Cerca Hotel

I booked 3 nights on Agoda. The hotel is very confusing to find as it requires going down one of two dark alleys to reach, there were no signs directing you where to go. We were an hour early so they allowed us to leave our luggage but made us leave until after 2pm. When we returned we were escorted to a room on the ground floor that was half the size of the rooms pictured. There was no balcony, not even a window, felt like a prison cell. Very plain and had a special smell. They had construction going on in the hallway which caused my wife to trip and fall due to uneven flooring. Once checked in we were given a set of rules which stated we couldn't have food in the room of any kind. The room was not as advertised and was very unsatisfactory. I have no idea how this place got a 4.5 rating, it has to be fake. I immediately went and booked another hotel and checked out. I carried the key to the front desk and told the employee we were leaving to go to another hotel. She blankly stated, "Ok, " and went back to what she was doing. Worst hotel experience I've ever had!

Other people must be getting paid for their reviews, as my experience was not the same.
I bought the cheaper room, as I'm generally a person who just needs a bed and shower. The room I got was on the 2nd floor, was clean, but smelled overwhelmingly like an extremely powerful cleaner (almost like moth balls). I tried spraying some cologne into the AC to help kill the smell. Could not get rid of it.
I tried to sleep for a few hours (1500-1700) and it was incredibly noisy — the room lacked any real sound-proofing. The whole time I could smell the cleaner and hear whatever noise was happening outside the door, on the first floor, the neighboring building.
I decided to put on some headphones, which helped. I also considered a mask to sleep in, but after three hours of being at this hotel, I decided to find another hotel. I had only booked two non-refundable days, so losing that wasn't going to break me.
I ended up at another hotel that was 150% more, but 500% better.
If you are traveling to Boracay for a romantic getaway or you flew across the Earth for your dream vacation, avoid this hotel.
The staff was fine. Nothing remarkable, but they were nice.
The location was down a dark alley and took some effort to find at first. It is close to the beach though.
Rooms are garbage.

The location is perfect because the hotel is near the beach. The people who work there were also very good at their job, approachable and nice. They made sure we were taken care of.

I recently stayed at Cerca Hotel in Boracay and overall had a good experience. The best thing about this place is definitely the location – it’s just a short walk to White Beach and D’Mall, so everything you need (food, shops, activities) is very accessible.
The room was simple but clean, with working air-conditioning and comfortable enough for a budget stay. The staff were friendly and accommodating, always ready to help with requests, which I really appreciated.

I had a great stay at the hotel. The room had a relaxing ambiance, I slept really well—even though I usually have trouble sleeping during the day because I work the night shift because it was quiet and comfortable. The bathroom was spotless and well-maintained. I also loved that it’s just a 5-minute walk to the beach, making it very convenient and budget-friendly for families and couples.
The staff were friendly and attentive, always cleaning the hallways to keep them dry and safe for guests coming from the beach. I also appreciate the active security team. One night, we accidentally left our key in the door, and the roaming security quickly retrieved it—thank you for keeping us safe.

The staffs are great. They are very friendly and accommodating. The room is nice is has a small veranda. The best part is it is only a few steps from the beach.

The hotel is very beautiful and extremely clean. The staff are very respectful and polite, especially Joyce and Rhoda who made our stay wonderful.

Accomodating and friendly staff. They gave us a room on the ground floor since my wife is pregnant. There is a hot shower. Also, they provided towels and umbrellas in case you need one. They also have a hot/cold water dispenser.
We experienced a 3-day blackout during our stay but the hotel provided a generator. We will definitely consider staying here again on our next Boracay trip. 😊
I think it will be perfect if there will have an easier road access and a microwave oven but overall, everything is great for its price especially if you are looking for a hotel near the beach. 😊

I stayed at Cerca Hotel twice this year during our stay in Boracay.
On our first stay, we are at ground floor and there were no windows available. Good thing they have netflix (just on the ground floor)
On our second stay, our room is located at 3rd floor but with windows. There was no netflix available as advertised in Agoda. The aircon’s switch is defective, and the duty on front desk was a trainee without someone who could supervise her.
The location is good. It’s a basic hotel if on a budget. Would recommend Cerca Hotel to people looking for budget hotels in Boracay near Dmall.

Good location near the beach. Budget friendly stay, barado lng ang sa shower. If you are on a budget travel good na sya.

You're gonna get what you paid for. Not the best hotel experience and not the worst. The rooms are hardly sound proof. Still, if your on a budget, it's a solid enough choice.

Its a very basic hotel. Its nice being near the beach, but its a long walk to carry your luggage through sand. Theres no amentities, its just a room. Our bathroom always smelled bad. They need to offer something: but no options for housekeeping, swim supplies, breakfast. : (they were nice to let us borrow umbrella during rain storm.

Good budget hotel. Clean, with working water heater. Location is near the beachfront.

Room was big enough, but the bed itself is a little bit small for 2 person.
The staff was friendly.
Location is just near the whitebeach less than 100meter walk.
