Titicaca Ecolodge Perú

Titicaca Lodge was one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had. Julio is so kind and welcoming and was able to accommodate our departure and arrival times, even when we had to leave early in the morning. He showed us round the Uros islands and told us lots about their community. The lodge and the rooms are beautiful and incredibly comfortable. The food was also delicious. We were able to go kayaking on the lake and watch the sunrise and sunset from the room. We would highly recommend Titicaca lodge to anyone.

We spent three nights in the lodge of Julio and Jhuliana and had the most wonderful time. Die to the lovely weather we could enjoy the outside terraces, everything is tasteful and well thought through. Perfect hosts, excellent food — thank you so much!

We spent three wonderful nights in the beautiful lodge of Julio and Jhuliana. They are extraordinary hosts, the rooms are big, comfortable, tastefully furnished, with heating and all amenities you need.
Jhuliana is a great cook and Julio explained life on the islands and the history of the Uros with lots of interesting details. Thank you for an unforgettable stay.

I cannot say enough amazing things about Julio and his incredible property. The pride and love that Julio has for his heritage, his Uros community, and his gorgeous property were one of the highlights of trip. We learned so much from him about the history of the floating islands and the Uros community in general, and he treated us like family. Not to mention the breath taking views from the room we stayed in (we stayed in one of the sky domes).
An experience like this is once in a lifetime, and we were so grateful to Julio for sharing it with us.
*also, every single meal was delicious! His wife is an amazing cook!

Our experience at Julio’s lodge was one of a kind. From the moment we stepped foot on his boat, Julio was very caring and just an extremely kind soul. It’s inspiring to hear his story about how he built his lodge all by himself with his wife. He is extremely passionate about what he does, which is noticeable in the attention to detail and design he put into the rooms. The sunsets from the rooms are magical.
A big thank you also to his wife for cooking one of the best meals we have had so far on our trip! Overall, it was a once in a lifetime experiences and definitely a honeymoon location. To be recommended 100%!

This was one of our highlights of our Peru trip. We had 2 nights in 2 spectacular rooms, were picked up and dropped off by the owner Julius. We took a private tour (organized by Julius) to Taquile Island (not much more expensive than group tour). Food great. Clean. One of only 2 lodges with flushing (! ) toilets on the floating islands. Enjoyed Paddle boarding! We wished, we had booked more time.

At a loss for words to describe how wonderful this place is. Staying at the Titicaca lodge was by far one of the highlights of our trip to Peru. To say that Julio is a great host is a major understatement… he is one of the rare people in the world that knows how to make any experience magical. Welcoming, humble, and gracious, we are truly glad to have been able to meet him.
Staying here is the best of both worlds between a homestay and a luxury hotel. Julio explained the history of the islands, how his community works and the challenges he and his neighbours are facing. It was a much more real and authentic experience than the tour we took to some of the other Uros islands.
We are so happy to have experienced this magical place and were very sad to leave. My advice: skip Puno completely and stay at Julio's for at least 2 nights — you won't regret it. Muchas gracias Julio, and please thank your wife again for all of the amazing food!

The Titicaca Lodge is truly magical. It was a an experience like no other with gorgeous views of the Andean Mountains reflected in the tranquility of Lake Titicaca, breathtaking sunsets and more stars than I have ever seen, we could even see the glow of the Milky Way.
Julio took us on an unforgettable sunset cruise on a local reed boat. He also made sure the fireplace in our room was lit and our beds were warm with water bottles before retiring for the night. Also, His wife is an amazing cook and meals were really tasty.
This was a truly unique experience and one that should not be missed if you visit Peru.

We had such a wonderful experience at Titicaca Lodge Peru, and would highly recommend staying here. This island and its views are stunningly beautiful, and offered such a unique and memorable experience. The room we stayed in was extremely spacious, clean, well-furnished, and had every amenity we might possibly need despite being located on an island, not to mention the incredible views and immediate access to the lake. Julio was an extremely kind, attentive, and hospitable host, and really made such a difference in ensuring that we had an exceptional stay. He arranged and in many cases provided all of our transportation from Puno, to his floating island, to the Juliaca airport which was very convenient. Julio is extremely knowledgeable about the interesting history of the Uros islands, its people, and the surrounding area, and told lots of captivating stories to share that information and culture with us. The food prepared by Julio and his family was delicious and there was so much of it that we did not go hungry for a moment during our stay. Julio was even generous enough to allow us a very late check-out so that we did not have to endure an unnecessarily long wait at the airport prior to our flight. We are so grateful for the fantastic experience we had staying on this island. We would highly recommend staying at Titicaca Lodge Peru with Julio and his family — we are confident you will have a wonderful time!

The personalized experience, private location, and quaint island provides a peaceful and relaxing getaway from the mainland. There are only 4 rooms on the island and they are beautifully maintained and well kept. Each has its own design and unique features. We had the panoramic view of lake Titicaca. The beautiful sunrise and sunsets from the room doesn’t get any better than this place. Julio goes out of his way to make his guests feel right at home and treats you like his family. With your stay, you are able to go kayaking, take a ride on Julio’s Reed boat, and go paddle boarding. Ye provided us a wealth of historical knowledge about the lake and his families roots. There is a heater in the room, but bring warm clothes as the temperature drops in the middle of the night. Julio is prompt to responding to any questions or situations that may arise. We had an emergency during our stay, and Julio went above and beyond to assist us and talked us through a scary time. We will definitely be back! Thank you again for this amazing stay!
