We had a very awesome holiday in this resort. Staff are very accomodating and they treat us same as foreign guest despite the negative reviews on how they treat local guest. On our Experience it was great and kids loves it. Definitely we will be back again.

SALT & SKY RD BAR — — — — amazing!
I visited Solea last 2015 when there’s nothing but a plain pool and a beach BUT when I recently visited last May 2019, the resort improved a lot. I’m in awe. They just expanded beautifully with a huge pool, much more better customer service, and their Salt and Sky Bar+the bartender show.
If you have a fascination with views, sunsets, moon, the beach or you feel relaxed whenever you see a whole place (you can see the Cordova/Marigondon side of… LLC), then their bar is a MUST VISIT paired with an array of good drinks and delicious food on the menu. My mom suggested to have our date here and tried their pizza& that was one of the best pizzas we had. The staffs were all lovely and the bartender show was really entertaining. You guys are all amazing — — Jan, Joseph, Roy, and April (just put a new level of girl power, juggling 3 bottles was so impressive) Can’t wait to experience the resort with family soon. And can’t wait to see more of the show! Hats off!

The place is not crowded. The price is worth for the amenities. Accommodation is great. Staff are hospitable with ready smile for guests. Being first time in Cebu and in Solea, we were welcomed by waiter Yaon who was all ready to answer our queries on their menu and even recommended their buffet for our dinner. He went beyond answering on how we get around nearby places. Dinner buffet with featured seafoods for the night was awesome! Kudos too to waitress Evangeline who offerred us platters of delicious mangoes boasting as one pride of Cebu. In summary, guests are treated with equal importance even if there were more Koreans Thank you for being part of our great family escapade!

Soles was amazing, new facilities, clean rooms and super friendly staff. Rose, in the restaurant greeted us every morning, always so cheerful and so helpful with our 2 small kids. Highly recommend this hotel and restaurant.

The place is good and refreshing. I could have given 5 stars but I didn't enjoyed their food that much. But over all it's a nice place.

Food was ok. The pools were great. The service is great. A very nice place for kids. The rooms were great too. We had the suite with 3 big beds. The beach front and the 2 small elevators needs improvement. :)

I love the place. Calm and Refreshing. The best for fun family and group activities.

Cozy ambiance. Good for tourists. Staff and crew are friendly. The pools are great. Accessibility is still quite a hassle since there are only two-lane roads going inside.

It's my first time visiting this place because of our company's team building. The place is okay although it's far from the city. They are open to our theme as they allowed cotton candy and popcorn stands to enter the place. There are 4 pools, to be exact. 2 of them are free to anyone while the other 2 are reserved for guests. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. I had my share of frustrations with this place but overall, it was okay. I mean, it could be because we didn't stay there overnight but yeah, it was just okay. Not borderline awesome and not borderline so-so.

The best place to stay and relax while your kids swims to the pool, they had a life guard and rules in the pool. The hotel was good and nice ambience, also the room with free Wifi, cable TV, nice shower hot and cold, the bed was so good u can sleep well, refrigerator, with terraces that look around the places to see. Wow! You will enjoy it and try for it… Branded Hotel like a western style in America.

The resort is new and the employees were hospitable. As it still picking up its pace, there are still amenities that need improvement. It is clean and the place caters alot of tourists. Their breakfast buffet is okay but a little addition in terms of food variants and area would make it a lot better. Over-all, the place is awesome.

The place is still new so its expected that it is very nice and tidy. Their pool has great aesthetic but very small. They dont have access to the beach which took us by surprise since the kids really wanted to play in the sands. The staff is not that well trained yet. We asked for deals and prices on day use and bfast price and were given different answers from diff people.

Very nice facilities, great place. The pools are not deep and the beach was not accessible. But nice food and hotel.

Checkin is supposedly at 3:00pm but we were asked to wait since they changed the room. They did not even have any compensation for the inconvenience but we were just asked to wait instead.

Just a day guest, not overnight. Terrific breakfast, real orange juice, good food, generous portions. Light, airy lobby looks out onto 4 swimming pools. Family friendly. Concierge desk is CRACKERJACK. Listen to them, they will take care of them. I will be back to stay and chill for a few days, plus will send gf and her familu there. Really loved it. A class act.

Great resort. Aesthetically pleasing interior design and the pools are gorgeous, especially the infinity pool. If I come back to Cebu, I'll definitely pick this resort again. Great staff and overall accommodation and amenities are excellent! Book ahead of time!

