Lovely rooms and well looked after. Hotel bar… we stopped off for a drink after a long day out and all I can say is Barman less than half my age made me feel like I was too poor to be there. He opened a bottle of red wine, poured a drop for me to taste, poured another drop when I had and left bottle on bar and disappeared for ages. I thought I’d ordered bottle so poured a little more into my glass. He came back as I poured and told me I’d have to pay for it and then held bottle up to light to scrutinise how much I’d poured! Don’t treat paying customers like scum! Was three times more expensive than Krakow bars but thought we’d experience it. Hotel great, rooms good but need air con that works, hotel bar… snobs! Rather spend my money in local bars and feel like a valued customer.

Great location! Very nice staff! Clean and roomy. Comfortable beds. I was touched so much by finding bunch of balloons in my room on my birthday! What a wonderful gesture! It made my day! I would highly recommend this hotel!

Such a nice hotel in the center of Krakow with exquisite meals and wine served on — again — exquisite China and wine glases if you also are fond of eating with your eyes. We loved the staff even if their English was mediocre.

Fantastic hotel very old and is the first hotel built in Poland. A beautiful building, only the first floor is the original building wall to wall marble. I would definitely highly recommend this hotel. X.

It's a decidedly vintage property that enjoys its proximity to Krakow's old town. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It has free restaurant and Wi-Fi.

Pod Różą is one of those places in Poland that has real history and gravitas. Amarone lives up to that reputation. I wish we had have taken some photos! Just delicious and great service.

Much prefer the sister-hotel ' Stary Hotel'. Pod Rosa is more like a 3 star at best, whilst Hotel Stary is like a 10 star. We popped into The Pod Rosa to enquire about having a wedding there, the doorman was very grumpy and never acknowledged us even though we were there a while, he never smiled either, yet their job is to welcome guests, especially as the receptionist was busy. The hotel looks okay, but much prefer The Stary.

The food was sublime and the restaurant staff attentive and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this to food lovers. Also the dining room was beautifully decorated.

I would have given 6 stars if I could. Very nicely furnished, with high quality amenities, centrally located — everything you would expect from a great hotel. Additionally, I made some mistakes on my booking, so I called the hotel multiple times before arriving Kraków. The staff were not only helpful, they were so accommodating and sweet that they even prepared my room card and handed it to me right when I stepped into the hotel (partly because I was probably the only Asian there! ) Shows how much they care about their guests!

Oldest & nicest hotel that is probably the closest hotel to the main square.

The staff was at the beginning very helpful but at the end when we wanted to pay it went downhill. The person who took our order was kind of screaming at us because we wanted to pay separation and with different pay methods, which we told her that we should when we asked.

Amazing hotel. We had a large room with 2 separate bathrooms both with heated floors. Friendly staff. Excellent location 2 minutes walk from the main square. Book bed and breakfast because the breakfast omelettes are delicious!

This is a beautiful hotel, access to all main attractions is very easy from here, just 100 yards from Market Square it's a very class hotel.

This is a wonderful place to stay. Extremely well-appointed rooms. Gorgeous marble bathrooms with Jacuzzi and delightful sounds of the activity on the street below. Excellent location. The restaurant in this place is not to be missed. The breakfast is absolutely the best breakfast I had during my 2 month, 10 country Scandinavian-Baltics motorcycle journey in summer of 2016. Matter of fact, this was the finest hotel of the entire trip. Love, love, love Hotel Pod Róza.

One of the best hotels in Krakow, situated in an old palace. It is right in the centre of the old town and very convenient for all of the sites. The rooms are spacious and well equipped.

A dated but style Hotel in the pedestrian street at 200 meters from Krakow's main square, kindness and professionalism contribute to good judgement.

Good food and friendly staff in the restaurant there. Nice interior with glass roof. Lunch there is a pleasure. Often piano music is organized.

Elegant hotel with some fatal flaws. It is right in the heart of the old city centre and you hear street noise all night. Basic bathroom with inadequate storage, towel bars, hooks. Average breakfast.
