Loki Mancora Hotel

Went here for lunch/brunch on Christmas Day. The worst meal I have had in South America by so far! Not only did we literally need to go and collect the server because they didn’t come to us for about 20 mins. They then walked away mid-taking the order multiple times. Forgot my drink entirely.
I then about 45 minutes later (bearing in mind we were the only people there) they brought out the burger. Looked like it had been left out for 30 mins. The meat was as hard as a shoe. Chips were cold.
Honestly just sucked. Side note — not saying it was caused by this place but strangely my girlfriend ended up getting ill that night with a bad stomach after eating the chicken wings. So who knows.
Actively avoid this place in my opinion.

We stayed here for 3 nights (Sept 2nd-5th) and were significantly overcharged to what we agreed to with the owner. We were looking for somewhere to stay after the state of our original hotel (Don Giovanni. If you want to read about that dump, I left a review there too! ). We were met by the Irish owner and he was welcoming and understanding. He showed us 3 rooms:
1 for 130 soles.
1 for 170 soles.
1 for 200 soles.
And it would be 20 soles more for breakfast to be included during the stay. We repeatedly asked if this is the price for the full stay (why would we do per night when we’ve already left another hotel and only had 3 nights left? ) and we were told yes it was the total. Not once did we haggle or try change the price. We agreed to 220 for the 3 nights. All goodwill was lost on our check out as 220 was listed 4 times and the owner said the cost was per night. He fabricated a story to say he started at 250 per night then came down and played dumb by saying he’d never do 70 soles a night. Not once was ‘per night’ mentioned or that the total would be 660 soles despite us repeatedly checking if the price was right. On our arrival with our luggage, I repeatedly asked to pay for the room upfront as we had been overcharged repeatedly in Mancora and was told to pay at check out. If you stay here, pay up front. The owner eventually came down in price but we still ended up paying 510 Soles for the room instead of the 220 we agreed too!

Stayed in Loki and had a fantastic & relaxing time. The value for money is amazing.
Stayed in multiple accomodations around town and this was by far the best.
Great pool, back entrance to the beach & all the possible amenities that you need to have a great time.

Loki is a nice place with beautiful green areas, gardens, safety parking with cameras, close to the beach, clean rooms, big swimmingpool, play areas like billiard, ping pong, other, free coffe or tee all day, nice bar with all drinks. I recommend.

Had a fantastic 2 week stay at Loki. The hotel is located right by the beach with direct access and close to the surf camps, bars and restaurants.
The rooms are clean and spacious perfect for a group of friends and families. They have a wide variety of food available that can be ordered at the bar or to your room.
David and the team went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed to have a great stay.
Would recommend to anyone travelling to Máncora 10/10 service!

Nice place to spend as a family, everything very clean and good food, the only unpleasant thing the treatment of the receptionist on day shift hurts I don't have the name. Very despot and sharp to deal with. Then all ok.

The rooms are not entirely suitable and their entrance to the beach is too sloppy. In addition to this, they do not indicate before that there is a surcharge for paying by card and only when one is going to withdraw is where they inform that there is such a surcharge. Terrible attention from the staff who took us to the room, gave us the key to another room and when we entered there were belongings inside it, so anyone can get into the rooms and take personal items, I do not recommend it AT ALL.

Excellent pool, music all day, use of hammocks, attention in the cafeteria and bar, very rich food, they give you courtesy all day of hot drinks, use of Wi-Fi, they keep your bags in the deposit. Spacious rooms, private bathroom and hot water. The staff are very friendly. I suggest that you should improve in cleaning the rooms every day, change your pillows and mattresses as they are worn.

I really recommend it, this hotel is very cheerful, clean and its staff is very friendly, it is well managed. All your staff wear the mask correctly. A good place to make friends.
