• Concierge front was nice but there was this one lady who just stood in the hallway, doesn't greet us though we've passed by her many times, and always has this annoyed look. (The cleaning people and room service staff knew better customer service though they're the behind-the-curtain people. ) • Room always smelled like mango which is nice. • Do check under the blankets, we were surprised to see black stains on the mattress cover. • Peephole for our room was extremely dirty to the point you can't see through it. The cover was also broken. • Remotes felt like it was never wiped. • Bidet head was disgusting, and seemed uncleaned for months. • Pool is far away from the hotel, embarrassing to go down if you're in your swimwear since you'll pass by the park visitors. • Had to ask for two pairs of slippers 3 times, and still waited for an hour to arrive. (Better to bring your own, it breaks easily as it's very thin. ) • Provides one bottle of mixed shampoo and conditioner despite having more than one guest. (Also better if you bring your own. ) •The food is delicious at Makan Makan! Friendly waiters and great service. Would come back for the park, but the hotel isn't worth it.

Considering that we love staying at 5star hotels… This hotel is still highly recommended. Stayed at H2O just because it's the same building with manila oceanpark and our priority is convenience. We were expecting a simple hotel since their price is really affordable but we must say that it exceeded our expectations. Service — everyone were very polite and quick Linens and sheets — super soft and high quality Cleanliness — superior Breakfast buffet — again, for it's price… masarap sya especially the daing! Thank you H2O.

No doubt the room was nice, unique and clean. Third time to stay here. Downside is check in time @ 2PM but the room is not yet ready at past 3PM. The buffet breakfast is so basic mostly eggs & fish. Would have been a nice experience and would still recommend specially if this is your first time. Ocean Park is still fun.

Wonderful services and the room is really clean.

Check intakes about 45 minutes and the reception staff seem really slow. Having said that, they are very polite and pleasing to speak with. room is clean, towels only 2 without any hand towels, ver basic amenities and no slippers. Housekeeping seemed to fo a good job with cleanliness. Shame that the bar was closed due tonthe rain when we were there. Very basic breakfast but the staff is just awesome. I clearly remember Ray and the reception guy I forgot but they are all. So patient with so many people getting seconds and thirds. Check out was better within think Phoebe allowing us the extra hour. I will. Stay here again.

Nice amenities, affordable rooms but the customer service sucks, you have to borrow wheelchair by yourself upon check out and the guard keeps reminding you to give it back immediately. Not disabled friendly hotel. And the ahjumma lady in the reception is so sungit very unwelcoming. Very slow check in din.

For the good points: 1. Reservation Officer is courteous. 2. Mam Arlene Templonuevo is a big help. 3. Friendly staffs. 4. Our aqua room is spacious and relaxing Some areas that needs to be improved. 1. Showers are leaking. 2. Carpets needs to be vaccum once in a while. 3. Areas surrounding the hotel are really dark. Transportation is really difficult starting 6pm onwards. 4. Should lit up the area to make it more lively and inviting since they are already back in operation. 5. Food choices are very few. 6. Complimentary coffee are only 2. Aside from two bottled water, no mini bar freebies. Still recommendable despite some attractions are undergoing renovations.

Cold and clean rooms :) best experience with my family :) good thing we were able to avail the reopening promo. Kids enjoyed the in-room aquarium :) room attendants are very accommodating and approachable. A bit issue with front desk people but tolerable. Sayang lang hindi pa open ang pool 🥲 hope to check-in again on their next promo :)

We, with my fam, really enjoyed our stay here last night. Besides that one of the room's wall is made up of an entire salt water aquarium, which is awesome, the best experience there are the staff! they are all so courteous and helpful and happy beautiful people! I really would love to stay here again!

Very nice room. The staff is very friendly. Plenty to do with exhibits, shops, and many food choices. Good place to relax and enjoy.

Dirty surroundings. The comfort room for men near the security office had only 3 urinals, one is out of order. It was stinky and dirty! Yucky in there!
I attended a seminar. The internet was very slow that’s why the exercises were a failure. A lot of participants could not connect. Not good for seminars. One of the Maintenance people who serviced the seminar room was wearing flip flops, very unprofessional.
I would not recommend this Hotel. Staff could not cope with the volume of visitors coming and going to different event areas, that’s why maintenance services is poor.

They only have few floors to stay at. The rooms are tiny. My room is much bigger than the room I stayed at. What I liked about it is the shower is really overflowing. The service is not so bad. Very polite concierge. Food at makan makan not so good but not bad either.

