Review of Ipil Suites El Nido 3*

First of all my apoligies with my grammars. I am Filipino as well but residing now in Australia. I did wrote this in english so that the people from other countries will at least understand it. I would like to share my recent experience during stayed in this place. We stayed 4 nights in this hotel and all was regretful Be careful when checking in to this hotel. Don’t leave any valuables in the room. Bring all your valuables if you can. My wife lost 100$ in the first day of stay. We didn’t complain on that day because I told to my wife that she might just spend it and doesn’t remember. And this is a 3 star hotel and I think the staff wouldn’t do anything to ruin a business. But in the second day my son’s gold ring missing in his bag. Before we’re going out of the hotel I told them that do not bring any jewellery with them. Coz they might drop or loose them on the water. So my son get back to their room and leaved it. He didn’t put it in his luggage with lock due his rushing instead he chucked it in his backpack. At the end of the day when we got back to the hotel and check his ring and it’s gone. We reported it straight away on the reception and called the manager. I also told them that my wife lost a 100$ on the first day as well. They said they gonna conduct a invistigation and reported it to the police. The next day the other manager had a chat with me and told me that they will conduct a invistigation. So we canceled one of our tours just to give way to the invistigation, that’s our last day in the hotel. We waited for the police to come to have a chat with us. But we waited for 8 hours and no one showed up. Not even the manager didn’t updated us what’s going on. Infairness the manager was very polite. But I won’t stop till I get compensated. Until now they conducting a invistigation and said they will updated us whatever the result was. Aside from that… toilets are stunk especially the standard room downstairs. Aircon was so weak no cold air coming out. Brown out every afternoon till 10 of the evening. They got generators but cannot run the ac unit, so you just need to use a fan. Water smells like septic tank. Deluxe room on the fourth floor with no elevator. Our room was close to the street. Too noisy you can hear all the beeping vehicles and loud engines. You can’t even darken the room. Overall I will not recommend this hotel to anyone. Big shit.
