Supercute place and beyong delicious vegan Food & Desserts! Loved the Mixed Plate ans the peanut cake.

Quality and taste of the food is super nice, staff is a little bit slow and extra orders are not their specialty, but overall fair prices and really nice food, would come back and eat here for sure!

Great hostel, rooms nice and clean. Kitchen area for guests but there is also a really good restaurant if you want to buy food too. Good social area too for hanging out and meeting other guests and amazing sunsets from the terrace.

Its really chillin. You can volunteer here, the food is really good and also vegan. The hostel is just a few meters of the beach and it has a surf school. It easy to get here. You can take a orange bus that says HUANCHACO in the center of the city. It cost 1.50 soles. If you came from de aerport or city is like 20 min. Its like 30 minutes from the terraport. You just says that you want to go to the Municipalidad de Huanchaco. Everybody here knows where Moksha is. There is a kitchen for you to cook and various aereas to chill. Most people here speak english, so no problem with the lenguage. The volunteer here is for minimum 2 weeks, 6 hours per day, 4 days a week. You gonna attend the bar or help in the kitchen, just simple things, here is someone to clean and for cook so you just gonna help them. Dont wait for a 5 stars hotel. Is cool but still been a hostel. So its no fancy. Stay here if you dont mind share rooms, beach arena everywhere from the surfers and a lot people everywhere, so no much privacy. Also, here animals are the kings, you gonna find cat and dog hairs everywhere because they can sleep anywhere they want and they do it. But never understimate them, they are part of the chill vibe here.

Moksha is not just a Hostel, it is a Home, because after you walk through the door you are welcomed home. Good vibes, great food, friendly souls and a great location. Moksha is Huanchaco's "Piece of Heaven" served with Great Memories.

Changed from another hostel to stay at this place for a longer period of time after I saw the fantastic atmosphere it had. Perfect location, very warm and welcoming owners, awesome guests and good surf crew. The restaurant has a delicious must try sunday brunch! Made my time in Huanchaco unforgettable.

Let me just say the place here is the most unique looking I have seen. I appreciate the gardens the hammocks the vegan food and the staff. Except for the latte, which was just a coffee with a splash of milk (not even foamed). The owner attacked me for calling on the staff at night for having an asthma-like attack, after which I panicked (or like before my body was shutting down from lack of oxygen) because if you can sympathize, not being able to breathe is scary. She compared my respiratory disfunction to her saying “I don’t go around telling people about my 6 marriages, and so we don’t need you here imagining things. We don’t need you wasting our emergency costs in Peru”. Why do you own a hostel then? From your logic, you would also not need visitors coming to Peru eating your food and drinking your water (which is a scarce resource). Accidents happen, and not all medications work properly and people are misdiagnosed. I worked in the pharmaceutical industry and I am aware of medical issues and costs. She refused to listen to my medical situation. If you don’t want to listen to my experience, don’t force me to listen to you yell at me and make assumptions about how everything happened. There are nicer ways of resolving conflicts, and being rude and vindictive doesn’t make you look good as a person. You said “well good luck with your asthma in mancora” and I replied with a genuine “thank you” to which you started to show aggressiveness.

Best hostel in huanchaco. This was first hostel I visited, then I just ended up living there until this day 6 months later. Amazing location, people and great vibes always!

Great vibes, friendly people, good choice of different kinds of food (if you are veggie you will find what you need) and with a nice view! What more do you want?