Attended a government sponsored workshop in one of it's function rooms overlooking the bay. Restroom is not that okay if you base it on hotel standard. And since it's inside the Ocean Park, I had to go back to the guard in the entrance to ask for direction because no one was manning the front desk. For me, that's a big No-No for a hotel.

Hotel H20 is a wonderful place to stay in Manila. It's over the bay and the views are spectacular. We stayed in the Aqua Supreme Room, amazingly beautiful, tranquil and peaceful. The staff is kind and incredibly accommodating. Also, because it's connected to Ocean Park, which is a very cool place. You get nice discounted packages as a guest. Abundant choices of food and nice restaurants to eat and relax. All tucked away in a great part of the city. Highly recommended.

Expected, booking with Booking, a welcome cocktail that was not offered to us. Stayed in a room called Water as there is a full-wall aquarium. Soundproofed room quite well, but you could hear quite noisy children in the neighboring rooms and hallway. Good service but especially the staff very friendly and very helpful, congratulations to the staff!
Beautiful and functional bathroom. Cleaning in the discreet room though the aquarium glass, the room's strength, wasn't exactly well cleaned. Room equipped with all the amenities and courtesy set in the bathroom. But with a refrigerator poccolo that cooled little and a single small foam bath for two people.
The hotel also has an in-house restaurant and a small smoking room.

Not bad, maybe a little on the expensive side but you're right there at the park and that is nice. The fiance and me had the bay view room and it was nice. The grandparents and kids started in one of the large aquarium rooms and the kids really enjoyed that. I just wish there were more options for food on the property. Most nights we went to the restaurant down the street, walking distance. I wish I could remember the name right off hand but it was very good and reasonably priced.

Check in was smooth. The receptionist was kind enough to assist me immediately even though I do not look like any other guests (I just came from a 5 hour flight). My room is great, the bed, the comfort room, the amenities even though my room had no windows, it was still great with all the jelly fishes.

Not the best area — but the hotel itself I cannot complain about. Instead of a window I had a giant aquarium in my room. Nice! Great restaurant with some good food. I used their transport services, laundry — everything was perfect. And GREAT value for money. But I do not recommend walking in the area after dark…

Their father’s day event : A date with Dad was a total rip off! Terribly disappointing! They charge 999 a head for what they promised to be a dinner buffet by Makan Makan boasting of 150 Asian dishes and a comedy show. But in reality was just a 4 course buffet prepared by a cafeteria (masarap pa sa turo-turo) and a string of 3rd rate amateur comedians! (Mas nakakatawa pa ang payaso na pang birthday ng bata. Bwiset talaga!

The hotel was okay for what it is. But the entrance has the stench of strong body odor (no, it wasn't the staff) coming from the air conditioner. The staff is great. They're patient and you can tell they're well trained and experienced. I hung out at their lobby one night and got a lot of mosquito bites. It is tough to be critical but with such high standards, there's more to be expected than what is currently offered.

Going to Manila to be both friends. H2O must be a good choice for Hong Kong friends. Because you can learn about Manila's Invincible Sea view. But the location is really not too foot. None of the nearby systems are wild. Many Manila taxi drivers do not know the H2O HOTEL is wild. If next time you have a chance to talk. Must be told. Ocean Park. Because he was tied to OCEAN PARK. It's an estimate that you're not here.!

We stayed on one of their aqua rooms. It was a weird but truly memorable stay. I had fun gazing at the fishes that tirelessly zooms from all sides. Suggestions. It got a bit noisy during our stay, from the occupants on the other rooms, to the people passing by the halls. A little improvement on sound proofing will be greatly appreciated.

Pleasant experience in a fairly new & clean hotel. Staff are friendly & polite. Rizal Park is a convenient, short walk away. Check-out unfortunately took quite long at 12PM as everyone was waiting in line to check out then, but everything else was OK.

Very nice hotel overall with great view and locaction. Unfortunately it took a call to front desk to make the room habitable because the thermostat didn't work. The music in the restaurant is so loud it's hard to talk and there is no quiet place outside — I looked.

