The place is beautiful, clean and very esthetic! But what makes this place even more appealing are the staff! They are the most accommodating staff we have encountered! Will definitely book here for 5i50 Bohol 2026!

My fiancé and I recently stayed at this hotel. It’s a beautiful and peaceful place, and we really loved our room it was clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. However, the service wasn’t as good as we expected. Staff were polite, but not very responsive or attentive. Overall, it’s a lovely spot with great potential, but the service could definitely be improved. ❤️

Such a great place! Family owned and operated and they really make you feel like family. Great breakfast (and dinner — we had it at the hotel twice! ) Mango shakes to die for. Clean rooms, enter by sliding glass doors so easy to get in and out. Pool was refreshing and right in front of our door. We got to participate in the birthday party of the owners and that was a highlight of our trip!

Me and my partner have stayed a few times already 😊 why? Because everything here feels so homey, he likes it so much, he likes how the toilet looks like, the beds are really comfortable, you get what you paid for, their pool is cute, they have a lot of flying stuffs though 😁 but they have mosquito screens in all the rooms. They also cook. They have motorcycle Rentals for 400 pesos per day or for 24 hours. The last time, the owner guy even sent us to the airport for free. The owners are really generous. They even support the local community, sponsored the local beauty pageant during their town fiesta. 🪅

This small boutique hotel, with only ten rooms was delightful. It has only been opened just under two years, so everything is very clean and fresh. The owners have put a lot of thought into the rooms, which are contemporary and modern with everything you would need. The bed was very comfortable and the white bed linen and towels were high quality. The food was good and saves you having to wander out after a busy day. It is in a quiet area away from all the hustle and bustle, which suited us perfectly. If you want to move around you will need to rent a scooter or book a Trike. This hotel is not far from the airport and they offer an airport shuttle. So it's ideal if your arriving and want to chill for a couple of days or as we did, book it for a couple of nights before flying out. The owners were very friendly and helpful as were all the staff. Highly recommended.

This was one of the BIG surprises of our vacation in the Philippines so far… Expedia offered a really low priced deal for a roundtrip to Bohol from Clark Airport and three nights at the Thistle Inn… while it was initially difficult to arrange a tour around the island of Bohol (but we took care of that on our own right after our arrival flight) the stay at the hotel, the room, the food were all excellent. That much that we did not feel like leaving the hotel after the first (tour) day… the pool is very clean, the grounds are kept meticuclously clean and Sarah and Erica took great care of us. Bummer on the pick-up and tour schedule but that's forgiven. One hint, if you'd want to get around a but more I would recommend renting a scooter as stores, entertainment and the beach are a bit further away. Highly recommended.

It is a fantastic hotel with lovely rooms and really good service. It is in a quiet area but close to beaches and they can order tricycles or taxis and help with tours or car rentals. There is a pool in the garden. Very happy with this place.

We really enjoyed our stay in Thistle Inn. The staff were accommodating and nice. Shout out to Sarah and Shibo for doing the extra mile. Thank you also for the warm welcome from the owners. It's a home away from home. I highly recommend this very cool and clean hotel to stay while you're enjoying the beauty of Bohol. Two thumbs up!

If your stay is brief, transportation to the resort and then returning to the boat pier is limited to whatever is passing by on the remote area street.
I highly recommend a scooter rental directly outside the pier security gate for freedom, and efficiency if your schedule is tight.

Staffs are kind, just the location is way too remote. Also the food is a bit expensive there. Overall, it’s a nice place but has a few thing to be improved.

I found my room to be very comfortable. Everything was functioning well, Wi-Fi was fast. Food is a bit pricey, but it is as expected in areas like Panglao. The hotel itself was nice but the location is quite far from everything. There's really nothing within walking distance and you are going to need private transportation. Hailing a trike is not easy either. You will have to ask the hotel reception for assistance. We had a bit of a misunderstanding with the trike driver. The receptionist told me the fare to Alona was xxx amount, but the driver insisted on a much higher fare. Other than that, there were no other negative experiences from my stay there.

The facilities (pool area) are nice, however, we had mold in our room and the smell was very strong. On our last day, I asked for a bottle of water to brush our teeth but the manager refused because I was checking out in the morning and I had to insist. Also, they tried to charge me 2, 000 pesos as a deposit, however, the hotel doesn’t have it as terms and conditions on Agoda.

The hotel is new and nice itself. The bedding is good, TV has smart features so you can do YouTube etc. Pool is lovely. On the other side MOST of the staff are rude and have attitude. Breakfast is also overpriced 2-3 times.
The bath sink was also 90% clogged. So the water was draining too slowly. Easy fix. Hopefully they will do it.

Nothing negative to say at all.
The most comfortable bed in the Philippines haha.
Food was very good, not « cheap » but not expensive either.
Cocktail was great.
Swimming pool was super clean and nice.
Staff are super helpful and work really hard.
12/10 stay here in Panglao.

As many of the reviews have said this place is quite literally faultless. The rooms are great, the pool is great, the maintenance and attention to detail is perfect. Well above it's price band. The room was taken care of every day and the linen changed numerous times during our stay. The garden is loving cared for and makes a great relaxing spot in the evening. We really loved staying here! The family and staff are brilliant.
