We spent 6 nights at Kichic and it was a truly special experience. We divided our stay between 3 nights at Casa Kichic — a real gem on the Pacific coast — and 3 nights in the Balance Suite, which felt like a completely private and intimate retreat.
Casa Kichic overlooks the ocean and features a beautiful private deck right above the sand. The Balance Suite, with its own pool and patio, offers total privacy and a very exclusive atmosphere. The hotel is beautifully designed and carefully curated, with a strong sense of style. The staff are polite and kind. Overall, Kichic is a must-stay in the area for travelers with a comfortable budget who are looking for a luxurious and unique experience.
Thank you for everything!
Notes for management:
The reception team could be more proactive, and the limited level of English spoken on site can make things slightly challenging for international guests. The three waiters are all very kind, but more standardized training would help reduce inconsistencies in service quality.
KiCHIC is one of those rare places that makes you wonder if you accidentally wandered into your best friend’s impossibly stylish beach house—one where your friend also happens to be a world-class host with a love for yoga, good food, and tropical gardens.
Set just outside the chaos of Máncora, this boutique hideaway is a true oasis. The whole place feels incredibly intimate, with rooms tucked among lush vegetation so well that you could swear you’re the only person staying there. Our entry-level room was huge, beautifully furnished, and came with both an indoor shower and an outdoor bath/shower setup that made getting clean feel like an adventure.
Around every corner there’s another secluded lounge spot, terrace, or garden nook—perfect for reading, napping, plotting never to leave, etc. The pool has jaw-dropping ocean views and direct access to the beach, making it nearly impossible to decide where to spend the day.
KiCHIC runs two kitchens (vegetarian and fish/meat), and both turn out excellent meals. Breakfast was very good, but the setting made it spectacular. Dinner on two nights was so delicious we briefly considered moving in permanently.
The staff? Fantastic. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely eager to make your stay memorable. Stephanie, in particular, was an exceptional host—warm, welcoming, and the epitome of good hospitality.

This hotel in front of the beach is very nice with their guests (of course they are getting paid for this). But they abuse their influence and close the beach to local people by paying the authorities. The owner is very rude to local people. I stayed there but I do have fiebds there too. And I saw them even stealing their umbrellas and chairs. They are not the owners of the beach. You are the owner of the horel with the nice view that’s it. So now tourist should know there is not a good nor respectful way to the actual people that have lived there for years. Never stay there 2faced people. They shoud be good and kind to everyone.
