Really enjoyed our stay! The staffs are super nice and accommodating, you'll feel that they love their job. The island is perfect if you're up for relaxation.

Amazing view of crystal clear SEA, Good for divers many different fish and SEA creatures, nice to snorkling feeling save because u can barely see under the SEA. Fresh Air & nice Coconut trees & flowers. Food is good & Rooms is nice, there is different types u can choose

So for those not use to need to bring own water for rinsing. I hope maybe they can provide fresh water just sell it.

It was a wonderful vacation just for a few days in April. The weather was great and the staff was so kind — we got everything what we had asked for. Sandy beaches with crystal water, tasty food — it was no Wi-Fi and only salty water in the bath but we had the most exiting vacation ever — snorkeling, diving, stand up paddling, massages and sun bathing — a little piece of paradise.

A really special place. Clear waters and abundant marine life just steps from the shore. Best thing about the place though was the staff. You are not a guest but a part of the Modessa Family. Special thanks to Rick and Randy at Tarvis Dive Center. Can’t wait to go back.

The staffs are polite and kind. I love the white sand and the island is peaceful and relaxing.
I am amazed becasue they practice no plastic since they are using stainless steel straws and wooden stirrer. :eco-friendly.

My favorite island in Palawan. And what I can really say the real Palawan. If you want a quiet vacation, this is the place. Food is good. Pristine waters. Amazing staff. Lots of options for water activities. Simple, straightforward, family-style and truly Filipino. Ask for Chicken Curry and Adobo!

For the island, I wanna give it 10 stars But for this resort… just 2.5 stars. So 3 is the even Yup I think Wi-Fi is good to set but it’s no function! U don’t need to set it or if so u should make it be functional! Food is nice but wood floor full of traps so I got injuries on my bottom… it was so painful! The connecting boat is very crazy and slow. I waited for 3 hours and no one came. Btw this island is the must-come I’m your life No ppl, lots of fish and scuba diving is so cheap! Just 1000peso for each dive with equipment! White sand beach and thousands of fish when u Stanton the beachside! Amazing!

It is difficult for me to rate this place a 2, because the staff is extremely courteous and friendly and helpful. However, the word “resort” in the name of this accommodation is extremely misleading. Before I arrived, I understood that I would not have fresh water showers, clean water to brush my teeth with, nor any AC in the rooms. This was perfectly fine with me, and this is NOT what detracts from the resort. What I wasn’t expecting was the filth of the place — the common dining room hadn’t been swept in weeks; tables were covered in sand, food particles and ants. Bottles, cigarette butts, and wrappers littered the floor. Two flea bitten dogs ran around in the eating area, jumping into people’s laps and begging for food. Besides the obvious health concerns of having sick dogs on your lap, they would also run into and out of the kitchen and into people’s private cabins on the beach. There were two desperate kittens walking around the dining area as well, looking emancipated and bedraggled. I love animals, but I don’t want to end up with flea bites or a bacterial wound infection on my vacation. The main dining area was also falling apart, definitely in need of a complete overhaul. There were rusty nails sticking out of the bamboo floor boards — an obvious hazard to a beach resort, where the majority of people walk around barefoot. Dirty, torn screens were half hanging half falling from some window panes.

I truly love this resort and island! The staff are like family and they try their best to make your stay a memorable one.

Place is in need of maintenance, but the staff was great and the island was paradise. Food was good and many options. Would definitely come back.

A single word can describe this place, a PARADISE!

A paradise who stands on nature. There is much to discover. Whether on land or in water. Sharks octopus Stingray and many other special fish. Flying dogs käutzchen turtles with good luck also ashore. The best for me for almost 20 years.

No freshwater, The Internet hardly worked at all, and electricity half the day. Amazing place though! A small island away from everything. They have a small dive shop for when you get bored. Excellent staff.

Amazing experience and place to stay. Few guests, good food (not vast but fair), nice beach front cabanas, super staff always willing, water unbelievable clear and clean. All perfect.

Unforgettable stay on the island of modessa, small island where one finds itself in the world with a transparent water and a sunset to cut the breath.
You can snorkel there and see rays, baby sharks and lots of other species.

Stunning — powder white beaches, wild hibiscus, turquoise sea — incredible protected marine sanctuary around the island. Be aware the accommodations are very basic, but the staff are so kind and the experience of sun and snorkelling and dining each night under shooting stars is breathtaking.

Don't have to travel too far from PP City. A piece of paradise within reach, easy to go back whenever you want. Friendly, attentive staff, offering the best they could for your comfort (room) and satisfaction (food) while being entertained by the gentliest beast, George, the king.

Perfect location just need to work on its cleanliness in the restaurant in regards to dogs and cats running in and out of the kitchen. Rooms are perfectly located at the beach with no noice. Just a wonderful and relaxing place!

Simple resort, in one of the most gorgeous islands ever! The landscapes are to die for and the staff really nice.

As always, it's a good stay. If you want an easy vacation, not so touristy, with lots of opportunities to enjoy the water by snorkeling and diving, this is the place. It's simple and straightforward and it paints you the tropical holiday as you approach the island.

This tiny island, a 45 minute boat ride from Roxas, really is a slice of paradise. The resort is staffed by the friendliest team, all under 25yrs old — giving the island a feeling of Peter pans Never Never Land :). Super snorkelling only meters from the shore and nothing to do but relax on a hammock throughout the day. There's only ever a max of 30 guests so the place feels very private and quiet. The facilities could really do with some investment and the place needs a Good tidy up, some stray piles of building plastics etc… this isn't a resort in the usual respect so don't expect any modern luxuries. But you don't need them here anyway, just relax into nature. All food is included and is fairly decent if you stick to anything grilled or in coconut milk. There's plenty of cold beers and some incredible sunsets.

Little corner of paradise. Must ask just to have the bungalow on the beach and there is paradise. Just the really average food and all the drinks were warm. Must stay 2-3 days MAX I think.

A spectacular beach resort in the middle of nowhere. Food is good. Beach is wonderful. Sunset and sunrise are equally spectacular. A must place to visit.

Amazing Island resort nearly an hour by boat from Roxas. Their boat picks you up at 2pm and you can check out at 8am or 1pm. It's a desert island paradise with traditional huts and a superb dining room-restaurant — bar with bamboo flooring. Comfortable and clean. Beds have mosquito nets. All the food was included… we're veggies and there was plenty of choice… really nice too. Superb Filipino welcome. Well done to Diane and Marcos, and everyone really. Good snorkelling, thanks to Richard in the dive shop. I heard they might be modernising this place… My advice… go now before they do. It's Great!

Just be clear with the owner about the price for family (kids pay half price goal get a meal). Island paradise, well run, good restaurant, table tennis, billiards. Bungalow somaire (fan and salt water in the shower) but perfectly situated on the beach. The island tour you will take 20 minutes, the island is 15 km from Palawan. Beautiful corals to see from the beach. A little piece of paradise. Check the rates for families (children pay half price but you right to a menu).

Of the best there is made a few years ago and unforgettable stay in the heart treatment at the the top barrier on the top and many, many fish do not perfdtevela.

A gorgeous small island with reef and thousands of fishes right from the beach. Staff is welcoming and friendly. Rooms have direct access to the beach. Food is included and good but don't expect anything fancy. This really is very nice place to chill and relax.

Beautiful sea creature awaiting you there… The barracuda parade. — Spending your holiday @modessa island is worth, lovely place that you dont want to go back home… Been here every year this where I learned my diving…
