Just got back from staying in the Hotel Maksymillian 3nights, would definitely recommend was brilliant location for the Square the Christmas market about 10minutes walk, the hotel was spotless, the staff very friendly and helpful, the variety for breakfast was fabulous, would definitely stay here again, thank you for the coffee and bottles of water in the room very much appreciated.

I would highly recommend Hotel Maksymilian. We have traveled with our 11 year old autistic daughter and after making a reservation I have asked for a quiet room if at all possible. It was very nice to see the Hotel respond almost right away reassuring me that the room we have actually reserved is a quiet one with windows towards the courtyard. Lovely Lady has greeted us with a smile and was very helpful when we arrived. Room sparkly clean with plenty of space and 1.5 bath. We have had a suite which also had two actual rooms. Very friendly Staff — beginning with the reception, including housekeeping staff as well as Staff at the breakfast buffet, which also had plenty of choices. Even for my young very picky eater.
Hotel itself is located in an old building right in the center of Krakow. Along the way toward Marketplace are plenty of places to eat to chose from. We haven't tried the Hotel's restaurant so cannot attest to it but we looked at the menu and it also had plenty of good-sounding dishes to chose from.
I am hoping to be back in Krakow in the future and if possible — stay this particular Hotel again.

Just arrived back home after spending 3 nights in this fantastic hotel. I never leave reviews on sites due to me being a little lazy but I think that this place was so good that It deserves sharing. The hotel is ideally situated for the square and is a fantastic place for first time visitors to Krakow as we were. Breakfast was very good and we also had a sitting area in our room which we didnt really use but made the room very spacious. The receptionist was most helpful today by taking our cases and leaving them secure behind the counter as we weren't flying until the evening. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will certainly use it again when we return to the wonderful Krakow. Thank you.

Just came home from Krakow after a trip with Vitus rejser,
we liked the hotel a lot, very central, rooms and beds are very good.
A very good base for visiting Krakow.

Close to tourist attractions. Excellent hospitality, excellent breakfast. Rooms were a little bit smaller than depicted in the photos, some rooms didn't have a safe and some a fridge. However this was compensated by the positives I mentioned first. Will definitely be staying there for my next trip.

Just returned from a week here, first time in 'wondrous Krakow' arrived late, nice & friendly greeting from the Reception Staff, through easy on the eye Courtyard. Checked out our Double Room and immediate enviroment, our rule of thumb "if it's clean and functional, will do" proved to be, first impression, Massive Bed, and yes, it looked a tad tired and will need a spruce up imminently, but, hey, not that many 3* places of this age offer Air Con and a decent Fridge (both needed) a Safe, all in a decent City position. The Bathroom was a pleasant roomy suprise, bar the Shower Heads which were in need of maintenance, failed to mention this, sorry! But it worked, and the temperature never dropped. Towels always readily changed with the 'thourough' Daily Clean and Bottled Water topped up… Our Son (here for a Polish Wedding, we're here for support! ) had booked a Single Room which proved to be a Twin, was sheer delight. Arriving late (approx 21:30) the Restaurant and Bar had shut, unfortunate dilemma, but, their was plenty of choices open within a few hundred yards of the Hotel. Being on the 4th Floor, overlooking the road, you will get typical noise, the 'thunder' of the Trams was pretty special though, "shut the windows, let the double glazing and air con do their jobs" you'll get used to it! Therapeutic eventually… Breakfast; 07:00-10:30, loads of time to make the "generous" Hot & Cold Buffet on offer. Food regularly checked and turned over.

A fantastic hotel — not far from the old town centre, great rooms, good food and lovely helpful and friendly staff Would definitely stay here again.

Room was a bit small, but it was clean and comfy, good en suite with plenty of hot water. Good breakfast with plenty to choose from.

Stayed here for four nights. The only positive thing I can say is that the level of cleanliness was perfect. Beds were wooden boxes with a mattress on top, two single beds and the breakfast left a lot to be desired. Definitely don't recommend anyone to stay here.

The location is excellent and the staff is very friendly. The hotel is quite clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. On one of floors render services of massage, aroma of aromatic oils makes stay in hotel more than 30 minutes dangerous.

Great hotel 10 mins walk to Krakow centre clean but small room but fine for three nights only thing shelf over sink meant you banged your head every time you used sink and shower was small. Skinny People only. Restaurant in hotel was great and unbelievable value for money breakfast was ok nice layout little rooms and bar's every. Overall great.

