Midtown Hostel Gdańsk Hostel

Great location, seven minutes walk from the train station and less than five minutes from the main town of Gdansk. Supermarkets and pubs are less than a minute away. Cleanliness is great and the people staying at the hostel were all friendly and mature. This is not a party hostel though. The staff are all very friendly and helpful and not afraid of chatting. Beds are a little hard and you have to make the bed yourself. Towel is not included but can be hired for 5 zloty but that seems to be the way it works in Polish hostels.

Very clean and light place. Close to everything you'd like to explore, also very close to the central station. You could easily cook a simple meal and eat in the common areas. Most importantly, the staff was very kind and helpfull. The place felt very safe, much thanks to them since they were there all the time during the day. I'd truely recommend this place.

Extremely kind and helpful staff at reception, the place is spotlessly clean and provides a feeling of safety for lone travelers.
Comfortable rooms, new modern furniture, spacious bathrooms, well equipped kitchen. Ideal place for a short or longer stay as everything is within walking distance.

I had a great stay. This is a superior hostel with a perfect team at reception. Excellent location on the edge of the main town, very close to Central railway station and airport bus stop. Couldn't have wanted better.

Location was perfect coming from the train station. Midtown Hostel is a small but clean and well designed place with 2 bathrooms and a kitchen. I stayed in a cozy 6 bed dorm room with sliding doors and they provided us lockers. Staffs were friendly and gave us recommendations and maps for things to do and eat in Gdańsk. Highly recommend!

Best hostel I've ever been to! Professional, friendly and helpful staff, willing to make your stay much nicer (especially thanks to Ola! ). Good location and price. Cosy and calm atmosphere. Though the rooms can be a little small, they have everything you need, the mattress are comfortable and the decoration is so nice and new that makes you feel at home. The bathrooms are great and so are the living room (which even has DVDs, television, books, magazines, CDs…) and the kitchen (equiped to cook and with free coffee and tea the whole day, and also milk and cereals for breakfast). Definitely recommeded.

The place is good, nice service, good kitchen, comfortable room, but hard to find and toilet is ABSOLUTELY NOT ENOUGH, so many people want to use! It is a pity that only two toilet in hostel.

I loved this place, a really chilled out and relaxed atmosphere. The interior and decor is done to a very high specification indeed and the whole place is immaculate. The location is fantastic — a very short walk to the train station and the old town. The staff were lovely without being over-bearing. Just a great place to stay. I would highly recommend it and shall certainly be going back there myself. Thank you.

Didn't intended to come here, I missed a bus to go to Berlin so I searched a cheapest hostel and happened to stay in this hostel. But Im rather surprised by the quality of this Hostel, everything is very clean and new, and Ive never seen a hostel providing this much free food! Not to mention kind staff. Way better than the hostel in old town which I stayed last 2 days, and way cheaper. Super satisfied, hope I can stay longer.

So far this is the best Gdansk hostel I've been to. Generally all of the hostels I've tried thrre were disgustingly dirty. This one is different — the room and the hostel overall was clean and also comfortable. The hostel service is well organised and the staff is really helpful. I enjoyed my stay :)

Nice hostel with good quality/price ratio.

We stayed here a couple of weeks ago. If you meet Zuza as the receptionist, she is extremely friendly and helpful. The location is perfect. The old town is right at your footsteps, and the train station is only a 10 minute walk. This hostel takes the cake for being the cleanest hostel I have ever stayed at. The interiors are new, and bright, and looks very modern. They offer a breakfast and there is a comfortable common area to rest and plan your things as you prepare to go out on the town.

This is one of the best hostels I've ever been :) pretty and helpful staff (especially Zuza and Sylwia — thank you for your positive attitude every day ;) Rooms, toilets and hall are very clean. The best thing is that it's very near by train station and the old town. I highly recommend :).

I spend in this hostel 3 nights and I can definetely say that is one of the best hostel I have ever stay. Atmosphere there is like at home and all staff make grate work to feel my stay comfortable. Rooms are not big but designed in professional style. Hostel is very clean what in my opinion is so important. Value for this price is so good as well. I hope to come back to this hostel soon. Super nice hostel, right in the centre of Gdańsk (5 min to the Train Station, 2 min to the Old Town). Very friendly and helpful staff, always willing to give tips and advices. Very clean. Nice, modern interior design. Feels very homy, cosy and chill ;) Definitely recommend.

Very well located, classy hostel in the center of Gdansk city. The best, helpful reception staff, especialy Peter! We have had nice stay in a comfortable Double Comfort room. Highly recommended with low prices. If you are visiting Gdansk, you should stay in the best Midtown Hostel.
