COZY HOSTEL PUNO Hostel

Pretty good place. Beds okay. Breakfast okay. Staff nice. Not a place people stay for long though… at least thats how it seemed to me.

They close the common area at 10:30 PM, put together a skimpy breakfast, overcharge for the local tours, and only by an act of god provide tp. All these cities and towns on the altiplano have buildings built out of hollow bricks. In an earthquake zone.

Very good, the staff is very friendly and helpful.

Comfy bed, nice breakfast, hot water, clean, decent Wi-Fi, friendly staff. Hard to fault a hostel like this. I particularly like that the room was all single beds, no top bunks!

They stood us up on already made reservation without any notice! Even though it was confirmed 3 days ago and furthermore the same day we wrote another e-mail to confirm we are coming, they waited that we arrive and tell us they don't have anything free. Very unprofessional!

Comfy hostel with heater in the room which makes a difference. Friendly staff and grand breakfast in the morning. We booked the titicaca bolivia bus with them for S30. This includes S25 bus ticket and S5 each for the taxi, we only paid S5 for both of us in the taxi the day before, but I suppose for convenience and 50cent it's worth having the taxi called for you.

We have visited the Lucky Your House hostel before and when we booked the Cozy Hostel we didn't realize it was the same hostel. I don't understand how the same venue can have 2 different names and 2 different reviews. Anyhow, our stay was ok, the breakfast was quite poor, the kitchen not so clean and neither the rooms. The staff was very friendly.

We arrived in Puno feeling slightly ill and this really was the perfect place for that. The hostel aptly named Cozy, was just that! They have a huge TV that they welcome you to use, this includes hundreds of films and Netflix (all included) The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, even offering you eggs for breakfast and ensuring everything is perfect along the way. Breakfast is reasonably verified, with cheese, ham, juice, yogurt and sugar puffs (and more). The beds in the dorms are unbelievably comfy with plenty of blankets to keep ridiculously warm through the cold weather. The only issue is the showers were cold but that's too be expected getting closer and closer to Bolivia. Overall, loved the place, it felt so homely.

It really was cozy. The staff cooked breakfast and didn't mind us loitering in the lobby until 9 pm for a bus, and this was after checking out at noon.

I stayed for 2 nights in June 2017. First impressions are that the hostel is a bit odd and could do with an update, but it is actually pretty good. The room was up 3 flights of stairs, which can be pretty tiring with the altitude! Good showers, lockers for valuables, Netflix available in the common area, a decent kitchen and eggs for breakfast makes a comfortable stay.

A great backpackers hostel, the attention is super good, the people are super friendly, the rooms are comfortable and the common areas very nice … it has Wi-Fi, computers, even Netflix … the most.

It's really central, close to plaza del armas. Breakfast is a bit early but good and the beds where great.

Excellent attention from the staff, good location and centrally located. The service tours very good.

The best you can not stop going, the attention, the food, the tours, everything excellent!
