We booked this place based on a recommendation from a Peru travellers Facebook group. Wonderful stay with a local family! Not only did they send someone to pick us up at the bus station (included in the rate), but we got a 2 hour tour of the islands and a nice dinner made by our friendly host family. The patriarch of the family, and our English speaking guide was Juan. He did more than show us the sights, but taught us about the fascinating lives of people living on these floating islands. The tour does have its moments where you are sort of cornered and pressured into buying souvenirs at seriously inflated prices, which was a bit uncomfortable, but we understand their livelihood is limited in these islands so of course we spent some money with them. Be sure to bring local cash. The accommodation itself was comfortable, lots of blankets and very peacefulatmosphere. One night is enough to feel the experience.

Felix is an amazing host!
We stayed here for one night. The accommodation on Lake Titcaca was clean and comfortable with amazing views. The use of kayaks is a bonus.
Felix arranged a taxi to pick us up when the bus arrived at 5.30 am to take us to the dock where he was waiting to take us to the accommodation. Arrival was beautiful as the sun was just rising. Felix spent the morning giving us a tour around the lake and sharing information about the history and the community. Following day, Felix arranged a trip to Taquile island and our transfer back to the mainland.
If you are looking to experience a relaxing stay on Lake Titicaca then I would highly recommend Felix as your host.

Location great. Pretty dirt cheap for the value of the rooms (we had a double) you're getting. Decent place to rest your head for a night or two. Free breakfast is dry bread and one slice of ham and no butter. Or dry bread and one egg and no butter. Or dry bread and one slice of cheese and no butter. I'm not joking. Don't book this place thinking it's a bargain because it's got free breakfast. Not quite a cold shower but far from warm. Very quiet.
