Poor service all round. Nothing to recommend it.

Beautiful hotel in a great location overlooking the square. Lovely warm welcome when we arrived. Staff are very helpful and nothing is too much trouble. Only been here for a few hours but I would definitely recommend it.

What a lovely gem! Historical building in excellent location and wonderful service. I was very pleased with the beautiful room with view of the main plaza in Old town Krakow. Also Gregory in the front desk was helpful with suggestions on tours and things to do in the area. I will definitely stay there again.

It's a nice hotel. Located in the heart of it, that's why it's very noisy. Tomorrow at 3.

We just returned from a stay at the Wentzl Hotel and it was better than we expected. The view from our room appointed with antiques and oriental carpeting overlooked the main square and was literally steps from Baroque concerts, cafes and all the dining options you could hope for. What made the Wenzl even better was the exemplary service provided by the staff. Truly a pleasure to meet and greet each and every one of them. Will we return? Absolutely. Luxury hotel in the heart of old town. Very well designed bedrooms with comfortable bed. Wonderful views to the amazing old town architecture. A Girlfriend-visits friendly hotel. Lovely cartoon alike surroundings. Many restaurants and bars around. This place has it's flair in all 4 seasons of the year — something to be appreciated and long remembered.

Friendly hotel, good amenities and excellent view of the market square from our room — very good central location. Nice and warm despite — 9° outside. Hotel restaurant was fine dining with excellent service. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice hotel in the old town area with a great view to the central square. There are lots of good restaurants in a walking distance. Breakfast in the hotel restaurant was not really good, so I recommend to have it somewhere else. Stuff was friendly and helpful. Room was cozy and clean.

Excellent Location The staff is very friendly and good advice. The best plate that can be found deserves to be classified in Gault and Millau. The setting is sublime, excellent cognac, a beautiful discovery in Krakow.

If you are a light sleeper run the other way! You can hear people closing doors, music, TVs, footsteps, etc. I couldn't sleep with an Ambien and my white niose app on the night stand next to my head. The vibrations travel through the walls and floor. I was on the second floor and could hear the people above me walking around. It was horrible! Breakfast and location was good.

The hotel is in a great location. Our room overlooked Market Square… it was fun to open the window and watch the 'goings on'. It was not large, but it served our needs and was nicely appointed. Our room had it's own Fujitsu air conditioning unit which was fantastic. When we were there in mid-August, the outside temperatures were around 100, but our room was set to 70 and heavenly when we returned after long days of sight seeing. Breakfast was good and the breakfast restaurant staff was nice. Other than breakfast, we did not eat at the hotel. The place always seemed dark because they have the hallway lights set to a motion detector. There is no light coming in from the outside as all the windows are in the hotel rooms. So, you walk into a dark hallway as it takes a few moments for the lights to come on. Our biggest problem with this hotel was the car service with which the hotel is aligned. Our travel agent set up our airport transfers and the fee was supposed to be included on our hotel bill. Also, you should know that the man who met us at the airport who had the sign, poorly hand printed I might add, with our name was wearing a t-shirt and jeans. Our driver had a collared shirty but jean shorts. We were surprised that they were not more formally dressed as all other private drivers we have used so far from multiple hotels have all had white shirts, black tie, black pants and a nice car.

Wonderful service, fabulous location, comfortable rooms, good price, delicious breakfast, walking distance to most city attractions. Would stay there again. Loved it!

Amazing location, you can see the main square from every room. Rooms are wonderfully decorated, although some of the you may define a bit old fashion. Staff is nice and supportive.

Very nice small hotel. Most rooms have an incredible view to the market square, but not all. If the view is important for you, ask for it during the booking already. Even if you are not interested in the view, the location of the hotel is terrific! It's right in the center of the town. All good restaurants and nightlife is near it. The hotel also provides excellent parking service, so if you arrive by car, they take care of it. Most of the rooms are fantastic with stylish furniture and art. All in all a very nice and cosy hotel.

Wonderful Place. Very kind employees. To the people who rated 1 star. Yes. Some people don't agree with the new polish nationalism and lowering of democratic standards. But that has nothing to do with the quality of the hotel.

I can't recommend this Restaurant. In Krakow, many of the better Restaurants are.

The hotel & restaurant made it to the national news after the owner has spilled her simpletonish opinions about the guests dining there in the social media. The guests happened to be Polish President and US senators. After this made it to the news, the internet public dug out the fact that one of the owners is supposedly a sought after criminalist with ties to the Pruszkow mafia. Avoid if you value your privacy and care about who you dine at.

I don't recommend this place. Your privacy is not respected thete. The owner is rude and does not have any class. Disappoined. There are many other nice places in Krakow. Avoid that expensive, but nasty hotel.

The owner of the hotel insulted her guests. Lack of culture and basic standards, it was very terrible. I do not recommend.

The worst hotel/restaurant I have ever been to. The owner is so rude, rooms are dirty, food is just like trash. Don't go there.

Disrespectful about the guest! Day after the President of the Republic had a dinner at Wentzl the co-owner of the hotel mrs Jatarzyna Kukiela published on FB very disrespectful and rude opinion about his presidency. Don't think is good practice to make political comments about the guests and especially about VIPs.

Owners do not respect their guests. They will gladly take your money for stay but then co-owner will write several negative posts on social media about you. There is many more respectable hotels in that area.

Amazing location for a hotel, the city center is literally right at your doorstep.

Unfortunately you can't give separate ratings for service, atmosphere etc. The place, service and presentation were all impeccable and deserve real 5*. Unfortunately the kitchen doesn't stand up to the high standard. Out of 4 dishes (2 starters and 2 main course) only one (beef tartare) was really good, with the rest being merely ok. Thus I don't understand why Wentzl is recommended by Michelin.

I've only been to the restaurant here (not the Italian downstairs). The main dining room upstairs is plush and inviting with friendly helpful waiters. The food is excellent an exquisite infusion of traditional polish cuisine and other European influences. The interior is immaculate and presentation of food and service exceptional, I dined here twice and each time has been a real experience, and much more reasonably priced than its presentation may suggest. Who would expect anything less from the marvellous Magda Gessler.

Right in the heart of tourist market square. I wondered if it would be overpriced but no. A friendly restaurant with excellent food and service.

Fabulous hotel in fabulous location. In magnificent 15th century residence in main square. Staff are lovely really helpful cant do enough for you. Hotel sheer luxury every room is "themed" and different, and hotel is spotless. Food is also superb. I for one will definately be going back to this hotel.