We stayed at one of the Aqua supreme rooms last May 7, 2018 to celebrate our honeymoon. The reservations staff were all very accommodating in answering all our emails and even coordinating with the concierge regarding our transportation from the airport to the hotel. Check-in was a breeze! They actually allowed us to check-in earlier since the room was already available, and boy the room was beautiful! Very neat, well-maintained, and with a spectacular aquarium with colorful fishes! It actually is a plus to stay at the hotel because my husband and I were able to rest in between animal shows/attractions. The spa was also a very relaxing experience, although I was not a fan of the hot bed after the massage, it was certainly a first for me! The breakfast buffet needs more options but nevertheless it was a proper breakfast. Check-out was also very smooth and fast! Definitely coming back!

We were seated on one of their couches and this receptionist casually approach us and was 5 feet across when she said that theyre missing a bath mat! Wherein no one even assisted us during our check in. They gave us our keys and let us walk and find our own room now theyre treating us as if weve stolen theyre bath mat that I dont even know how it looked like! The way they called us out was inexcusable specially the entire floor can hear her accused us that we took a bath mat! What are we? Petty thefts? I challenge them to check their cameras, go to our car and check it, and to check our bags… they ask us to go back to the room to point yo us that their are no bath mats what I did was pointed back to the face towel we had to use a bath mat bec theyre arent any! And that their showers are leaking btw… Why would we use their hand towel if a bath mat was available. Besides no one assisted us, no checklists signed and the manager proudly said that they check the room before handing them to their guest? Really?. When no one escorted us to our rooms! And the bed was badly made as if the sheets were already used! They treated the foreign couple the same just a few minutes before us. It was utterly humiliating and the worst is that it ruined my sons 7th birthday! — 10 is my rating!

Nice place. But some staff looks down at you when you are seen with a foreign guy. Can't blame them, but this is your job. You have no say to this kind of relationship anyway. And your training, pls be mindful of that. = (

The service was excellent. We had small extra requests and they were fulfilled without complaint. The room was well designed and spacious, clean and tidy. The hotel was outside of the busy cbd, but had access to its own range of shoos and restaurants.

Actually, it's our 3rd time here at Hotel H2O and I can say that it's getting better everytime. It's a good thing that the comfort room has a bidet sprayer and roller blinds. We checked in an Aqua Room during our first two stays at the hotel last 2015 and 2016. But this time we tried the Bayview type of room. The sea view is very relaxing except for some floating plastics in the water. One more thing that I like about this hotel is your mini bar compliments with nuts, cookies and sodas. Unlike other hotels that only provided bottled water, coffee and tea. Overall, our stay at Hotel H2O is great and relaxing. We'll surely get back here again. Just keep up the good work and by the way kudos to your very accommodating and friendly hotel staff!

We stayed in the Aqua room which had an aquarium for one of its walls. A cute novelty that's a hit with the kids, but for adults — it's probably to take our minds off the fact that the room has no windows. The room is spacious enough at around 25 square meters and well appointed. Though not bad in itself, for the room price, the choices at the breakfast buffet is a bit disappointing when compared to other similarly priced and starred hotels. No bacon!

Had an amazing stay at h2o hotel. We had an overnight stay in their Aqua Room, my little sister, nieces and nephews love the huge aquarium inside our room. It's beautiful and relaxing Room is very clean and the bed is really comfortable. Staffs are courteous and helpful, they always greet the guests with smiles on their faces. Overall we love our stay in this hotel.

I just came back from a 12 day stay at the Hotel H20. I could not have imagined how perfect it was. The staff was so friendly professional and welcoming. From the trainees to the top management. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The food was excellent. I have no complaints at all. I'm thrilled to be saying I am going back in the next 6 months for a longer stay. I feel that I have made friends for life there.

Staff are friendly, room clean and really comfortable bed but if you require extra drinking water or refreshments you are charged, Wi-Fi is very SLOW and buffet breakfast have to pay for extra food… overall rating would be a 2 star.

This place is a little quirky for a hotel. The parking lot is located a stone's throw from the hotel entrance. The staff are attentive and will always greet you if you come across them. The selling point of the hotel are their aquarium rooms, which make for quite the experience.

The staff are polite. No big fuss on checking in & out, using the amenities. We got rooms facing the bay. Saw boat activities even witness the ground crew welcome dance for a docking cruise ship. One downside though, the sofa in our room needs a new cushion — you could feel its frame!

We stayed in the aqua room and the kids loved it because of the wall aquarium. The food in Makan makan is good and the staff are courteous. The only drawback for me is that we had to go to the main entrance, go to the area for viewing of animals/show before we could reach the pool.

