I am now renting here in Acacia Sunset for a couple of months now. They have a very good room which is so affordable and a very accommodating staff as well. The owner is so friendly which is I really love cause they never treat me like a guest but as a family. And if ever you need anything or a small problem in your room you can talk to them easily and they will help you to solve it.

It's a nice place. Friendly staff and a kind friendly owner. Very affordable and you can enjoy your stay in Acacia with there swimming pool which is clean also.

We rented the small private house for almost a year. Josephine lied about everything. She said the internet was fast. After we moved in we learned the internet account had been shut down for non-payment for almost a year. She said the water pressure was great and the CR had hot water. The water pressure was horrible and the hot water heater didn't work. The water was from the barangay and it was so salty it corroded or rusted everything metal. Josephine did not want a lease contract because she didn't want to commit to paying for any repairs. She refused to pay for anything or even take a percentage out of the rent over several months. We finally had to buy a new pressure tank to get our water heater to work and when we asked to be reimbursed she told us we had to move out. The whole house was falling apart and she said it was fine before we moved in. That we caused everything by using too much electricity! That doesn't even make sense. Other tenants said she threatened to kick them out for using the AC too much but she advertises her rooms with AC. Josephine constantly asked for early rent payment because she was behind on all her bills. We know this because we got her utility bills by accident and they all had cutoff notices. The whole experience was a nightmare that is now finally over, for us anyway. We would never recommend Acacia Sunset Village to anyone. Not even my worst enemy. 😡

Do not waste your time contacting them. You'll waste your reserved money, they are very unhelpful, will NOT communicate with you or give updates, or instructions once they're done getting your reservation money. If you want a hassle free vacation, STAY AWAY from this business. You're welcome!

Don't judge the place from how it looks from the outside. The place is very nice. Both the owner and her staff is very service minded. The price is very good. My visit lasted a little more than 3 weeks.

Fantastic place — one of our favourite places to stay from our 3 month trip. Very chilled, family run place with relaxed atmosphere. Although the staff don’t speak a lot of English they are friendly and helpful. The kids that live there were so sweet and chatty. There are friendly dogs and two adorable baby goats that live in the front yard. The pool is clean and refreshing. Our was room really spacious with a great balcony. The fan worked fine and we were cool enough every evening. We rented a bike from the hotel (cheapest rental in the area! ) and it took 5 mins drive to get to main area on Alona Beach. Highly recommended.

The hotel is secluded not close to the beach in Daorong, Danao. Transfer Airport was not carried out. Condition of the plant run down with a dingy impression. Rooms are cleaned only every three days and only if you complain. The pictures are far worse than seen in the booking portals. Very bad slow Wi-Fi. For breakfast, unfortunately, only eggs every day. Friendly staff. You can rent motorcycles here for 400. Won't come back here.

Accommodation:cable TV also a lie, but can also be neglected with the miniature TV. Furniture as a whole is especially true for beds, usually no working Wi-Fi, very audible, i. E. Avoid basement. The photos that can be found in travel portals must have been taken an eternity ago. Water in shower/wash basin salty. 3. Organization: Transfer from airport/port organized by owner 3x as expensive (1500 instead of normal 500php) than with regular taxi and then pick up more than an hour late.
Owner (husband of owner) has died, everything seems unstructured. 4. Long-term tenant: Austrian pensioner couple criticizes every guest who does not meet your demands for lifestyle and their extreme resting demands and bring Stasi and police feeling into the object. 5. Cleanliness: Room cleaning only at the request of every third, at best every other day, kitchen studio better not book, sifted and not functional 6. Breakfast better not book, eggs and nothing but eggs, not even jam. Good: water and instant coffee free, stuff partly very friendly, nice dogs and cats in the object. Who plans to stay there longer, better book first a day or two and then decide for themselves. I had booked more than two weeks in advance (due to positive recessions in travel portals) and was very unhappy and dissatisfied.

Nice. If you want more privy to then this place is good for you:) :) although the Alona beach is quite that far one of the staff offered us a free ride back and forth. Food is also great :) :) if I'm going back to panglao. I'll book here again:) :)

Good rooms, nice little pool and decent breakfast. The free shuttle to alona beach was a life saver.

Nice staff and owner. Unfortunately there were many problems… Wi-Fi didn't work, lizards on the wall in our room, and during a breakfast so many dogs around you… Breakfast area, swimming pool — messy, random decorations. I really advise owner to get rid of most of the stuff to make it more clear. The closest beach Danao — ugly and dirty. If you want to get to Alona beach you have to hire scooter or other transport…
