Crosswinds Resort Suites

Rooms are nice although its a little old. The staffs are warm and helpful. The location is nice and has good views especially the pine trees. The negative side is that you have to walk for 10 to 15 minutes going to the pool and play area. Good thing they have shuttle service free of charge.

Buildings, facilities are old but the area is really picturesque and relaxing.
Downside for me is I find the restaurants nearby really pricey.

Stayed in their 2-bedroom suite (5th floor, unit G) last weekend and it was spacious, quiet, with a really nice view. Their hotel staff and guards were accommodating and friendly. Another thing we enjoyed was their breakfast meals which we asked to be served at our room. They offer breakfast buffet every Sunday, 7-10AM.
Cleanliness could be improved though, some parts of the kitchen and bathroom were dusty and moldy. If you plan to work, note that their internet connection is unreliable, we brought our Globe pocket Wi-Fi but seems most of the rooms are really Wi-Fi dead zones. We weren’t able to watch Netflix in the living room TV too due to intermittent internet connection.
P. S. Lots of cafes around the area—from the main entrance you have Coffee Project, Cafe Voila, Ruined Project, Napa, Windmill, Andersens, Dear Joe (check the map I uploaded for more details). Though these cafes are known for its steep price but just so-so coffee and pastries. But if you’re after the aesthetic, then go for it. 🙂

TLDR: Stay somewhere else.
This review is based on staying at Crosswinds. The buildings, rooms, and facilities are outdated and need renovation.
Pro: beautiful nature with a lot of trees. Quiet. Staff is kind and courteous.
Cons: almost everything else, worsened by the fact that this is owned by Villar, one of the richest politicians in the Philippines. It's a real shame. This place can be so much better. Instead it seems forgotten and not cared for by its owner.
Airport transfer: it's available, but they only can do bank orders in order to have it set up, which didn't work, so I just went with a different company that was able to do payment online.
Check in: confusing process. No clear signage of where the lobby is or where to check in. While checking in, I was shown the hotel's viber number. I was then asked if I had viber, I said no, and then she said ok and made no further comment on it. I bring this up because I eventually did download viber, come to learn that the front desk is very good about responding and messaging via viber. If this was the case, they should have emphasized and encouraged downloading viber for better communication on the premises.
Rooms: we stayed in Grand Quarter 2. The bathtub was old and rough. There's a kitchen, but not well equipped. There's a pan, but no cooking utensils. Of the four food burners, only one worked.

Overall, bad service and experience, no mobile coverage, no Wi-Fi internet as part of what we paid, buffet breakfast 1/10, there's no enough food selection. For a PHP 10K payment, this is unacceptable, especially for a hospitality service. Guards and technicians are not helpful at all. It's raining since yesterday, and we all know it's slippery, yet they didn't provide proper mats to walk on the stairs, guests are slipping, and still no mats. For an overall stay, this should only cost 3K-5K. Never coming back again. The only good thing is the location, because of the pine trees, but our 10K stay is not worth the money. That's it. Please improve.

The resort’s facilities are top-notch, including a lovely swimming pool, well-maintained gardens, and various dining options that serve delicious local and international cuisine. The on-site restaurant offers a delightful atmosphere where guests can enjoy meals while taking in the beautiful surroundings.

Upon arrival to the location, which was somewhat hard to find due to the maze of roads / driveways, we were greeted with Swiss buildings and decor. There is a guard at each building entrance which adds to security. We were on the top floor and had amazing views with 2 balconies. Breakfast was included and there was minimal service staff. No one greeted us when we entered, just stood around waiting. Finally got seated and ordered. Food was good and a big portion.
The Cons: I could think of is that we had 5 guests and had to ask for extra blanket, towel, and toilet paper (was only provided with one role in the dispenser. ) The shower knob was temperamental and it was hard to find the balance between hot and cold water. Some of the insides of the closets were moldy and "melting". And there wasa huge cockroach at the entrance when we're returned after visiting the Coffee Project up the street.

Went on a spur of the moment to this resort escaping Manila. Had a wonderful very quit and relaxing couple of days. Front desk, maintenance staffs and security where very welcoming and attend full. Breakfast was good however limited. Knowing that there's a bakery at the ground floor, no choice of western type BF was offered. Only 3 typical Philippine type of rice plates. Management should take into account that foreigners do have an other BF taste in the morning. Will return.

The room is great and clean with a great smell even when I enter the room.
The bed is soft to sleep.
The reetaurants near by is good, we went and eat at Yama and really tasted good that is also really the breakfast they offer. We ate during the weekend that offer a buffet and a meal menu on Monday.

We are a family of 4 with one pet dog. The room was big enough for us (2 bedroom). It looks like our own house so we feel like we are just at home. Homey feels! Overall good! 😊 And the rest are are excellent! 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊

Ample space — however, the convenience of a hotel bell service/porter is not available. We had to carry and push the trolley. The security guard at the bldg lobby was not helpful at all.

Area to the entire property was difficult — we had to ask around 3 guards. The pool area was far. U need a car to go around that having to wait for the free shuttle which runs on a schedule. The Windmill restaurant was blah and there was hair on my iced americano. Gross!
Know that the resort check in is at the andersen bakery bldg.
The only consolation was a nice.

Amenities, food, and services are excellent.
Amenities — clean and relaxing in the eyes. Room Service was fast to accommodate our request.
Food — tastes great and has good portions. Services are good also.
Service — it is beyond words to explain the satisfaction we felt.
Overall experience 9/10. Will be back again with my friends.

Couldnt get enough of the vibe of this place! All I want is to get away from the heat of the Manila, but didnt expect that I was going abroad without flying, it's a Swiss escapade in PH. You have a lot of restaurant choices. The room is clean n comfy with the breeze of Tagaytay. The view is breathtaking. I will be going back for sure!

Upon arrival, I was captivated by the charming architecture and lush surroundings. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff welcomed me with warm hospitality. The staff are very helpful and all of them smiled. The panoramic views from my balcony were simply breathtaking, especially during sunrise and sunset.

No question, the place is so relaxing and peaceful. Rooms were somewhat fine but not great and service is too poor. There’s no one at the frontdesk who can cater the customers’ needs. When serving breakfast, you still need to inform them that you are ready for it, not served at a scheduled time and when served, what’s on the menu are not served completely. You still need to ask them where is this where is that? 🤦‍♀️
No one tells you there are available plates, spoons and forks inside the cabinets, there are no indications. There are no enough garbage bins inside the room, only the little can inside the bathroom.
