The property is also located two blocks from the bus terminal, including the Cruz del Sur terminal, making it very convenient for regional travel. Additionally, its proximity to Jauja Airport is noted, although the immediate area is described as not particularly scenic.

How polite and responsive is the staff at Hostal Berlin?

Most guests rate the service as excellent, highlighting the friendly and welcoming staff, including Walter at the reception desk, who assists with travel recommendations and can even accompany guests on excursions. The staff is courteous even during very late check-ins after midnight. However, there have been some negative experiences: one guest noted that reception staff sometimes take a long time to open the door, leaving visitors waiting outside.

What are the dining and breakfast options at the hotel?

Opinions regarding breakfast are mixed. Some guests mention the availability of breakfast or snacks, noting that breakfast is prepared upon individual request. At the same time, other guests point out that breakfast is not included in the room rate.

What are the room amenities and comfort levels like?

Rooms are described as cozy, clean, and tidy, with some equipped with Smart TVs offering Netflix access and high-speed 5G internet. However, some visitors feel the rooms are too small, accommodating a maximum of two adults or one child. There are also occasional remarks that the furnishings and overall room rates do not fully match the quality provided.

What is the standard of cleanliness in the rooms and common areas?

Reviews on cleanliness are mixed. Many guests praise the hotel for its neatness and cleanliness in both the guest rooms and shared bathrooms. On the other hand, there are complaints that room cleaning is carried out too late in the day, and that the condition of the bed linens and overall hygiene left room for improvement in some instances.

Feedback regarding hot water is mixed. One guest confirmed having hot water, while another reported that the system did not function properly.

How stable is the Wi-Fi connection at the hotel?
