Sol Plaza Hotel

Sol Plaza Hotel in Puno is centrally located, close to everything in town. The room was comfortable and clean, and the bed was nice. The only downside was the bathroom: the bathtub shower is very outdated, and you can only access the shower from one corner of the tub, which isn’t very convenient—this part really needs an update. Otherwise, everything else was fine. It’s also a perfect base for tours to the Uros Islands. If you’re looking for a hotel in the city center, this is a good choice.

We loved our stay at the Sol Plaza Hotel! An excellent location just metres from the main square and Lima Street, with clean, comfortable rooms, a wonderful breakfast and helpful staff. Most importantly… we had left something valuable in the room upon departure, and before we’d even noticed it missing, we received a message from hotel staff saying they’d found something that belonged to us. They went above and beyond to take this item to the bus station to have it securely sent to us in Cusco right away. We much appreciated the kindness, honesty and professionalism. Thank you very much!

Puno is a town full of kind and friendly people, and this hotel was the perfect place to stay, with a great price and convenient location to rest. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were always helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was very good, with fresh options that made the mornings even better. Overall, an excellent choice to enjoy Puno and feel at home.

Not a bad place, but maybe better options. Nice location though. A little loud and couldn't get it dark in the room. But they store luggage and breakfast was fine.

We liked it for our three days in Puno. It is just down towards the port from the Plaza de Armas/Cathedral. No, it's not fancy nor is their breakfast spread fancy. But both worked for us. We liked the very central location and everything else was fine. I recommend it.

Amazing location right next to the main square. We expected something really basic for the price (we needed a hotel for only 12 hours) but were pleasantly surprised by the large size of the room and the bathroom. The beds were very comfortable as well. The breakfast was a small spread but it was alright.

Nice little hotel in Puno. Not far from the main plaza and shopping/eating street. Can recommend this place. Our family stayed and were pleased with its location, safety, and the service of the hotel. The Wifi was ok, and the beds were comfortable. They had private bathrooms and the price was good.

Great hotel in Puno Peru. I love the location. Next to the Puno plaza where you can find tons of places to eat, get a drink, or shop. Hotel staff is super friendly, always greeting you when you come in or leave. Rooms are really comfortable.

We had a pleasant stay here, the hotel is very central, just 10 meters from the main square! Ideal for the excursions and tours pick up.

Rooms were very clean. The step open garbage can is not user friendly for the bathroom for tossing toilet paper. Buffet breakfast was decent. Lots of fresh fruit and bread.

Bright, spacious, clean, elevator available, warm room even without switching heater on, hot shower available, big bathtub available, netflix accessibility, comfortable super king sized bed, prime location in the plaza, prompt and friendly reception service with good breakfast. Value for money — will definitely recommend!

Staff was amazing! All of the staff was accommodating to any of our needs and always there to help. We extended our stay to enjoy the festival and we're so glad we did. The room stewardess did great keeping our room clean and tidy. Breakfast had all the essentials. Breakfast staff kept everything stocked and we're always friendly. Front desk were professional and friendly. We enjoyed our stay.

This is a lovely little boutique hotel that is less than a 100 meters from the Plaza de Armas and Cathedral. The rooms were comfortable and quiet. They provided a space heater for the chilly night. The Stagg was very friendly and the breakfast was nice with some selections of bread, fruit, scrambled eggs and sausage, cereal, and of course coffee and tea selections. They offer coca tea too for those arriving at altitude.
