Stevrena Accommodations

A very nice place to stay. Located in a quiet neighborhood but not far from beach and MJ square. The owner is super friendly and nice. Worth the price and the amenities that you get.

We booked for a double room, but when we arrived what we booked for was already full. So we ended up in a really tiny room, on the road, it was really hot and not calm.
The last night of our stay they gave us the room we booked. This one was nice. I wish we would have had what we booked for for the entire stay, because the first nights downstairs were horrible.

Stayed in Stevrena for 9 days. The area is clean and quiet. Three mins or four mins away from MJ Square a place where you have lots of choices where to eat. The bed is clean but the bathroom is so and so. We had to fixed the bidet by our own with vinegar because it wasn't working well. The kitchen is kind of dirty because everything is oily to touch and I recommend you guys to bring or buy your own sponge. 100 pesos for the kitchen if you want to use it.

The room is small but okay. Clean. The toilets not the cleanest and the shower is cold. Free refillable water and coffee/tea. Small kitchen available. We tried to rent a scooter but they didn't have helmets for us and the motorbike was not in the best conditions… (We've rented bikes everywhere in Asia…)

Place is inexpensive, you get what you pay for. The Wi-Fi worked well and bathrooms are relatively clean. I had a great time exploring the island and this was a good cheap homebase for biking around.
I got the fan room at a discount, around 9USD a night. It's at the 2nd floor of the main house. The floor alone holds about 5 rooms with 2 bathrooms to share for everyone in the floor. They have bidets, but no hot shower.
The room isn't the most comfy, especially in dry/humid warm nights. Even with the window open it's still pretty warm. If you're sensitive to temperature, better get the AC room. Room is bare with only a bed and a chair. The elex plug is quite far from the bed so that's where the chair comes in.
Location is ok. Very bikeable to the beach and even to the ruins. Walking to MJ Square takes about 20 mins. They rent out motorbikes at 300 PHP per day. Which is very much worth it if you want to see the whole island. I would say 2 days is enough. Bicycles are at 150 PHP.

Me and my brother stayed there. Ate Rena and her staff are very accommodating! Will surely go back with my friends this April and will stay there again! Feel at home. 5/5

The owner and staff are very accommodating and they also provide complimentary hot water and coffee. The rooms are spacious enough to accommodate a group e. G friends or family and also the comfort room is clean.

I had a great time staying there. The place was nice and clean. It is located just a few minutes from Sta. Fe port beside the road. The rates are affordable, really good for backpackers. The people are accommodating and friendly and took good care of their guests. I was one of those who got stranded because of the super typhoon and the owner was good enough to give me a discount for my 2 days extension. They also made sure to give us updates about the trip going back to Cebu.

We book for a backpackers room but glad that Ate gave us one of the private cottages to be discounted so that we can have our privacy. Our 3days was lit ❣️ So happy for the services and also they let us rent their motorbike w/ discount again and again Hahahahaha. Ate was so kind ❣️

The place could offer a home-like feel while having a vacation in the island. The place is in a strategic location as the restaurants, cafes and the beaches are just at a walking distance. Staying at Stevrena's will not cost you a lot and the owner as well as the staff are quite friendly and kind.
