Isla hayahay is a place of tranquility and relaxation,, nice sea view good ambiance,, well oriented staff and the manager was so good,, they explain very well on what your asking about the resort,, good job!

No… because its a very substandard materials. Their using very cheap materials and yet they're room rates are very higher specially Family Room. One bad experienced that we had was we're paying the room too much and only 2 pax allowed to stay in the room. How could you define Family room that only two people are allowed to stay.? maybe the Department of Trade and Industry must look into it specially the Bureau of Internal Revenue. They are asking too much. And no Official Receipt was given.

I will not and will never recommend this place to anybody particularly, the local tourists. During our stay, when we were eating, the guy (foreigner) who act as the manager, approached us and we were asked to pay for the accommodation right away, so rude! He didn't even consider the fact that the place was being recommended by his friends who are apparently, living near the place. We've learned that he's not really the manager but the boyfriend of the manager! Air — conditioners didn't even work. A lot of mosquitoes were eventually inside our room. Family suite was worth 3, 200 pesos and it was good for two people only! You need to pay an additional 500 per person, so my question is … how can you call it a family suite when it is only intended for two people? The total payment for the accommodation was worth 28, 800. Then, we paid a total of 4, 050 for the ff damaged items; 1 towel = 800.00
1 shower head = 1, 250.00
1 pitcher with a glass = 600.00
1 electric fan = 1, 400.00 The shower head was already broken when we used it nevertheless, we were asked to pay for it. We didn't really argue with him, we just paid the whole amount then, we left. The resort's name is "Isla Hayahay" how ironic! it was not that relaxing because of what we had experienced. So to the management, all I can say is… good luck!

Staff are all welcoming, very helpful and cater to even most unusual request — they helped me with the “tawa-tawa” leaves, a home remedy for possible dengue symptoms.

For locals, I strongly not recommend especially when its about family trip, they were strict in NUMBER of persons in the room, insensitive for the TIME of check in, as to say check in time 2pm, my family was already in the resort around 11am, settled in a room past 3pm! disappointing, ONLINE booking is no USED as its likely DECEIVING.

Love this place. Room and staff and owners are the best. Very nice pool and great access to the ocean. Fresh brewed coffee and fantastic menu items. We attended a surprise birthday celebration but once we were here decided to stay and I am very happy we did. We will be back and bring the in laws next time. ❤❤

My wife and I just spent four wonderful days at Isla Hayahay. The management, led by Corinne Mischler and Robert, plus all the wonderful, friendly extremely attentive local staff, including Ate Maribel, were all wonderful and truly hospitable. The place is far from the crazy tourist area that is Panglao, where all the major resorts are. This small resort offers quiet and serenity, with a great oceanfront with easy access to coral reefs and tidal pools, nice views of the sunset and sunrise, clean and comfortable AC rooms, great food and bar, a nice pool, outdoor massage gazebo, beautiful trees and a great deck overlooking the sea, perfect for all our meals. The staff readily arranged for a day tour to see the major sights around North and Central Bohol as well as a day trip of island hopping. Highly, highly recommended, and we look froward to coming back again. Thanks to everyone who made our stay so great! ’

Great escape. Staff are lovely. Food was good. It is isolated so plan accordingly. Staff can arrange trips and transfers.

24 hours service, we came here 1am then no one opens for the gate. NiCe.

A really quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Staff is very attentive and always friendly. Clean and comfortable rooms. Air conditioning in the room helps you get a comfortable sleep. Restaurant has a large great variety of great food and everything was delicious. Good size portions and reasonable price. Pool is very clean and well maintained. This resort is smaller, but is an overall enjoyable experience.

It's a resort that has truly maximized its very limited space. The landscape, design, and interiors are not that bad. The rooms are affordable and very spacious. No Wi-Fi in the rooms. I didn't see waste segregated bins in the premises. And although the waters fronting the resort are clear, almost void of plastic trash, and have significant number of marine life existence, the entire property/resort is too close for comfort. I am not particularly sure what is the exact measurement that is required for every resort to distance itself away from the sea, but this one though just looks exceedingly close.

Small quite resort, they have a nice pool and restaurant. The food is really good. The rooms are spacius and clean little dated but they are under improvnent. The bed is great.

Im happy that the resort is not so far from us. Very relaxing and pleasing place. Very conducive to those who are nature lovers. I do like also the from them. positive place indeed!

The bungalows are very well equipped comfortable spacious, quality bedding.
Very friendly staff.
Only downside to my liking the coastline would need to be cleaned regularly, example an old boat with the name of the hotel and left to abandon and starts to fall apart that spoils a little picture of the postcard!
Great value for money with less than €40 per night breakfast included!

We stayed 2 weeks at Isla Hayahay on Pangangan Island, a beautiful place to spend your holidays. The restaurant is directly next to the swimming pool and is offering a huge choice of dishes for all different tastes. The dishes are well prepared and really delicious. The employees are all very helpful, you don’t see them all the time but they are always there when you need them or you have some special wishes. The landscape is very nice with a lot of flowers and plants, there are many sunbeds, tables and chairs in sunny or shady areas to choose from. There are even two small bamboo huts where you can sit and spend some time. The swimming pool is cleaned several times a day. In the evening there is a beautiful lighting in the whole resort which makes a great atmosphere. We stayed in the Loft over the restaurant. It is a very nice, big room with a big and new bathroom and a very comfortable king size bed. We can recommend this resort at any time. We wanted to thank the whole team for the good time we had and we will be back there in the future.

This one of best kept secrets of the Philippines. Truly a delightful full experience with real true nature of the Philippines. Great staff and ver affordable.

Peaceful, quiet and very relaxing place. Our ferry got to the island at 4:30 am, so we were very early for our check in. Gi Ging was very accepting of us getting there at 6:30 am and made us feel very welcome. She actually brought us fresh brewed coffee out on the pool deck. Tin is a very hard worker and did a great job answering our questions and serving us during our stay. This is not a place to enjoy the beach, it is a place to experience tranquility and the best of nature. Walking in about 18 inches of water, we discovered hermit crabs, amazing shells, and one day counted over 25 beautiful starfish. This is a great place to experience.

Food is good but still a lot to improve.

Loved it I went there with my wife and daughter. The staff was extremely friendly and they have a lovely pool. Plan on going back soon.

Indeed a lovely Place. Relaxing and staff are very friendly. Foods are great and they also have a restaurant which offers delicious foods. Country side tour that they organized is just amazing!
