We stayed here 3 years ago and the owner was very nice. When we asked if we can change room, he didn't think twice and let us go to the room we want. My baby also played with his granddaughter and because they were playing he let us stayed a bit late on our room without extra charge.

The best pizza and pasta! So much better than their famous neighbor.

Best place for a fun and relaxing summer vacation! I recommend this place especially to a large group that seeks close bonding activities. The place is not that crowded. This resort has the most accommodating staff. All thanks to ate Diane that made sure our stay is comfortable and enjoyable. Plus, the food here is great! Will definitely go back to this beach resort!

Great food! Cheap goods! But so amazing beach! With a divable swimming pool! I think it's 12 feet height.

We didn’t stay here but ate quite frequently at the bar. Aira was an absolute treasure and the food was so so good! For our western tummies, it was a treat. The fresh smoothies were a godsend from the heat and tasted delicious too. Thank you for being so great.

They said entire puerto galera had electricity outage, if that was the case, they could have used a better generator. Th3 entire trip was a disaster. No electricity means no ac. Coffee took almost an hour before it was served. The Cr have showers but less water coming out. There's also TV but signal isn't good. And the worst part, the shore have stones, big ones which made me swim only twice. You'd think twice… And the pool, it was nic3 but they cl3an late in the morning when everyone is up and ready to dive in… There is only one positive there, Dianne whos always been there to check on us when we need something.

The staffs were very nice, their food was delicious but the roomis very old.

Nice little seafront resort, located next to the last remains of a once beautiful large white sand beach. Nowadays it's mostly pebbles & rocks. El Canonero offers affordable rooms with A/C, hot shower, TV, a frequently cleaned pool (partly 7.5ft deep), and a function room with great views on 1st floor. The bit remote location make this a fantastic budget getaway for the family. We stayed in RM-3, a double bed + bunk bed room half way to Luca's Restaurant, stepping out of the room onto the little sandy beach. The Wi-Fi from reception area didn't reach us there, but we were also not disturbed too much by vendors. A word about service: the staff is generally friendly, but also here the clocks tick in the slower Mindoro speed: It took them 20 and following day even 30 minutes to serve our breakfasts.

Been here for thousand of times, convienient, amd peaceful. If you are craving for a very good pizza and you are at Mindoro? You should try their pizza!

Nice place to be, friendlystaff, goodfood : delicious curry chicken much better than somewhere else! The pizza here is multo buono. Come on! Try one.

Nice resort, great view, good decorations, italian — philippino — international foods in menu, good but bit expensive foods, cheaper room rent. Italian owner has created a nice place. Staffs are friendly. Owner's son is the diving instructor and offer good price. Swimming pool is good.

Stayed here last June 10-11, 2017 and our stay here goes to prove the saying, "You get what you paid for". This is by far the WORST hotel stay I have experienced in my track of traveling the provinces of the Philippines. Booked this via Travelbook. All their contact numbers weren't reachable. The "supposed" front desk didn't even have an idea of our booking until a day or two before we arrived. Too much headache, indeed. Again, we got what we paid for. The staff were okay. Not too accomodating tho. They would often be busy about their own lives, making chismis to each other. Asking for service water took 10years and by the time they noticed we are calling their attention were already parched… Some of us might have even choked to death. I didn't leave a tip so you can fill in the blanks. Food was okay. I think they don't specialize in Filipino Food. Pizza was GREAT — at least there's something to recommend Their office closes at 9pm. So you better get all the things you need because the staff will not be there if you will want food or you will need utensils or whatever. No Security visible. Ni walang medical aid or anyone na matatawag in case of emergency. The pool — NOT CLEAN. No depth marks so it's not for kids. And that brings us to the Table in the pool. The Manager accused my friend of breaking the table made of Marble positioned in the deeper part of the pool. The way the manager approached my friend was already rude. He didn't treat him like a guest.

Nice and peacefull place. Good food. Great diving. Nice people.

If you want to get away from the crowd and have a relaxing vacation, this place is perfect.
Food maybe pricy pero sobrang sarap. Specially the Pizza and Sinigang…
Our checked in time is from 2pm to 12pm the next day pero we arrived early then pinapasok na kami agad sa room then the next day medyo late ang booking sa boat, they allowed us to stay until 2:30pm without extra cost…
