Mark1 in Q&A

Information is provided based on reviews and may contain inaccuracies.

Where is Mark1 located and what is nearby?

The hotel is conveniently located near a shopping center, a convenience store, a Rossmann pharmacy, and cafes. A 24-hour McDonald's restaurant is just a few steps away. However, the property is situated next to a busy road, which means some traffic noise may be audible in the rooms.

Does the hotel have parking?

Complimentary parking is provided for guests.

What is the check-in process and staff service like?

Mark1 features an automated, ticketless check-in system via an intuitive electronic kiosk. Guests receive an SMS with a door and kiosk code, allowing them to pay for their stay by card, collect their key card, and print out their receipt. The staff are described as very polite, pleasant, and helpful. For instance, staff promptly replaced the entire shower assembly after being notified of a broken mount.

What kind of breakfasts are offered at the hotel?

Breakfasts are typically included in the room rate and are served as a buffet from 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM. Most guests rate them as delicious, varied, and of high quality. However, there are some negative reviews: one guest described the buffet as very sparse and consisting of leftovers from an event.

Does the hotel have a restaurant and what cuisine is served?

The hotel features a decent on-site restaurant serving hot dishes, open until 9:00 PM. Guests particularly highlight the excellent żurek (traditional soup) and delicious main courses.

Is drinking water and a tea set provided in the rooms?

There are no kettles in the rooms. Guests have to ask the staff for hot water, and one review noted that the supply of boiling water was insufficient for a large group.

How stable is the Wi-Fi at the hotel?

Stable Wi-Fi is available in the rooms, ensuring a comfortable stay.

What is the quality of the rooms, beds, and overall cleanliness?

The rooms are described as large, spacious, very clean, and well-maintained, with a fresh feel throughout. In most cases, guests are satisfied with the amenities, including the air conditioning and refrigerator. However, complaints were recorded regarding a sagging mattress, low-quality pillows, and cold radiators in December.

How does the ventilation and air conditioning system work?

The rooms are equipped with functioning air conditioning units. When the windows are closed and the air conditioning is on, the noise from the nearby busy road ceases to be an issue.