So we went here for their day use which when we went was 2500 PHP for 2 people and included an all you can eat lunch buffet. I will do a review of the lunch buffet separately as it is its own review. Pools The pools and there are many are very well taken care of and watched over by some attentive life guards. The main pool is a very nice and deep blue color and has an infinity edge. Then to the right of that pool is another pool with two pits of seats and some loungers. The pool is more of an infinity relaxation lap pool. Then below those two pools are two pools that are joined together and feature two water slides. Past that pool down the path is the kiddy pool which is real nice for the kids. There were more pools by the other building but we did not go and see those as when the property was Best Western we had already visited that side. Property The property is absolutely gorgeous and continues to be upgraded. The landscaping is immaculate and the grounds are very well maintained. The facilities such as the bathrooms and changing stalls are also immaculate and very well taken care of. The reception is very contemporary and well furnished. Comfortable does not do it justice. Service Service is amazing and the attentiveness of the staff is amazing. From the bell boys to the lifeguards and security everyone is very welcoming and are genuinely there to help you out.

Had our food tasting and site tour at Solea Mactan Cebu Resort after we have commissioned them to host our Company Christmas Party this year. I can say, food was superb, and their marketing representative was very accommodating and receptive to suggestions. The place is undeniably one for the books. Picture perfect and very clean surroundings. Comfort rooms are all clean and modern. Every corner of the resort deserves a camera click. You can see a lot of Kenneth Cobonpue furniture around. We get the chance to tour around the roof top bar which is set to open anytime soon. Such a picturesque location above grounds. You can see the neighboring islands from above. Highly recommended. Food location. Accommodation. One Suggestion maybe they can perk it up with some more kid friendly water activities and also have a ready to contact transpo for those who don't have their own vehicles. Other than that — perfect! :)

Tastefully designed and decorated, facilities and amenities for large groups (conference room for our company outing) Space to breathe, perfect swimming water, my new favorite for breakfast buffets! Solea is a resort I highly recommend with their luxurious accommodation spaces, welcoming staff and even further plans for improvement.

The place is so nice. Perfect getaway and staycation. The pool and green surrounding is so amazing. Its just that the customer service is not good. The boy receptionist is not accommodating. He is very dull and lifeless. Better improved!

One of newest luxury resorts in Cebu with hotel lobby embellished with world-class Kenneth Cobonpue furnitures. Different choices of comfy guestrooms, cozy Earth Restaurant, swimming pools and slides, kids zone, kayaking seawater lagoon and more developments coming up adding to its facilities and amenities.

Pros: Great rooms, nice view for the suites, great breakfast buffet, good staff, has a tropical-luxurious feel Cons: The pool is somewhat warm when I went there, no beach yet and the check-in time is 3pm while the check-out time is at 11am, giving you only 20 hours to stay.

Lunch buffet didn't have much selection. Took time for them to open the lap pool. All in all, it was good enough for the price we paid for day use.

Nothing is perfect, but I can say, this resort is almost a perfect one. Peaceful and wonderful.

One of my favorite resort that I've been to in Cebu. Lots of pool options you can enjoy.

Disappointing check-in time is at 3pm while check-out the following day at 11am. Although the resort has good views and artificial sandbar, seawater not ideal for swimming. Swimming pools built specifically for kids. The adults barely enjoy the pools. Slow Wi-Fi with constant reconnection. Food and drinks are expensive. Money. Not worth it.

Staff are good… especially in the restaurant… they treated us NICE… one waiter help Us during our breskfast. Thnx.

Not worth P8900++! MOLD IN THE SHOWER! Gave them a chance to fix it. They said "Ana na na maam" Wtf! So disgusting! Wifi sucks. Toilet not even flushing. I think you don't deserve the BEST WESTERN name! Customer service — 1 star!

There are a couple of bugs that need working out the Wi-Fi was not good in our room, I would like to thank manualito for his hard work in trying to resolve the problem for us. The room was great the food was good the staff were very friendly, kind and always smiling. I woul like to thank April, Alan, Omar, Anthony, Mae, Gretchen, Danny, Sunday, Rodnick, Gespar, and all the rest of the staff for making our stay a wonderful experience. I will definitely be coming back to see you guys. Thanks again.

I love so much the place! huge area that you cant hardly notice that there are plenty of guests, so it is not crowded. The facilities are all so nice and great! wanna go back there again soon with my whole family! Worth to be spending your money for a very nice place to stay,, escaping from the hustle and bustle of living a city life!

I advice to management to conduct daily assessment of thier crew or staff and conduct a good customer service training,,,
