I was supposed to travel to Wroclaw on 22nd of March but because of the coronavirus we was unable to do. I paid 950zl for a service that I didn’t use and that I cancel with the hotel with 1 week time. They don’t refund me my money. They are trying to give me a voucher to use until July. We don’t even know how the world gonna be until there. Such a shame that a 5star hotel is taking advantage of a situation like this.

Me and my boyfriend stayed in this hotel last week. We stayed for two nights Thursday and Friday. The hotel failed my expectations as the hot tub was absolutely cold, in fact the pool itself was warmer than the jacuzzi. One of the saunas was not working and if gym is important to you I would definitely pick a different hotel as the gym was tiny and lacking heavier equipment which can be understandable as of course they can’t have everything. Our bedroom was very dark and the same with bathroom, we had to put all lights on at evening time. The TV was not working which is not acceptable for a 5 star hotel but thankfully this was not a big factor of our stay so we did not care. The staff did not look too happy during our stay but that could be due to fact it was not so busy in Poland that week. We also had an issue with our payment so if you’re looking to pay don’t use a debit card. I asked the hotel to prepare rose petals for our room as it was my boyfriends birthday and our anniversary which they did do and they prepared it lovely so that was a plus but overall for the price of the hotel the value was not great.

Great location and excellent staff.

Amazing spa. Unfortunately during the weekend people think it is Aquapark and feel allowed to dive and play with the ball in the swimming pool. Difficult to chill.

Excelente place, located in the roof of the city center. Beautiful views. You can enjoy the sunset. Highly recommendable.

Great rooms and quality of service!

Rooftop bar is excellent! Room is spacious and good interior decorated with apparently old bricks on the wall. Very reseanoble charge considering great condition and services.

I stayed in the Master Apartment and my brother stayed in Deluxe Apartment next door. We had my Mom and 3 kids between us. We stayed for 6 days. The kids had a blast especially the bathtub and bathroom. I loved the spaciousness of the apartment and how much room there was to breathe. It was very beautiful.
Breakfasts were superb, everything was there. We ate dinner twice in the restaurant and used the rooftop for coffee and the coffee/bar room downstairs. I, my Mom-who got married in the “old” Monopol, my brother and his kids loved staying here.
Most of all, the most important thing that made our stay excellent and one of a kind, were the people working in the hotel. They were courteous, very well trained, friendly with smiles on their faces, very helpful and the housekeepers were perfect. I congratulate the management. I have stayed in hundreds of hotels as a doctor and President of my group and my brother as a doctor too, and this one I wish I could just keep on staying. Thank you.

Beautiful, big rooms. Luxury view from the window!

I had the opportunity to stay at the Monopol for two night while on a business trip. I find this hotel has a really good value for money, offering luxury at prices which would be standard for a 3-star hotel, when exchange rate taken into account. I found the room to be spacious and very comfortable, but what stole the show for me was the absolutely perfect service. All the staff members went out of their way to help with any issues, including parking the car! Their willingness to help with a smile definitely stole the show for me. Location-wise, the Monopol is a stone's throw away from the historical market square, and within walking distance of a lot of attractions and amenities. On-street parking is limited but there is secure parking just across the road. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will be looking to stay in this again if I return to Wroclaw for business or pleasure!

Great hotel. A historic building. Great facilities. I liked both the dry and wet sauna. Jacuzzi and swimming pool are also nice. Prices of these are inbuilt in the room tariff. Room fixture and furnishing are all new, modern. I had a cultural shock to see that there is no door for toilet. I loved the fruit basket at the reception.

Summer terrace on rooftop is awful — unless you like to pay 45 zloty (10 euro) for 1 Aperol Spritz, which contains no Aperol :) ) ) ) believe me view from that roof is not worth it) )

Good 5-star hotel, friendly atmosphere, rooms very clean, perfect location on the edge of the Old town opposite the opera. Large rooms/suites. 1 point deduction for the spa area. The spa is okay but could be better (ventilation, comfortable and adequate chairs missing, sauna/steam room were not reliably switched on).

Lovely hotel with friendly and accommodating staff. I liked the room I had very much but there is no peep hole to see whom is knocking at the door.

Very Traditionellles House. Well appointed rooms with nice bathroom. The breakfast is very plentiful, we loved it.

