Great pisco tour, 4 tastings & a superb lunch. S/35 for two courses.
I stayed here one night with my family (we booked 3 rooms) and all three had broken showers. The water was either boiling hot or freezing cold no way to get it warm. We had just come from Ica after sandboarding and really needed a shower, but it was impossible. At first we thought it was just one room, but everyone had the same problem, so it’s clearly an issue with the whole hotel. The rooms are very old too. The only good thing was the breakfast, but overall a very disappointing stay.

My overall impression of Fundo Hotel El Arrabal is that the entire operation is built around high-volume daytime tourism—specifically large bus groups moving through for quick, high-throughput pisco tastings. That appears to be the core business model, and everything else feels secondary.
From a service standpoint, the experience was essentially nonexistent. During a three-night stay, I only interacted with staff at check-in and check-out. Multiple attempts to get service at the bar went unanswered, and while sitting at the pool, no one ever came by to offer drinks or food. There was no proactive or reactive service at any point.
Housekeeping was also absent. Our room was never cleaned during the stay. Towels were not replaced, trash was not taken out, and basic items like toilet paper were not replenished.
The room itself had significant comfort issues. The bungalow had two rooms, but air conditioning was only installed in one. It worked briefly when we arrived, then appeared to stop functioning by the evening of the first day, likely due to a refrigerant issue. The second room had only a single desk fan, and neither ceiling fan worked—one of them was missing its blades entirely. The A/C unit itself appeared decades old, with a nonfunctional remote and worn or broken buttons on the unit, leaving us with no way to control it. Nights were uncomfortably hot.
Breakfast was very limited and tightly controlled.
