Bad customer service. Took us at least 30mins just to check in and an hour to checkout. Had issues with the morning buffet and the concierge raised his voice to us and over talks.

Best location, nice ambiance, Clean, Near in SMX, serves delicious foods and most of all the staffs are very hospitality and accommodating. So come and don't miss to stay and visit.

Friend Staff! Great place to stay with family and of course a 4 star affordable hotel.

They are soooo bad in customer service. Especially the people who answers their calls.

Stayed here last October 27-29, Room is very spacious and the staff are very accomodating. Will definitely book again for any of our future events.

Been hotel hopping and this is by far the worst. Do not get the one with breakfast in Agoda, it's a total scam. The female receptionist insisted that there were no breakfast even if Agoda affirms the booking should have it. Now the hotel staff says they never said that there was no breakfast. This is not a 4 star hotel lol much more of a 2 star. Agree with the previous reviews here, it was okay until there would be a refrigerator that doesnt get cold, a broken elevator — had to take stairs because we have an urgent meeting. The male front desk, concierge, housekeeping was very accommodating and best in customer service but it was equally balance by the negative attitude of one of the female receptionist. If you're not happy doing your work, work elsewhere, the value of the whole hotel plummeted down after several encounter of her presence.

Great experience, great staff and great service. Baka may free accommodation naman kahit one or two nights lang 😊

Family friendly hotel. Clean, nice location.

MOA is within walking distance. The staff were very polite and professional. Front desk personnel was approachable. Beds were comfy, with extra pillows, towels, slippers and bathrobes. They had a wardrobe cabinet, a mini fridge and a kettle. Drawbacks: slightly clogged bathroom sink, exhaust fan was good-for-nothing and the remote batteries need to be monitored.

The breakfast buffet, so yummy and the staff is polite. Great hotel.

Best hotel I ever stayed so far. They are very accommodating and the staffs are really friendly as well. One time I ordered from their cafe and sadly my food was delivered late. Upon knowing that this actually happened they actually delivered slices of fruits to my room as complimentary for what had happened though for me it's not necessary since I fully understand that things like this might actually happened and it's really unavoidable. But they insists and still delivered it to my room. I really feel grate. They treat all the guests really well. I will actually recommend this hotel to all my friends. In my quarantine experience in this 4 star hotel I would say reception are very helpful and accomodating. But house keeping side is not very bad the rooms they assign for me have damge and filty, towel is old shower is not clean properly, shower dispenser is empty, no face towel no hand towel, side bed furniture is broken. Thanks for the quick action to move me in different room.
Other thing ive notice during my quarantine stay is the meals below average as you expect 4 star rating they serve in pack which is fine but it serve cold and few times meals serve in repeat what you got for warm breakfast same you have at dinner serve late and cold. Food is very simple home style cooking not a 4 star rating. The service youve got is not approriate of what youve paid. Day of my check out there is an earthquake 4th floor are shaking a lot. Scary.

Very approachable and they were very helpful, Lord knows we need these kind of people to lighten our stress with traveling in this pandemic. I had a good and restful night here. Place is very clean and smells really fresh. Food is not bad either. Moderate pricing with 5 star service. Highly recommended to all the incoming balikbayan, OFW’s and tourist. The hotel room is spacious and clean. Employees are pleasant. It is very suitable for family staycation. Big plus is its proximity to SM Mall of Asia. This is our 4th time here already. We will definitely come back.

On older hotel, with superb customer service. Very clean rooms. Excellent breakfast buffet. Great food in their 7the floor restaurant. Good gym and pool.

Outstanding location. The building takes a while getting used to going around and finding your way inside the hotel but it gets easy after a while. The room is great, well spaced, and beds are comfortable. Room service is outstanding as well. If you’re staying here then you should try their breakfast, it’s just an amazing buffet experience. Just a short walk to the Mall of Asia. ATMs, restaurants, laundrymat, and convenience stores are just around. Highly recommendable, definitely going back.

Short stay (only one night) but the place is impressive. We ate in the international restaurant on the seventh floor. The food was delicious. Room was spacious, clean, with black out curtains, two TVs and loved hotel bath robes. Wish we could have made use of the pool on the seventh floor but didn't want to travel with wet swim suits. Staff was helpful across-the-board. Arranged our early morning transport to the airport and packed our included breakfast for the trip. Would definitely recommend staying here.

