La Maison is an absolute gem of a place to stay in Mancora – I loved my stay here and quickly felt at home thanks to Tania’s amazing hospitality; there was nothing that was too much trouble!
The house is just 5 minutes from the best surf school (Pilar Surf School) where I improved my surf over my 5 day stay with thanks to my amazing instructor Coco! I would come back to La Maison in a heartbeat and would love to plan another trip :) can’t recommend enough!

La Maison is such a great place to stay at. Tania is a fantastic host, extremely friendly, helpful and sweet: regardless of the question, she has the perfect answer. All the volunteers and instructors of WildKite are also super friendly and great. The house is a gem with an extraordinary vibe, I would not hesitate to go back.

We had the most amazing stay at La Maison. It was so peaceful and relaxing, and was the perfect place to end our 4 months of travelling. The property is just 5 minutes’ walk from the beach, as well as from great nearby cafes. The fresh breakfast prepared every morning was delicious. We loved having access to a fridge with drinks and freshly baked cookies which worked on an honesty system. The highlight of our stay though was being hosted by Tania, who was so friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for her — she gave us recommendations for restaurants, organised a massage, regularly checked in on us and brought us her homemade cakes! The perfect spot to stay to surf, do yoga, and relax. Beautiful and peaceful common spaces. A five minute walk to the surf school. Breakfasts were a highlight and the perfect time to connect with other guests. The staff will take absolute care of you. They helped us book transport to/from the airport in Tumbes and recommended fantastic restaurants. Special thanks to Tania and Axel!

I had such an incredible stay in la maison! Everything was super clean, very good breakfast and most of all : the best welcome and attention from Tania! Important point : don’t miss out the cake of Tania, it’s simply the best dessert EVER.

A real gem in Máncora — La Maison truly felt like home. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and kindness. Axel, the owner, is a French surfer who’s been living here for 20 years. He’s full of great tips and brings an awesome energy to the place. And Tania, the manager, takes care of every guest with so much attention and kindness — she really makes you feel special.
The location is perfect: just a 2-minute walk from the beach, ideal for surfing, kite surfing, or simply watching the stunning sunsets. We also loved the horseback rides on the beach — they come pick you up with the horse all ready to go. Such a unique experience!
And the breakfasts… wow. Different every day, generous and delicious — the perfect way to start the day.
The vibe is relaxed, the place is full of charm, and the people are amazing. We’ll definitely be back!

This is the best place to stay in Máncora – so warm and welcoming!
I was traveling solo and ended up meeting so many amazing people here. It truly felt like the perfect place to stay in. I’m especially grateful for all of Tatiana’s care and thoughtful recommendations – she really goes above and beyond. Plus, she makes the most delicious cakes… I seriously couldn’t stop eating them!
The place itself is super cozy, 3 min from the surf point. I stayed in the Palma room, had my own hammock, and the bed was really comfortable. Everything is very well maintained, and the vibe is just perfect.

The rooms are so beautiful. I had the chance to stay in two different rooms with private bathrooms, good showers and great interior and exterior with very cozy lights, which I find to be very important, and a sign of good taste ✨
It feels really cozy and silent compared to the rest of the town, very peaceful place indeed.
Everywhere is really clean.
The most fascinating thing about it other than the beautiful rooms is the staff working here. They really make you feel at home, they took very good care of us, responding to all our needs and are exceptionally friendly.
Tanya, who did our check in is an amazing baker as well, really recommend her chocolate cake. After a 3 month long trip, was the perfect place to land to rest.
They offer great breakfast, good coffee (which was pretty important for me hehe)
You’re few mins walk to the beach and very nice restaurants.
Would definitely come back again.

Beautiful Eco house tucked away in a quiet part of town, only a couple minute walk from the beach and town. Incredible service and breakfast, rooms are very clean. Tanya is incredibly lovely, helpful and makes La Maison feel like home.

La Maison is like a nice little island in the busy Mancora. They really try to make the stay as good as possible.

La Maison is an incredible little paradise, tucked away in a little pocket of jungle oasis off of the main road in Mancora. It was the perfect accommodation for my wife and I as we spent five days in Mancora for surfing lessons. We were honestly a bit surprised how comfortable our entire stay was.
Tania and the staff are wonderful. They provide a very good breakfast every morning whenever you are ready, and Tania is super knowledgeable about all the great spots in town to hang out or grab some food. Even the house kitties spent some time in our room making sure we felt at home.
Highly recommend Maison! If we were to return to Mancora in the future, we would have no hesitation about staying here.

I stayed at La Maison for a week of relaxation, surfing and yoga. It was the perfect place to unwind and meet other friendly guests. The staff were friendly and Tanya was so incredibly helpful — giving excellent restaurant recommendations and booking any day trips or activities I was interested in. I would highly recommend La Maison and hope to return one day!

I stayed in Mancora for 5 days and I really enjoyed the calm and cozy La Maison! Especially after 3 weeks of travelling through Peru, it was great to have found a spot in which I can relax, surf and do yoga. Especially the service was outstanding for me. If I ever go to Peru again, I would definitely go there again!

I was traveling alone and was looking forward to a chill place to stay, do yoga and surf. And my expectations were exceeded. The staff is super helpful with activities in Máncora and surrounding or to find the right transportation if needed, and has recommendations for restaurants and cafés etc. (which were perfect for my taste). The room was clean and with a comfortable bed + mosquito net over it.

Come in and feel home.
It's a super cozy place that attracts loads of nice people.
I'm very grateful for my time here.

What can I say about this magical place,
Yes it really is as beautiful as on the pictures, perhaps even more.
The place is a real oasis, 5 minutes walk from the beach it is a quiet hotel with charming personal and nice people around (you can also take kite lessons at the hotel owned kitesurf school wild kite peru! )
I loved every second of my visit and I’m already missing this place:) )

I wouldn’t have choose another place for my stay in Mancora. Everything was absolutely perfect. The house is the perfect combo for the travelers looking for a sustainable and confortable option. The 5’ walk from the surf spot makes this option very suitable for surf trip. Special thanks to Axel, Tanya, Chelita, and Juan who make the stay even more outstanding.
