“As per a management” is the Standard answer but in one email “yes” and in the next email again “no” as per the management.
But no chance to talk or contact this “management”

My husband, kids, and I came for a weeklong visit during the Thanksgiving holiday and had the best time ever. This was the friendliest and most accomodating resort staff on the other side of the Pacific. My family and I have always spent our winters in Maui until we decided to visit the Philippines in 2019, and it sure was the best decision for more than half the cost of Hawaii. Highly recommended and a great experience for all of us. And… the food was fantastic!

Lovely location even in rainy season. Plenty to do around the island. Staff were really friendly and helpful, food was great, pool was colder than the sea though! they rent bikes, do tours. Will happily return again!

Great rooms, wonderful setting, helpful staff. If you are looking for comfort that is a long way from everything else, this is the place. The food was mediocre. My lamb tasted old and breakfast we're not great. Order the seafood. That was good. They offer an American breakfast that really is not very good. Hash browns are a frozen round half dollar sized deep fried thing. Ask for crispy bacon or it will not be crispy. I was disappointed by the food, buy the ambiance was exceptional. Oh, the TV is tough to use. It takes 2 remotes to make it work.

A very quiet place which is far from the sound pollution of the city. They do have outdoor activities like ATV riding. My only concern is the phone reception (or any reception for that matter) it's basically non-existent, but that's expected for a place so far away from "civilization".

It’s way too far from town. Everything is over priced, including the Island hopping, which you can do via a non hotel package for 1/4 the price. Wi-Fi sucks, it’s only in the lobby and is slow as hell. There’s no sandy beach to swim in. They ought to at least offer a free shuttle to and from the airport. Matinloc resort is the way to go.

The staff is top notch. The best resort I have stayed at in the Philippines to date. You feel like a king or queen when stating here.

Visited with a group of other dive shop owners from NZ as part of an educational trip to the Philippines. Busuanga Bay Lodge is a lovely bit of luxury in a beautiful, restful location. Beautiful accommodation, airconditioned and spacious with lots of lovely touches — bed turn down at night and lovely sweet treats left out. Food was delicious and plentiful. We dived a number of wrecks in beautiful locations. The diving was fantastic with plenty to see and huge variety of marine life. Our "off gas" afternoon on South Cay Island was a brilliant way to finish our stay. Beautiful lunch and cocktails with lovely snorkel. Highly recommend this lodge for a really special stay in the Philippines.

I sadly have to leave 2 stars on here. So I will mention the good points first: Great pool with great views, spacious rooms with AC, very nice staff Down sides: Rooms are very noisy and you can ear your neighbor’s TV, chatting…, and if you are on 1 level rooms like us you will ear the steps, moving of your neighbors. Wifi doesn’t really work. The hotel is far from anything which it could be a good thing or a bad thing… To get to Coron city it will take you 50mn and you will have to pay 1000 pesos/person one way (2 people to have dinner 2 hours time and 4000 pesos). You will have to eat your 3 meals there and food is average to bad. There is no beach and if you would like to go for a swim on the sea, it’s full of rocks and the water is dark (but clean). From the room to the food to the transfer everything is very expensive and on my taste over priced. On all the prices you have to add 12% on service and 12% on taxes… so 24% on top of the bill. On a lower note the hotel has a poorly taste on design (besides the pool) Hope this help to future customers on their choices!

Little slice of paradise. Beautifully located. Service attentive and staff warm and well mannered. Rooms clean and spacious. Especially loved the personalised touch. Excellent spa and water activities on offer. Would come back without a doubt.

Prior to staying at Busuanga Bay Lodge, we had stayed at another resort and enjoyed excellent service and had a great friendly atmosphere. It could not have been any more different at BBL. BBL is overpriced, cold, and exudes a kind of pseudo-professionalism. Here's an example: They were late 2 hours checking us in but in the meantime they wouldn't give us Wi-Fi access because we weren't officially checked in yet. Wifi which, mind you, was dreadfully slow. If you're a traveling couple it'd probably be okay but not so good with kids. Oh yeah, there isn't really a beach. If you want to go to one, you'd have to go on one of their paid tours. What's great about BBL: The scuba diving staff. Extremely knowledgeable, friendly, professional, and no BS. Mark runs the place very well and his rates are transparent and reasonable. We went diving with Jenny Flores and it was hands down one of the best wreck dives my wife and I had gone on. BBL's location is within a short boat trip away which makes it ideal for scuba divers.

Staff are good, service attitude is good, but that's all. Known as the Beach Hotel, can not be launched on the beach, very expensive at their own expense, 4 days 3 nights can only be spent in a hotel room or swimming pool, compared with other resorts, is too much.

Great hotel, very friendly and helpful staff. Negative experience was the extremely slow internet, which was basically unusable.

If you had one choice to pick a vacation spot in your entire life this should be the place it was the best place I found in 50 years if you have a bucket list this should be number 1 on it.

This resort was the place i've been looking for for 40 years it's beyond exceptional and if you ever want a true vacation you need to go to this place the only thing I would change is take the sea plane which delivers you right to the pier it's about a hundred bucks more then the regular price of waiting on the airline and traveling that xx dollar charge the staff are exceptional the menu is excellent and the activities are boundless this place will not fail you it has now become my regular yearly vacation destination.

Value for money is not good. Do not expect 5 star service as in some of the 5 star chain hotels.

Fabulous Resort cared for in every comfort, from which, with a 30-minute boat ride, you reach the dream private beach through one of the natural shows that only the Palawan area can give away.