That was really good experienced staying Golden Phoenix Hotel, It was just 8 mins. Walking to DFA as well as MOA and many others malls around it, I my fiancé and my sister had a great experienced their super super luxurious massage with an affordable prizesI highly recommend thier therapist you really get want you wantedthe staff was really nice and very approachable they even give you a late check out without additional paymentthat was really incredible Breakfast was served as early as 6am so if you have an early appointment at the dfa or whatever bussiness you have that would be very convenient and they change their food everyday so it is not boring to eat breakfast everyday, we probably come back here somedayMore power Golden Phoenix Hotel Manila ‘Pasay’

Room is spacious and the staff were warm and friendly. I love the location which was very near the Mall of Asia. However, some things I didn't like was that the elevator keeps on making some creaking sounds which made me nervous. And when you have special request like water, you have to call them twice. It seems they don't have proper coordination.

Room looked great, but on closer inspection there were cockroaches and basic items missing (tea spoons). Breakfast choice was underwhelming and all the food was cold. The check in process was slow, and although we had booked and paid for (in advance non refundable) 3 persons (2 adults and 1 child) we were only allowed 2 breakfasts. On a positive note, room service was prompt, reasonably priced and tasted good.

Check in was a little slow. But after check in, all expectations I had about this hotel were exceeded. The breakfast offered in the morning was full of variety and was delicious; there are many options for room service, of the four meals I enjoyed, all were delicious. The in room massage was very nice, both masseuses were very professional. I would definitely stay here again and am recommending it to my friends.

The place is highly recommended for business and leisure travelers. The room is very spacious and beds are comfortable. It is walking distance to Mall of Asia. Breakfast has great variety. Swimming pool is not that big — — with scenic city view. Gym is also available.

The hotel is pretty nice and the service staff are friendly. There aren't a lot of things within walking distance though. However, there is a complimentary one-way shuttle to the mall. The room is pretty cozy and the bed is comfy but the bathroom is rather tiny. The internet isn't exactly great either as it keeps disconnecting and is quite slow. All in all, it's not too bad a place to stay but I reckon you could probably get more for your buck elsewhere.

* a peaceful place
* the gym and swimming facility are good
* friendly food attendant and housekeeper
* affordable items in the mini bar Cons:
* the guards and bellboys are not so welcoming
* it is a struggle to reach your room (as if you are in a maze) so as finding the elevator leading to higher floors (but we got used to it though :) )
* there is somewhat funky smell in the hallway
* the carpet in the hallway is dirty
But we did enjoy our stay for 3 days!

If you can give sporadic I don't even have a star to play for this hotel, the first is the hotel design is extremely strange, the first time to find the elevator. The service staff is also a cold attitude. Moreover the room, in fact the decoration and the hardware is good, but the health is very bad, inside the room I killed 3 cockroaches. And the air conditioner will drip on the bed. At that time just for the next day by plane convenient to set this hotel, built to everyone if not must not order this hotel!

Location is perfect and a nice hotel all in all. The room we stayed in smells a bit weird. Although it was a non-smoking room I do believe people often smoked in the room.

Stayed here twice last year 2017. The rooms are big and the breakfast is good. I love the scent in their lobby. I just hope they will be more strict on the smoking policy (we were given with a room that smells of cigarette. Had to transfer to another room — a big hassle).

Clean and tidy, the service is good, the bed is soft and hard moderate. Did not give five-star is because my room faucet is particularly difficult to twist open, the other children open the bathroom faucet, water the first time incredibly is the head of the shower head, get a. The whole is good.

Clean and very convenient. It's about 10minutes drive away from the Airport. Great end to our trip. The breakfast was okay but not the best. The rooms are very nice spacious and clean.

