Residencial Brest Amazon Tarapoto

Do not book Amazon Brest.
They stole some personal belongings and now they do not take responsibility for it, even though the staff intentionally left the door and window of our room open while we were out.
The facility is dirty and dilapidated.
Stains on the walls, paint stains, dirt on the floor.
Poor bathrooms, used furniture, rusty refrigerators. A disaster!
Right after cleaning, if you pass another towel, the floor is just as dirty as before.
During our stay they started construction work, after we had already paid for a week, with jackhammers and an insane amount of noise every day (7 hours x 7 days a week) without even notifying their customers.
Impossible to rest at any time of the day!
Mud, concrete and sand everywhere at every our of the day.
They did not even give us a discount for the inconvenience caused, even though we were there for almost a month.
They also did not compensate us for our losses.
Over $200 worth of audio equipment lost.
When we confronted them they made us feel guilty instead of making up for their inadequacy and ineptitude.
Why?
Because they don't care about their guests.
They don't even have security cameras on the floors where the rooms are located.
Cameras are only to protect themselves.
Anyone could walk into the rooms without any problem.
That's exactly how they stole our stuff.
The housekeeping staff is moody and rude.
Honestly don't trust them because we believe they are also involved in this theft.

We only stayed here for one night, but are very happy with the service. Nice people and a beautiful roof terrace. We could leave our bags here for a few days. The room was clean and had airconditioning.
