It was a pleasant stay, quiet and lovely atmosphere.
I loved big pool and the view.
Room is big but could be furnished more.

Only are at the restaurant with a large party! Were I only rating the food, I would have given it a 1. Out of 30 of us, 2 people enjoyed the food. Would never return to eat there again. However, the staff were spot on. They are kind, courteous, and very attentive to our needs. The ambiance was beautiful. We first day in a large gazebo area, overlooking the gardens. We then went to another gazebo area, overlooking the beach, BEAUTIFUL! It's a shame they don't put more emphasis on their food…

The facilities and compound are nice, but show their age already.
The room was fine. The food was below average and overpriced. The buffet for New Year was loughably bad, but ist 3500 php per person. The staff were friendly and forthcoming. Check-in took long. All in all, the resort should drop prices by half, otherwise it is not worth it.

Harold, the cart driver, went above and beyond in providing excellent service. He cheerfully and politely transported us from our room to the guard house, even during nighttime. His dedication and positive attitude truly stood out—he deserves recognition and, perhaps, a well-deserved raise.
The staff were equally accommodating, always greeting us warmly whenever we encountered them. The place itself is a haven for nature lovers like me, offering a perfect blend of serenity and natural beauty. Kudos to the entire team for creating such a welcoming and enjoyable experienced.

Excellent service upon arrival starting with Biol at the airport to transport us via Mithi van, that was clean, with cool AC and friendly guide Biol.
Front desk was great and very polite.
**NOTE: Terrible delayed responses prior to arrival via Messenger, Viber, SMS. If you improve this part it would be much appreciated.
Villa 1208 was great, nice view and spacious and comfortable bed and pillows.
Bellman Nap, Glen were the best and very timely in giving us a ride throughout the resort.
Restaurant crew was very good, timely service and attentive staff.
Iced latte was superb! Potato chips was awesome!

If you travel bohol, you should stay at this resort. I also recommend swimming pool and secret beach. Restaurants food is very delicious. Breakfast and dinner is very good.

I really wanted to like this place and I looked past a lot of things, but I don’t want other people to get ripped off. We booked a weekend package deal here, still overpriced for the resort, but it was a special occasion so we booked anyways. It included a couples massage at the spa and 2000peso credit at the restaurant. Upon check out, the front desk tried to charge us for these inclusions and tried to change the package deal, even though we had a booking letter from the hotel. They said for the restaurant, the credit only applies to certain items (even though the restaurant staff said we can order anything) and that the spa treatment THEY booked for us was actually not included and we had to pay extra. It all felt very shady and like none of the front desk staff knew how to handle it, so it took over an hour to check out. The only positive about this resort is the beach access, but know that there’s only water during high tide until 11am so after that it’s all just mud. Also like many others have said, the food is really bad and there is nothing nearby. The resort and spa is really rundown, so I wouldn’t pay for any expensive rooms or added experiences (the cave is not worth it). The staff are very sweet and friendly but the management is so terrible.

Great hospitality and very courteous staff. They greeted us with entrance drinks and necklaces. At first looks from the outside, the resort looks stunning with aesthetic kubo-like houses with 2 pools (one is an infinity pool), a cave (! ) with a pool you can swim in, a spa, a gym, and a stunning view of the beach. Rooms are equally great as it looks from the outside. The food is 10/10 as well, and the pool bar served exquisite cocktails and liquor. The prices are worth the food and drinks. Also worth mentioning, is how prompt the transport service is. 10/10 experience.

Stayed in the seaview villa, our experience has been amazing! I’m the type to really dig on to other reviews and I was really in between when I saw the bad reviews. But honestly when I came there it was all gone, they picked us up on time, their transport was complimentary and check in was smooth. The seaview villa is amazing! A lot of complimentary food and drinks inside. The place itself is nice and quiet, exactly what we were after! The private cave they have was really nice too, don’t need to go to hinagdangan cave anymore. The beach is small and intimate but really well maintained and clean.

Small slice of heaven on an already heavenly island. Gracious and efficient service, simple and clean amenities, broad food menu with consistently delicious items, a breathtaking view from all sides, a good assortment of activities (surprisingly more budget friendly than smaller hotels/lodges), and peacefully quiet area especially at night. 2 nights were simply not enough. The cave on the resort grounds was a nice surprise. Crystal clear water and the perfect cool temperature for swimming. The bar and restaurant were immaculate and nothing we had was bad. Happy hour was a plus as you could order drinks nearly anywhere on the grounds. The gym is a bit lacking as it's only equipped with some treadmills, a rusty cable machine, and a few dumbbells. Lastly, something has to be said about the spa, specifically the massage options. My wife and I booked the signature massage in the evening. We got a selection of scented to choose from which were all lovely. Then we laid down on the massage tables… not the best experience. The attendants clearly didn't read the instructions given. My attendant used excessive pressure and my wife's attendant was almost null and void. She described her experience as, "It felt like she was falling asleep while administering the massage at times and woke up half way through. " Mine caused lasting soreness in my legs from too much pressure. The AC was on full blast as well.

This was a gem of a resort at a fraction of the price of the other 4-5 star hotels in Bohol. I will only stay here moving forward. The cave and the band that plays for guests during dinner are the highlights! But do note that both of the resorts pools are salt-water pools (if you care about that kind of stuff)

We really enjoyed our stay here. The resort has stunning view of the ocean. The pool is sea water and very warm.
The food is also very good. The service is generally good, staff are helpful, but there was one minor problem with housekeeping: one night — only 2 big towels for 3 of us, no middle-size towels, no towel for drying feet; 2nd night — only one set of shampoo/conditioner/shower gel for all 3.
The spa is value for money.
Breakfast is good; fresh and varied.
Note: the private beach is not for swimming.

Affordable prices, huge servings, decent presentation. The crew was so cordial (and funny, too). We waited for 15 minutes.

Probably one of the best island massages I’ve received ever. It was surprisingly budget-friendly, too. Hot towels and tea included.

Overall I’m afraid we were very underwhelmed and ended up moving out after 2 nights even though we’d paid for 6! Which says it all. Atmosphere was rather flat especially the bar.
Only 13 seats round pool and nearly all under a tree, and you had to ask for towels and mattresses from reception who seemed we’d asked. Second pool v good but no help or service.
Only one restaurant, which was good but no where near good enough for twice a day for 6 days. 4 man guitar group were great and raised a low atmosphere.
Massage was excellent.
Rooms recently done and in good condition but rest of hotel very tired and in need of a lot of updating.
There is nothing near it so if you want to eat out it’s a 25minute taxi.
Sorry to be so negative (which my reviews rarely are) but it was very disappointing.

I was really excited about this hotel when we booked. The one thing I’ll say that’s positive is that it’s a BEAUTIFUL setting. Pool overlooking the ocean which is very serene.
However, I’d rate this place 3 stars at best (maybe even 2 stars). The resort is extremely run down, probably hasn’t been updated since it’s opening 25 years ago…. The food is almost inedible — I ordered pasta one night and couldn’t eat it. The rooms are very nondescript, just cement huts with very little charm. And the pool chairs are extremely uncomfortable — might I suggest the resort adds some cushions to them. The photos on the website don’t really describe the reality. If the resort put some effort into sprucing the place up (and getting a new chef) the hotel could be really amazing. Has a lot of potential, just not there right now.
