We had a great stay at Junjal’s! The owners are so welcoming and accommodating, they cooked amazing food and showed us the sunset from the chocolate hills.
The garden is very peaceful too. Really enjoyed our stay here! Thank you both 😌

It was such an amazing time here at Junjal’s! The owners are so lovely, helpful and really nice people. You can get there from the bus station in Tagbilaran very easily with the Bus — the bus stops directly in front of the Charles. If you have any questions the owners are there for you and help you with everything. After we arrived we got really delicious and fresh prepared food, it’s cheap and sooo good! They have also vegetarian food! The Junjal’s backpacker is located next to the chocolate hills, you get many secret and exciting tips for the plan of your vacation here. You can rent a scooter and drive around bohol. The experience here was such a 10/10! I’ll recommend it and if I come to the Philippines again, I’ll will visit Maria and Junjal again!

Incredible experience to get away from tourists. This hostel is located in the heart of the island which makes exploring the attractions very easy.
You will gain a deep appreciation for life in a small village but you will be greeted everywhere with kindness and a smile. Definitely do the sunset tour. There is a bit of "roughing it" involved but the spectacular sights, location and incredibly generous hosts well make up for it.
