Reviews of Planet Hostel
I stayed at Planet Hostel in an appartement with bedroom and couch. The room was clean and very nicely equipped. Everything was brandnew. We had a kitchenette with coffeemaker, kettle, stove, dishwasher and fridge. In the bathroom was even a small washing machine!
As we stayed only 3 nights we didn't need that one :-)
Our host was extraordinary nice, he even showed us personally to the appartment building which is a bit away from the hostel check in. I must say that we were …a group of 13 women and therefore needed several appartments and double rooms.
The location is perfect — Tram stop right before the hostel and very close to the city center. There's a 24h open tiny store next to the hostel as well as a shopping center.
I would definitely stay here again!
This incidentally happens to be my first ever hostel stay and I really never expected a hostel stay would be like this. So, as far as hostels are concerned, this seems to be very good. The location is fine, it is right next to the tram station Plac Unii lubelskiej. However, the name plate indicating the hostel is very small and difficult to locate. Once you enter, you find an old building and a watchman. You need to take stairs up to first level and then through the door to find the reception. Receptionists are quite quick in service. The hostel operates round the clock allowing check-in and check-out and that is a big benefit considering that you might reach there very late in the night or even early morning. Payment is to be settled at the time of check in. There are about 16 different rooms. Some apparently are single rooms, but most others are with bunker beds. I was in a room with six beds. The rooms are mostly mixed sex type and not gender specific. Each need also has a locker in the room which uses the same electronic card as the key. Beds were made well with clean bed sheets, a pillow with cover, duvet and duvet cover. Light sleepers might want to avoid hostels in general ;) and so could snorers ;P. Beds were comfortable and my roommates were also fairly cooperative. Towels are not provided hence makes sense to carry one. There is some liquid hand wash available in the bathroom. CaseyKitchen offers breakfast options included in the rent.

5 Stars I stayed at Planet Hostel for 24 days! I have not had as great experience as I had at this place,, I really can't mention what were the good things as every single thing was just perfect,, very clean very organized, tidy and closed to everything,, staff were extremely helpful and friendly especially Michael! Planet Hostel would always be the best recommended place for any one who visits Warszawa.