Absolutely brilliant location, about a 10 minute walk to the square, literally straight down the road! There is also a tram stop beside the hotel that’s really handy! The staff in the hotel are friendly! There was one girl in particular who was just lovely and I didn’t get her name. We went and had a massage after a long day sight seeing, it was brilliant — highly recommended. My room was small but big enough for 2. Was spotless and had water and tea facilities. We booked our tours At the reception and the staff where very helpful. Would definitely come back here.

Hotel had a great location, about a 5 minute walk to the market square. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean but quite basic, our double bed was two single beds pushed together with single duvets. My main criticism is the walls are quite thin and you could hear the domestic staff talking quite loudly early in the morning. The breakfast is not great, the food is very basic with a small choice. Overall though I enjoyed my stay here, particularly would recommend it based on location.

The room was very simple but not objectionable, very clean. Service is efficient but certainly not 'service with a smile'. The location is very good for walking to the old town or even Kasimierz. Breakfast is fine, but if you are not a fan of the meaty Polish breakfast you will not find many options.

Lovely stay, staff are very friendly and the majority speak multiple languages, complinentary drink is top too. The rooms are well laid out and very comfortable. The hotel is a short walk from the town square and staff are happy to book tours and taxis for you. Would highly recomend.

Good hotel. Good price. Good location. Breakfast good. Wifi good but not for streaming. Receptionist is polite. Streetside is noisy with Traffic and trams. The patio mainly used by loudly smokers.

This is my second time staying in this hotel and I cannot recommend it enough! It is in a great location just 5 minutes walk from Main Market Square. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming especially the lovely team of ladies on Reception who are very helpful and can never do enough for you. Prior to our visit they were very helpful in arranging transport to and from trips for us and very prompt in replying to messages. The rooms are clean and warm with adequate space and tea & coffee making facilities. The breakfast selection is good with a varied hot and cold options. Bar and restaurant prices are cheap considering the location. For the price you pay you are getting more than enough for your money. Looking forward to our third visit next year!

The free breakfast varied daily which was nice. The room was clean, as was the rest of the hotel. Staff were mostly pleasant, although we were questioned when we asked for towels, which were forgotten by housekeeping. Very good location — short walk into the old town.

Great hotel. Clean and comfortable room. Breakfast was OK. The breakfast room is a bit cramped. A croissant would have been good as we aren't too keen on the heavy bread. We ate in the restaurant and the food, prices and staff were great. Only a 10minute walk up to the main square. Definitely recommend it.!

Stayed for 4 nights last week. Perfect location for sightseeing independently. Literally just a 5 minute walk down the road to Main Market Square. Lovely clean quiet room overlooking the courtyard. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast consisted of a variety of contiental options both hot and cold some of which changed daily. Even had room service which was inexpensive and portions sizes are very generous. Would highly recommend and would willing stay there again!

5 of us stopped here from 7th to the 11th March and would recommend this hotel as its well situated for sightseeing and spotlessly clean. Breakfasts were good with something for everyone and we had a lunch and one evening meal in the restaurant which were also good. Only down side was that while there were 5 of us we had 3 rooms two of the rooms were big enough to have a dance in and the other was so small two couldn't be at the same side of the room at the same time. I would have thought that as we were travelling together we would all have been given rooms of a similar size. Had we all been given small rooms we wouldn't have know any difference but to give two large and one small was not a good idea. Would I stay here again yes but would ask in advance for one of the bigger rooms.

I have just returned from a 3 night stay in the Maksymillan Hotel Krakow and would recommend this hotel. I was very pleased and relieved at the standard of the room, breakfast and staff. I had a single room overlooking the courtyard and although it was next to the lift I did not find this noisy. The room was clean and warm but this could have been a problem for some as I could not see a temperature control in the room. There was a wide, if somewhat unusual, selection of hot and cold food for breakfast, and a great cup of coffee. Staff were very friendly and helpful and it is only a short walk to main square. Great all round value.

“Chic hotel in the heart of Krakow” Best choice! Simply elegant hotel in the heart of Krakow, with excellent value for money, although what could be better? Clean, comfortable, large rooms (3-ka). Constantly clean, the rooms fresh. Breakfast is just great, nutritious, a good choice. Bonuses: the room had a free safe, every day put a bottle of water and tea and coffee making facilities.

Great location and nice exterior and interior. Close to good restaurants/fast food and grocery (some open 24/7). Overall nice and helpful staff. If I go back to Krąków (”when” I do) I will most likely stay here again.

Staying here at the moment. A surprisingly good experience, nice rooms, clean, warm, good breakfasts and helpful staff. I would come back again.
