The room is very basic but it is sufficient and it was clean. You get a bed, a nightstand, another small shelf and a washroom with a shower, toilet and sink. No AC, but I had a fan which was more than enough for me. The location is about a 15-20 minute walk into the town, or you can take a mototaxi there for 3 soles. It is safe to walk there, even at night but be aware of the cars and trucks. Norma and Manuel are super friendly and approachable, it was a pleasure to spend time with them even with my very limited Spanish. Manuel even gave me some of the delicious mondonguito he was cooking over a fire. The dogs are very sweet as well! The beach area is amazing. Very tranquil and I basically had a little slice of the beach all to myself. They have hammocks you can tie up on their waterfront area. The sunsets here are incredible. If you can lower your expectations, get over the very basic room and are willing to be a bit further away from the convenience of the town, then this is a great getaway from your busy life at a gorgeous beach for a very fair price. This was exactly what I was looking for. A no frills place in a gorgeous place where I could relax every day and watch the sunsets. I was here in May which is the slower season. Apparently it can get busy in December and the atmosphere is totally different with the common areas full of other guests and families! It would be much more lively and fun. In my case it was extremely chill and peaceful.
