I think this hotel’s official name is DM Hoteles Mossone — Ica.
From the outside, it really looks lovely with its terracotta-colored walls and the grand courtyard filled with lots of varying trees and flowers, all surrounding a fountain at the center.
The reception area is very simple with just a few souvenir items and local products on sale. There’s only one person at the desk so it took a while to check-in.
Our room was quite a long walk from the entrance but good thing the place and the way to the room looks really beautiful so we took a lot of photos along. The door and window of our room was really interesting — it’s a wooden door that matches the overall theme of the hotel. However, the room itself did not keep up with the excitement the hotel facade created — it was very simple, looks outdated and just really a place to sleep. The toilet and bath is the same — just very basic.
Our stay comes with a free breakfast, served buffet-style in the hotel’s spacious dining area. The food served was basic also — some local bread, eggs, and fruits.
The biggest advantage of this hotel really is its location which is right in front of the lagoon. Just a few steps away and you’re at the deck with a grand view of the waters. There are also several restaurants, bars and stores nearby — all just a a healthy number of steps away from the hotel.
Fabulous for a 3-star — VERY clean. Polite and helpful staff, delicious breakfast, gorgeous OASIS. Would definitely recommend — they have improved greatly since the old bad reviews, truly.

This hotel was perfectly situated in joaquachina Oasis and were then walking distance to the sand, dunes and other amenities. The breakfast was the scent and the rooms were pretty much comfortable. They had air conditioning and screens on the windows which were very helpful.
