Review of South Palms Resort Panglao 4*

We stayed at South Palms Panglao Resort last month and the place is undeniably a paradise. The beach is my favourite. I have been travelling back to Bohol, tried a lot of resorts in Panglao and I must say they have the best beach so far! Well-maintained and not too crowded as the Alona beach. They are located at the peaceful area of Panglao and it’s perfect for those looking for a quiet place to unwind. Our room was clean and near the beach. Staffs were very helpful and hospi…table which is a ++. Pool is small and ordinary but if you’re at a resort with a beach like this, why would you use the pool? They also have a bar near the main pool and the barman is very accommodating. The restaurant serves variety of dishes and we enjoyed every bite! Breakfast is the best! At night time, they have different performers to serenade you during dinner. The bands during our first two nights were very good and very entertaining. I will give a 4-star rating because of the band during our last night—the band with 2 girl singers (I forgot the name of the band, it was like Moon or Sunlight band? ) —their voices were not pleasing to ears and made us cringe while eating, left us not enjoying the food on our plate. They sounded like they were in a competition—IT WAS BAD, really. As a person from the music industry, the entertainment for dinner should be just relaxed and lounge — — definitely not a singing competition. All in all, still a great experience and would definitely book this resort again in the future.