We had one of the best days of our lives at Busuanga Bay Lodge. The place where the resort is situated is magical because of the view, and the resort itself is really super luxurious! Besides this, the most fantastic thing is the staff, they really tried their best to give us the best holiday ever with their personal but professional approach. From the minute we arrived, till the sad moment we had to go home again, they spoiled us. The breakfast and the dinner was tasty with good meat and seafood. The excursions arranged by the resort helped create memories we will never forgot, and always will cherish for the rest of our lives. Thank you BBL for making our first experience in the Philippines the best we could have had.

Busuanga Bay Lodge or BBL is almost an hour away from the Busuanga airport. The distance from the main highway is about 1km. You're practically at the middle nowhere. Cell signal is almost nonexistent. Wi-Fi signal is erratic. You know what? That makes the experience all the more excellent. The place is practically breathtaking. Situated near the bay, you will have a relaxing view of blue skies, hills, and calm waters. They don't recommend people taking a bath in the beach because of jellyfish and stonefish. However, you can kayak around the bay or even bathe in the pool. Of course, if you really want to go to the beach there's the South Cay island for that. It is a private sandbar. For a reasonable price, BBL offers transfers to and from South Cay. Included in the package is lunch and unlimited drinks as well as usage of equipment (kayaks, snorkeling equipment, and beach games paraphernalia). The staff members are very polite and helpful. They always take the extra mile to make you feel welcome. The rooms and facilities are well-maintained. The food was good. There are two restaurants there. One catering to the Filipino taste and another one catering to the Western taste. The selections were a bit limited though. The only downside to this place? It is a bit expensive. But then, if you're there for a vacation, you'll definitely feel rested after.

This place is close to 5 stars rating and all the staff working there deserve the best review. Everybody is so extra nice, polite, humble, and they do everything for you. I give them many thanks for making our stay so good. I really hope they get rewarded and good care from the owner. Without them working there this place would be a lot less. Even the many gardeners working on that property got my attention, they smiled back to me and I am happy to support that place for them.
From the minute you get to Busuanga the details make it special for you. The tours they offer are pricy but well worth it. You get the attention and the best times.
The bar is great with good drinks and food. We had fun! I wish the menu at Busuanga would have a more local, authentic filipino food. A trip to town to experience the real Coron life is a must but this hotel punishes you for it: they charge an outrageous price for a trip to town: 25$ one way per person! So if you want to go to town and come back it's really a rip-off. I am still so upset about it. We were four going one night to Coron and we all still talk about paying that transportation. Really, I can't find an explanation that could justify this price other then marking your clients your prisoners. We paid our freedom to go to town and got the flavor of real Coron and I strongly believe that the beautiful cage of Busuanga lodge is not enough to keep you there the whole trip in Coron.

Well it is a Beautiful hotel resort nesting on the edge of the ocean bay what a beautiful view and secluded surroundings The keyword is secluded it is one hour away from anything and it cost you $50 per person per way to travel all the tours are at least $100-$200 per person this is a beautiful location but you are in a tourist trap if you're looking for any activities outside with the hotel has the offer you're not in luck you're stuck one hour away from civilization if you're looking for a secluded elegant resort this is your location if you're looking for something you can negotiate with go to coran city but it will certainly be crowded and not the private experience which the bay lodge would be.

Being back after a wonderful trip from this beautiful place is sad because my family and I (all 7 of us) just keep crying about missing this place! Not only Coron being one of the most beautiful place in the world but BBL with its modern clean accommodations and friendly helpful staff make's us cry for more! … So we plan on going back with all the kiddies next year! BBL, get ready for us! We plan to book your Flight & Stay package and there will be more of us! :) Food: All the tour food we had in all our excursions were very very good! The only worse meals we've had was in the restaurant. The bar food was even better than the restaurant! Sorry BBL, but that's the only negative thing I can say about this place. Everything else pretty much masked the quality of the restaurants food! : (

The place is quiet and entertaining at the same time. The food is good and servings is big. Staff is also accomodating. Place is clean and secured.

The hotel is situated on a private island! Nice infinity pool and amazing view of Coron.

Great (remote) location with a beautiful view. The rooms are spacious and well equipped. The staff was very friendly and attentive to all our requests. Good selection of Board games for the kids for the rainy days. Kayaks and paddle boards are conveniently available as part of the room rent. However the food does not meet the expectations for such a place (oily, heavy, tasteless), strangely the food served during excursions was way better (grilled fish, rice salad and such). They should stick to this kind of cuisine or get proper training. As you are captive, no other option for dining and paying such amount of money for "average food" is a bit disappointing.
One thing also I would have like mentioned clearly on the website is the fact that the sand beach is 45mn away by boat from the resort and with additional cost (70$ 10am to 4pm access+food+free flow of drinks).
Not really recommended with children even if they are really nice with the kids, it is more a couple's place rather than a family place. Our 3 children did enjoy their stay as we did 2 excursions.

It's a perfect place to relax and enjoy. The food is great, thanks to its Dutch chef, Roeland Zondag and his Filipino team. But the price is also great, haha. The resort management lead by Mr Thomas Mayer is very efficient in their jobs and very hospitable and helpful to their guests.

Great place, staff even better, everything here top shelf. I have read people's reviews saying its expensive, maybe thats true but the quality and service here are unmatched. I would definitely recommend bbl to anyone looking for a fun yet relaxing getaway.

Very rude management. I went there to visit the place to see if I like to book there and was denied entry. Instead, the guard gave me a flyer. I told him that I didn't come all the way in such a remote place just to get a flyer but he told me that he only follows the strict policy of the management. Go to Al Faro just on the other side instead. It has much better views anyway and contrary to the BBL management, the owner is very friendly and welcoming. Plus the food is delicious.

Enjoyed my stay so much, will definitely come back again! Perfect place to relax and the food unlike anything else in the same area.