Buffet breakfast is uninspired. Sometimes, there is a foul smell that suddenly wafts in different parts of the hotel like the smell of sewer in the ground floor and the front desk and the smell of burnt wire inside the room. The bad smell disappears immediately, though. There was hair in the tub drain that floated when I filled the tub with water. The staff is polite and professional.

Overall experience was ok. This is true for the mid-range accommodation at least. I'm not sure about the other types. The breakfast buffet was meh. The hotbed treatment was good.

We spent a night at the H2O Hotel and had a good experience. The staff is friendly, common and room areas are mostly clean and kept tidy. We were surprised by the food prices, they are lower than other hotels but just as good. The room itself was ok, the jellyfish in the aquarium we thought is cool and our little one thought so too.

Jellyfish room was beautiful. Staff was nice and welcoming! Air conditioning worked well to our needs as we come from much colder temps.

My stay here is the best I've had in a very long time. This is my second visit here and my wife and I are being treated like royalty from day one. The staff are the most courteous, well disciplined and most accommodating. Biggest kudos go to the managers Christian and Resty who make me feel both like family and a very well treated guest as well. I will never hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone, Filipino or foreign visitors included. Please keep doing what you are doing and provide rest and relief to visitors and travellers alike!

The place is looking dated and needing renovation plus the location isn't convenient if you need to conduct business in Manila. Public transportation isn't easy as well but it is by the Manila aquarium if you like looking at fish. The Manila hotel and Quirino grandstand and Rizal park are nearby.

Shower ranged from low pressure to literally no water at all. Internet was pretty much the same — slow to non-existent. Dirty rooms, including sheets with stains and hair. Restaurant staff offers to charge meals to the room, then comes to the room asking for cash and escorts you/locks you out if you don't have it on you. We somehow put up with this place for 4 nights before moving hotels. Do yourself a favor and avoid even one night.

The rooms, service and staff are fantastic. They could do with more variety of restaurants. The Indian food did not include a traditional indian curry. The hotel is far from centers where there are a variety of restaurants. The white moon bar is lovely. Sitting outside at night looking over Manila bay with the lights of the boats in the distance was beautiful. Would I return? Probably not and that's simply because of the lack of dinning choices.

We booked H20 not knowing much about accommodation, bathroom is rundown for 4 star and very tight with providing toiletry items e. G. ; toilet paper, shower gel, face washers … the room is good and clean — the aquarium in the room is pretty awesome actually fantastic — thumbs up! Location wise, far from city and getting home (3pm onwards, always stuck in traffic chaos) Really, I think the H20 really needs to look at the hotel and what it does not offer to customers, pool is not the best at all and no nice bar to relax around and Breakfast is just ok. Staff where friendly, but H20 looks like it needs some attention.

Very unpleasant experience at this hotel. We reserved 2 rooms for our family. The rooms felt like they were a mile apart. We asked if they had closer rooms together. They had available but wanted to charge an extra 8, 000 pesos for a slightly larger room. Extremely unreasonable.

On April 10 I purchased a 1 night stay for my brother in H20 with Agoda, When my brother went and checked in the front desk they wasn't very helpful to my brother so I called and tried to talk to the representative in the front desk to explain it to them about that I purchased thru agoda, that was 3 am, the Rep was rude answering the phone and he wasn't working enough made my brother to deposit $100.00 cash and waited over 1 hours just to give them a room. I called the same day to give my credit card info so they can give back my brothers money, I sent all the info that they requested signing consent, Picture ID, Front and back of the credit card and so forth. Until now they have not settle the payment and refund my brothers money and its been over a month now. Intact the amount that we agreed with Miss Constantino Php3420.00 and then turned around send me another email stating that my cost suppose to be with tax is Php 4172.40 nett. I had to be the one calling and following up if they receive my fax or email. The seemed like they don't care about their reputation as long as they collected the money, I'm very disappointed and not happy of what they put me thru. I will be telling all people I know that its not worth going thru the hassle just to say in this Hotel. They don't know how to accommodate and compensate you.

“One of a kind hotel” 5 of 5 starsReviewed August 7, 2014 When I stayed here, I booked the room with the aquarium, the fishes are just so fun to look at and make my mind relaxed. The lighting of the room is also very nice. I like this hotel, but not very sure of its management. Maybe if they can give 5 star service it will be one of the best hotel. The area is also nice. I never thought the manila bay area could be this romantic. I always thought that bay area is full of trash, foul smell and dangerous. However when I stayed in this hotel it gave me a different vibe, felt like I wasn't even in manila. Hope they will continue to maintain the hotel and maybe I'll visit back again soon Room Tip: Pick the aquarium room for a different feel.

