All very clean and its staff quite attentive, especially the waiter who arrived has attended us at breakfast time, I hope very soon to return to its facilities.

I checked in and paid 100 soles per night, I was charged 200 soles for 2 nights, then I stayed an extra day and they changed it to dollars and tried to claim the real price is in dollars. They are thieves trying to charge a stupid American tax. Even booking online is 150 soles, do not stay here, this place will rob you and try to take advantage of you if they think you are a stupid tourist. I will never stay again.

El bar del Hotel esta muy bien implementado y decorado; nada que envidiarle a un bar a nivel internacional. Buena variedad en la carta de piqueos y cocteles. Si estas en Tacna recomendable probar el Tacna Sour, referido por muchos como mejor que el clásico Pisco Sour. La atención es buena y el local no suele llenarse. Ideal para pasar una noche tranquila en buena compañía.

Buen lugar para hospedarse. La atención es de primera y en cuando a la comida tiene gran variedad que además es deliciosa. Los precios son razonables por lo que ofrecen de igual forma con relación a los precios para la deliciosa comida que ofrecen. El personal es muy atento y servicial; siempre están atentos a las posibles necesidades de sus clientes. Cuenta con una amplia cochera y además muy segura.

Everything here is alright. Not too of the line but it's good. The food is great and not Americanized which is nice to eat differently besides waffles and bacon. Even the mediocre internet speeds are alright. The issues which drop my rating from 5 to 3stars are (1) no microwave. You can't bring outside food and reheat it. (2) the small toilet seats. How can the seats be smaller than the bowl itself. Do you use shoes smaller than your feet? No, of course not. So why buy tiny seats the fall inside the toilet bowl? Makes no sense.

solution we came 11 people we had leased 4 rooms and for problems of force majeure we only arrived five people only occupying 2 rooms we were charged the 4 making at the check in blind eye to our situation never saw the other rooms sending emial and by the hotel zero help, zero humanity. I understand that they should charge a commission but not the total of 4 rooms… That we didn't see less of a occupation.

Pleasant stay. Gentle and kind treatment of all his workers. Good breakfast buffet. Comfortable, well-groomed rooms have air conditioning that allows for a better rest condition.
Small pool and only two elevators for a Hotel that is always on top.
Despite the latter, the Hotel is completely recommended.

Overall the Nice hotel, Queen size beds, nice pool, there is a sauna and area design. You just need to train your staff better in customer service. More than anything restaurant is the problem, I had to wait 45 minutes to be catered for, but they gave me a ceviche. Another downside is the internet, even though they did it for free, it's a basic sign.

Casa Andina is clean, the staff is friendly and you should be mostly satisfied with your visit. The bad things are: 1) the free Wi-Fi for my four days there was 0.14Mbs download speed and 0.12 Mbs up… I used to have dial-up back in the 90's faster 2) The "high speed" option to purchase for 26 soles for 24 hours is a blazing 3.2Mbs download and 3.8Mbs upload. Not so high speed but I did stream a very low res movie on it. 3) Breakfast. Where to start. It's horrible. Powdered runny eggs, old sponges masquerading as pancakes, french fries?! for breakfast? come on. No orange juice, milk was watered down, bread was old and hard, no bacon, no waffles, just no. They really need to address their breakfast. For such a nice hotel, the breakfast is very sub-par. All this being said, I saw the other hotel offerings in Tacna and it's probably one of the three best. If you can get past the breakfast and WifI issues, its a nice place.

Absolutely terrible experience. Was traveling on business with major deadlines to meet and hotel had no internet. Staff were unable to handle issues and were unable to offer a refund. Ended up leaving hotel and staying elsewhere. This is my second time at this hotel — and both times there were major issues. I will not be staying here again.
