Perfect, except the WE where a population arrives a little-you-seen me and noisy. So even the piscion is forced to put on music. Very high-end breakfast.

Friendly and polite staff, exquisite food. Very central hotel, with parking space, spa and swimming pool. A good hotel to rest and go for a walk in the old town of the city.

Evora is a beautiful part of the world, and I was looking for a hotel to match this beauty for a one-night stay on my own. M'Ar De Ar Aqueduto fitted the bill. It is the ultimate in place to be in the city and I love this kind of hotel. The rooms are warm and comfortable, with modern design touches that really make it stand out against everything else available in Evora. I stayed in a classic room and this felt like that little lap of luxury for my stay. The view of the aqueduct was amazing and was the highlight of my trip. I think that everyone should stay in a room that affords this view, as it turns your room from somewhere you rest your head to a focal point of your stay in the town. The service in the hotel was excellent, as you would expect. The team really know how to look after guests and I found that I was wanting for nought with the way they helped me. With the hotel being at the heart of Evora, there is nothing that I would change about it. Recommended to everyone – you just may have to book early to secure a spot!

Very nice hotel in an historic setting. The pool is gorgeous. The rooms are comfortable. Free underground parking provided. The breakfast is as good as any hotel in Portugal offers. Well stocked bar. Haven't tried the restaurant but it's well reviewed and offers typical Portuguese cuisine. Staff friendly and helpful.

Spacious room and the bathroom spectacular. The gym and spa are modest, though enough to try the sauna and the Turkish bath. We were not able to enjoy the pool as it was closed and would feel like coming back in summer. Very clean Hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They cut off the water in the room, but as soon as we reported the problem we would provide a solution quickly. Very good location to walk around the city (the hotel's private parking is free) and the views to the aqueduct are very good.

This hotel is located next to the Roman aqueduct of Évora, just 1hour away from Lisbon. The hotel used to be a Palace and still keeps some of its characteristics but mixes them with modern design decor and architecture. When we arrived to the hotel the staff was really kind and explained everything about the hotel facilities. We've stayed in Classic Room in the lower floor with a direct access to the pool area, the room had a nice modern feeling and the bed was really comfortable, big and spacious and the bathroom had an open concept to the room that we really liked! This is definitely a good place to relax and disconnect from the big city caos! There's a big inside garden where you can only listen to birds and enjoy the sun at the room terrace or by the pool. Unfortunately we had no opportunity to try the hotel restaurant but next time we will be coming by for sure… In the morning we enjoyed a nicely prepared buffet breakfast and went for a nice walk through the city… it's very easy to walk everywhere from there. Before going we still enjoyed the sun with some good Nespresso coffee by the pool. We have to thank the staff for all the attention received and we hope to be back soon!

Beautiful hotel. Very modern.

The first room they gave us someone had smoked in. They were accomodating and gave us another room. The second room had mold at the bottom of the shower and the drain was plugged and they did not come to fix it. There were no Kleenex in room. For a boutique 5 star hotel this is not acceptable.

High ceilings, white walls, left alone if you want to be, parking on site. Perfect. Pool is nice. Gin and tonic was 7EUR.

A fantastic five star hotel that is the truth with more intervention that achieved towards the aqueduct. Rooms facing the garden are very nice and the bathroom modern.

Very nice hotel, great location. Room spacious and very modern with great service and underground parking. Downsides were only the bar and restaurant, find somewhere else. Very strange food and bar has no character at all.

We never want to leave. So quietly elegant. This hotel is next to the Roman Aqueduct, and the contrast between ancient history and almost flawless contemporary design is treated with such delicacy and respect.

Wonderful hotel to stay in Evora. Easy walking to city center, cool underground parking, nice swimming pool, great bedrooms, trendy decoration, nice staf…

Excellent hotel: very good service, nice rooms, design, nice pool, buffet breakfast very well stocked, etc. Do not hesitate if you want to spend the night in Évora.

This hotel, this "pension" if one believes the Portuguese term, has thirty rooms. We stayed in 2 rooms different at the beginning of November 2009.
The breakfast room is small (10 person max), but we did not have to worry about (growing hot beverage, bread, jam, butter, orange juice).
Rooms: bed, wardrobe, desk, air conditioning, channels of TV (TV5). Most have a bathroom and toilet.
The location is ideal. Near the center of the old quarter, and not far from the bus, old tram and metro stops.
The staff is friendly. Someone at the reception 24/24. And hospitality, the staff speak french (the boss is French if I understood).
Below the hotel is a restaurant, which sometimes organizes musical evenings… not very annoying and not all night, but good to know.
There is no Wifi in the hotel. It lacks because it is not very complicated to set up and it's a real plus.
There is a room (427) with a computer available, but AC was not working when I tested.
