The wonderful couple who own and manage this exquisite quinta make guests feel like beloved family. Nothing is too much trouble for them, they invest time, passion and generosity into every marvellous detail. Our spacious, tastefully furnished room was in fact a full apartment. I requested a vegan breakfast and was treated to a ten star spread, imaginatively and skilfully prepared. We were reluctant to leave this very special sanctuary so added an extra night which also allowed us to explore the area around Crato. The cork forests and the mysterious dolmen at Anta do Tapadão were absolute highlights of Portugal. Cannot recommend this magical venue highly enough. To the charming and distinguished Oswaldo and the irrepressibly lovable and energetic Manuella; thank you, you are giants amongst men, we appreciated your kind hospitality and we will never forget you.
We had a great time at Casa Do Crato. We were well taken care off and had a beautifull clean room. We loved the swimmingpool, all the fresh fruit growing around the house and surroundings. Nice food, nice, friendly and caring people who made us feel comfortable and at home! Maria and Osvaldo thank you very much! Big Hug from Holland, we hope to come back one day! xx.
