I had a terrible experience over the weekend. Beside a really loud club that plays music until 3am… mosquitos and bugs in the room, I got at least 20 bites. No where to socialize in the evening because the bugs were out. No one around during the day. I wondered why it was so quiet and realized why after the terrible night there.

The place is a disgusting abuse of the travellers in need, doing voluntary work for up to 6 hours a day, a full day of work without pay, you should give them shame. The slaveholders of the 21st century.

Not a good hostel to stay in. Rooms are hot with no fans and full of mosquitoes. Noise from the bar and the bar next door until 4am. Unprofessional staff, walking into the bathroom without knocking while you’re in there. Also letting new people go into dorms at 5am waking everyone else up (8 hours before check in). The power keeps going out at least once a night for long periods so no fan (If you’re lucky enough to get one in the first place). Would not recommend if you’re looking for a chill vibe. Also breakfast is horrible.