Super Hotel at extremely good price. Top spa, large spacious rooms and 1a staff. One of the best and most extensive breakfast buffets we have experienced so far. Parking right outside the door, location perfect at the end of the pedestrian area, 5 minutes to the city center. Absolutely recommended!

Great historic hotel located right in the center of Wrocław. Modern stylish rooms. Excellent service. Nice wellness area. 2 fine dining restaurants of which one is rooftop with splendid view over the old town and especially the national music forum.

Highly recommend the spa. Gifted the Mrs. A spa day and she loved it. Gave me plenty of time to explore the well stocked bar and their whiskey collection.

Ouuuu this hotel… Unfortunately I stayed just one night but I must say I will come back. I had room with unforgettable panoramic view — even from the bathroom. The room was clean, huge and very comfortable. And the spa… Beautiful and great choice of massages which wasnt really expensive. Location amazing.

Nice rooms and people. Breakfast is good too. Only downside is the have perfume pots in the rooms that are a but strong. The location is fantadtic, walking distance to anyplace around town square.

Nice, clean, swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi. But they tried to charge me twice for the same room. And asked for my card number that is against any rules…

Great hotel in a building of a wonderful architecture. Top service, all comforts available. Definitely a chic place at the heart of Wroclaw making sightseeing (and shopping if necessary) easy. Spa, bar, resto, breakfasts available of superb quality. Luggage storage available. Spacious rooms. Very nice place to stay in and visit.

Stately place immense rooms… all comfort and a lot of courtesy.

Staying here now; friendly and fresh staff, fantastic breakfast spread — props to the chef and coffee barista, they know their stuff… and sparkling clean rooms. Here with my baby for the week, and she is the only child under 15 I have seen thus far in our stay. That doesn't deter the hotel folk from fawning over her, or arranging a special fruit platter for our little birthday girl. There is a well loved and clean pack and play for baby's sleep, as well as a high chair during breakfast. Breakfast is varied, and has plenty of hard nibbling veggies for the teething child or paleo mama.

Really spacious and comfortable. Parking next door. Nice roof terrace. Staff a bit inexperienced, but overall top line for the price. In theory good selection of wines, but they did not have them… Which lowers the rating.

Perhaps the best facility in Wroclaw!

The Monopol is a lovely old hotel, renovated nicely and with very helpful staff. On this trip I arrived very late (around midnight) and discovered that the roof of my room had leaked, the reception staff immediately arranged a new room and helped me move my luggage. The breakfast buffet is excellent, with a a good selection of hot and cold items as well as eggs to order. One thing that some people might not like is the design of the rooms. For such an old building they're very modern, with lots of concrete and dark wood. I had no complaints though, everything works as it should and I slept very well.

We only had a meal at their main restaurant the other day for my partners birthday. Great food, wonderful service, excellent interior. Can't recommend enough!

Very nice hotel, good spa, only problem we had was the night there was a lot of noise in the superior room, and they only apologized and said they can change us to a worse room.

Very pleasant, clean and close to city centre.

Great location — all sights in near walking distance. Hotel is recently refurbished and rooms are modern though miss a few details — a kettle for some tea and a shower head would be nice. The spa area is amazing — if you have time, visit the amazing rooftop.

Nikt (kogo spotkałem) nie ma tam pojęcia co oznacza świadczenie dobrych usług dla klienta. Chcesz poczuć się jak w zajeździe przy drodze powiatowej na Berdyczów, to miejsce dla Ciebie. Atrakcyjny jest taras na dachu — możesz z niego skorzystać bez spania tam.

It is in a great location and the hotel is beautiful, but I'm giving it only a 4 star rating. I was there for 2 weeks and after a few days asked to be changed to a standard room since the one I was in only had this horrible shower with no door, the standard room has a wonderful Jacuzzi bathtub. The woman at the counter was quite rude about it, basically told me to book a standard room the next time I come back to the hotel. I waited until a day later when someone else was on duty and they were great about it and I loved my new room. If you are traveling with someone, you might not care for the glass wall between the bathroom and bedroom, no privacy at all. Also, if you like washcloths bring your own, they don't provide. And best bring a regular bar of soap, they provide only a tiny one. The rest of the experience was great, do try the Acquario restaurant, absolutely fabulous.

Great services and friendly staff. Will be back for sure and won't go to any other spa when I'm back visiting Wroclaw.