It's the people that made my experience so wonderful. The facility is beautiful… but it is the staff that made this the best. The staff so polite and helpful it is impossible for me offer improvement in any way. They got it right at the Golden Phoenix hotel. Do yourself a favor and stay with these people and their hotel. I am beyond blown away by this establishment, not only is it an extremely professional and clean environment but the employees go above and beyond for their guests. It was my first time visiting Manila and I arrived at the airport extremely late. Immediately leave the airport doors I was met by a taxi driver who said he would take me to the hotel. I arrived at the hotel and the total was 3050 pesos. Not knowing the cost of taxi's, payed and went into the hotel. When I reached the front desk I asked the price that the taxi should have cost. It should have costed around 800 pesos and I told them what I payed and they were astonished and said they would call the taxi service and report the driver by looking at the cameras and getting the plate number. I was content with that and chalked it up as me being a tourist and getting taken advantage of, my mistake. Today I received a call to my room and it was the head of security and they asked me to come to the front. When I arrived standing by head of security was the taxi driver who drove me. I received a refund for my ride and am in complete disbelief. What an amazing story and I will be staying here every time I visit. The rooms are amazing and I even got upgraded to a suite, I hope every place I stay during my trip is half as good as The Golden Phoenix.

Big rooms! Great bed! Slept really well. I love that linen isn't soaked in fabric softener. Bfast is good. Pool area is bad, no landscaping at all and female shower room's like a storage room. No locks available for the lockers.

The staff are not that kind. Whenever I ask something it takes too long. Breakfast also not good too. Out side is good but inside is not clean. The bed cover got some stains. Swimming pool is so tiny. I think it is for kids only.

Room is extra large with good interior decorations, except for some feature wall paintings that could make the room a bit more lively, than to have been a plain boring single colored 4 walls.

The elevators heading to the rooms is kind of confusing and their carpet is so loose I almost tripped myself. But the rooms and bed amazing, their bathroom is gorgeous and spacious with bidet take note. The breakfast is outstanding wide variety of choices. Can't wait to come back for a vacation again. The staff is courteous and the bellman who take care of our luggage when checking is awesome, he help us out to get transportation through GRAB apps on their system, I really appreciate my stay with your hotel.

Big rooms, great breakfast and helpful staff! But there was a staff who is a bit stupid person. He told me I will help you for negotiation with taxi driver but when taxi arrived he told me you can negotiate :) ) Except this stupidity everything was superb!

Got my booking through a promo and never regretted it as far as the room and service is concerned. Their staff are helpful and friendly, though their checking in process is a bit of a hassle due to the heavy inflow of customers during our check in. The rooms were on the luxurious side. Quiet and conducive for sleeping since it is located far from a busy highway. Their food service is good too, made by their wide selection of food at their breakfast buffet. Room service is quick though a bit pricey. But every positive is always countered by downsides which are as follows: the location, the price and its luxury. The third one being that due to the luxurious ambience their rooms offer, Golden Phoenix may not be the best place for a family with small kids.

Clean and comfortable price slightly higher to book early also good if there are friends to stay next to the Manila casino can recommend staying here.

Such a nice and comfortable place to stay in! But the service is just a little disappointing. The crewmen will make you wait too long for the food and any other services which always makes you decide to find some place that is more convenient.

Not interested to be returned even overnight) view of the trash and construction, the windows haven't washed since the hotel was built. The restaurant is not claiming any stars, just like the hotel itself.

Horror! It's all terrible! The attitude, the food is terrible.! At the restaurant food is like a station café! The hotel is very safe. Two stars tops.

Excellent value for money, near airport.

Service is pretty good and so are the rooms. Wi-Fi wasn't amazing, but the location is superb. Food at the breakfast buffet was ok, but it's easy to walk over to MOA and choose from the many restaurants there. Very convenient for airport access. Staff were very professional.

Nice new hotel. Near mall of Asia. The only downside is the carpet in the hallways. This is not nice to walk on with suitcases.

Decided to stay in a hotel for the new year's eve celebration to avoid all the stress but it wasnt the way we expected it! We were so stressed out! first, the room that was given to us was not clean — — — used towels were all over the place, bedsheets were not yet changed, etc. So we have to complaint and we were transferred to another room. We thought that the room where we were transferred was already ok but it wasnt! need to complaint again because the TV has no cable connection. 2 technical guys came but unfortunately they were not able to fix it. So again we asked if we can be transferred again, but no more rooms available. The reception guy informed me that he'll report the incident to his manager and he'll make call us… but no call was ever made! Oh well! Needed tomake the most out of our stay… Bfast was so BAD! How we wished we did not include it in our package — not worth it. Lobby stinks and unappealing I guess this is our first and last time in this hotel.

Service 5 +. The room has everything you need: safe, slippers, bathrobe, modern Telly with usb and HDMI, mini bar. Close to the airport.
