Nice and quite hind away place. Small size hotel with 9 rooms only, good service and really nice and friendly staffs.

Relaxing, not crowded, cozy, accommodating staff, clean, chill vibes. We knew this place through a travel website and they are number 1. So we decided to give it a go. We've been here twice. We have no regrets on our first stay since all staff handled as so well. They were friendly and always smiling. I wanted to give them 5 star review but changed my mind later on since it was only our first time. However, I have promised to give them a positive review only if on our second visit they will still give us the same treatment. So here you go, the treatment that we received before was doubled on our second visit. Id recommend you try Granada if you want a place of tranquil. They only have 9 rooms so be sure to book first before going there as there rooms get fully booked easily. Lastly, they have improved their management now. They have free snorkling gears now as well as various board games.

Very nice quiet hotel… a bumpy slope to the hotel for rental cars… but doable.

Everything is absolutely amazing! The views, the beach, the food, snorkeling, rooms, and staff. So so glad we stayed here!

This is really a fantastic hotel in Cebu. The view is just great, there are only a few rooms, so tranquility is perfect, and it is not close to main Cebu road like other resorts on the island. The private beach is really nice and I really enjoyed snorkling there. Snorkling equipment is provided by hotel. I must have seen thousands of colorful fishes. And a turtle! Food was really good, and staff us very helpful. Don't miss sunset at 5 am.

We stayed here in July for 2 nights as the finish to our honeymoon to swim with the Whale Sharks. We thought the hotel would be basic as was cheap and looked nice but basic. When we arrived it was totally different the hotel is lovely! And put the£500 a night hotel in El Nido to shame for food and service. Yes facilities are basic and a bit quirky but the service is first class and people are lovely. Best value for money I've ever spent on a hotel!

Unfortunately the stay wasn't as great as expected. We had to leave earlier because of the lack of warm water after 8, no Wi-Fi, no tourists within the "resort". The owners don't even know how to say "Hi, bye". When having an issue it's pointless to go and speak to them, as they will not do much about it. The photos of the property look good, but it's a big big disappointment when arriving. Also the security told us that there are many people arriving and leaving right away, however the owners already figured that out so you pay in advance without any return if you want to leave earlier. We were told that the restaurant is opened till 11pm. When we arrived after a long flight we were left with no food, because apparently the restaurant closes at 9pm and no hot water to take a shower. We were told that we cannot drink our drinks at the beach (there was nobody there, but they wanted to make us buy their drinks that were 3X of a price). The pool closes at 10pm?! Way too early. The views are pretty nice, especially when having breakfast. Nice, sweet stuff and it's close to diving with the whale sharks — that is the good side of this place. I do not recommend, I just feel sorry for the Philippinos that are working there and are asked to take all the negativity and irritation from the guests, yet it's not their fault that the rules are soooo weird in there. Within the whole property there are 8 rooms. After 9 pm you feel as if there was nobody there.

Great hotel, with clean and spatious rooms, great architecture and layout of the building, trained staff. The resort feels very private since not sitting next to the main highway. Food was really good and well priced. The view is amazing from most parts of the resort. Quite romantic feel. However on the negative side we came back for diner one night and experienced a double standard : customers of the hotel were being served before us (although we were seated first) and they didn't want to serve us the complimentary bread. As former customers just a few days before we did 20min ride to come and enjoy the food and this put us off a bit. Maybe a staff mistake but it was the head staff so… Hence only 4 stars.

Spent an excellent week here. Really relaxed atmosphere. The staff were great and really friendly. The house reef was fantastic! with turtles seen on three separate occasions whilst snorkeling. A great location to see some of the best parts of Cebu, and go diving with Whale Sharks! A fantastic time and highly recommended!

Absolutely amazing stay at Granada Beach Resort. The perfect mix of relaxation and activities! The staff went above and beyond at every opportunity to make our stay unforgettable and really added a personal touch. And not to mention the best food we had during our time in the Philippines! Chris and Victoria and all of the staff are doing a great job and I will be recommending Granada Beach Resort to anyone that will listen!

My friends and I randomly came across Granada Beach Resort as we were looking for a place to stay after a long ride from Bohol — we were very lucky. Granda Beach Resort is very well placed; it is in between Cebu and Oslob, so if you're looking to do some whale shark diving in Oslob and need to break your journey, I'd very much recommend staying at Granada Beach Resort! We were warmly welcomed by the owners themselves — Chris and his lovely wife, Vicky. They are an amazing couple who clearly put service before anything else. This has precipitated to the rest of their staff as well. We were very well taken care of by Jonny and Jurie, who attended to our every need. The property itself is a little secluded and may be tough to find at first, but this is where you will come to relax. Spend time reading by the pool or the private beach, go for a snorkel or sip some wine while watching the sunset! The bathrooms and bedrooms are simple, decent and comfortable. We had the middle room on the first floor with views of both the ocean and pool. The property is quiet and serene — the internet is not the best, but that also means you get to kick back, relax, rewind and rejuvenate! Granada Beach Resort also provides tours, which are a tad more pricey but definitely worth taking up if you do not want the hassle of coordination. Jurie, who was our guide, was a lovely man, a great diver and such a good sport. Thank you Chris, Vicky, Jonny and Juri!

Granada beach resort was one of the greatest places in the Philippines. My girlfriend and I stayed here for three nights and did not want to leave. Amazing hosts, employees, views, pool and a private beach. The food was excellent (they even catered to our vegetarian diet) and the local craft brews were the best I had on holidays. Could not recommend more.

We were at Granada Beach Resort end of April to go diving and to snorkel with the Whalesharks in Oslob, which is just 15min away. The resort is the only one which is a good way off the noisy main street and has beautiful looks above the sea and into the mountains. The sun sets are stunning, take the seakayak out on the calm sea in the evening, and if you are lucky you can see the 2 sea turtles who a based in the house reef. Speaking of, the house reef is great in crystal clear water and many fish and corals. Chris and Vicky are wonderful hosts and took our kids for magnificent dives! Hope we can come back soon! Oh, and make sure you try Vicky's special creme de brûlée, to die for!

Our stay here was perfect. The owners are so sweet and involved with their guests! The staff is so friendly as well, serving the most delicious food. Rooms are very clean and spacious, pool is great as well. 5/5!