The time I had entered for checking is disappointment. Front desk and staff are not friendly (I think its because I was not dressed up like some rich people that night) got in the room, looks like whats in the picture. Since I was with family, there is no privacy in the bathroom. There is a roll up curtain that is filthy. Their towels are falling apart (my dogs towels looks better) the room smell smoke which I addressed to the front desk. When I booked my stay, it supposed to go w/ breakfast but was told the its not included then it took them forever to confirm and still wants me to pay for the breakfast. (too expensive! cost of another hotel stay) Since I still have jet lag, I wanted to take a nap while my brother and his family enjoys aquarium tour but the music that they have at their park was too loud. My car has a better soundproof glass on it. I asked the front desk if there's anyway we can get a different room but was told that's what I had reserved. Its also a hassle going in and out for my car parking validation. I decided to do early check out and found RAMADA HOTEL which is very friendly staff, clean and quiet rooms although its close to a lot of bars and clubs. I don't really recommend this hotel if you are looking for a place to relax and unwind.

This is definitely not a quiet or a comfortable hotel to stay. I stayed at this hotel for 5 days and I find it to be extremely noisy throughout the day and night. Apparently Manila Ocean Park is located inside the hotel, it is noisy and loud all day and night. The hotel walls are made of glass therefore there are no noise insulation, you can literally hear people talking outside your door as they walk down the hallway, you can hear Manila Ocean Park music playing all day and you can also listen in to your neighbor who is next door to your room. There is no privacy whatsoever. The breakfast buffet is just horrible, the food selections were very poor and the hotel ventilation is smelly. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone if you want peace and quietness or to sleep at night.

Staff are very polite, greeted you all the time. I like the place. My husband message to them that he is arriving late at night, im glad that they accomodate me. :) I never had a problem with them.

Not a great place to stay We are from Las Vegas and currently staying here now. The only best part is you get to see the sunset if your room is the bay view. But the environment is so dirty.

Wow. I hope they made some staff adjustments concerning this woman. I stay most times in a nice quaint Makati hotel. Just message them in advance of my fiancé arriving ahead of me since I also arrive late a night due my flt arrival and never a problem letting her in the room.

I booked a room for two nights. My flight was due in the night of the 8th at 945 and my fiencee was coming from baguio. Carla, a lady in reservations, stated that the hotel policy was to keep my fiencee sitting on the street with her bags until I arrived. Even though I booked for that day and the next, provided my passport and credit information, carla was stern in not allowing my fiancee enter the hotel. So if you plan on staying in the hotel please make sure you are first to arrive or your family and friends will be kicked to the curb by Carla and the policy of H2o. I cancelled my reservations and went with another five star hotel that was accomadating to the circumstances of travelers.

I went there with my 2 kids and we totally enjoyed our experience. The aqua room is amazing and a great new concept. The staff are very accommodating and courteous especially John (concierge), Carla (reservation) and Russel (Makan-Makan). I just find the pool a bit small but good thing there were no people so my kids enjoyed it for themselves. This hotel is really good for family. There's so much to do and attractions to see. Fish spa is a "must try". Will definitely go back to this hotel. John showed us the jellyfish room and we will be definitely book it next time.

I've been there for a group tour, this place was really nice. I really like there aquarium. Ilove the buffet bfast. We've tried also makansutra,, awesome! I enjoyed the sea lion show! really great! but the staff are not that much accommodating. Nothing much. I love this place. We'll be coming bAck.

We've been there after my little brothers graduation, well its pretty awesome in there plus you could watch the musical fountain and sealion show for free because thats the view in window. Anyaays the rooms are kinda expensive because it has only 23 rooms in there because it stands in water. I really love the hotel specially the zenyu eco spa, we also been there that night. I love the rooms, the facility and everything. Well the service was not really bad cause we call in the lobby cause the toilet wont flash, they said they will come in just minute but they didnt come so we just took sleep and call on the next day. Well its such a pleasure to go to that hotel.

Great hotel if your into the fancy stuff. Rooms were clean, staff nice and friendly. Rooms have nice views and some with aquariums inside. There is also a place to shop below.
