautiful BnBs in this region. (Sobreiras, Imani, Casa Azimute…) Only one positive point: the breakfast was good but it is definitely not enough.
