Had a great experience at the Belmond with my family for four nights. The grounds are thoughtfully laid out and magnificent. The baby alpacas added a whimsical feel as they roamed the property freely and interacted with guests. The spa and pool were a nice retreat after the days adventutes and service was first rate too. Special thanks to Juan for going the extra mile for us.

Super nice hotel situated by the river in Sacred Valley. The rooms big and airy, with a terrace in the front, overlooking the river and garden, where lamas were wandering around eating grass, and flowers The garden also contains an area where vegetables and herbs are grown. I saw the chef plucking goodies before dinner — YUMMI! The restaurant serves excellent food; healthy, super good and delicate. I highly recommend this hotel.

A few of us visited the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu so we contacted Belmond and the experience was top notch from Ursula who assisted us with the booking to Carlos, our guides and everyone we dealt with in Belmond. The property is beautiful, service was state tube and the food was tasty. The hotel has its own train stop so we got picked up right at the doorstep on our way to Machu Picchu onboard of the Vistadome. The property is right by the Urubamba river, has a spa, heated pool and even their own resident baby alpacas. Since it was winter, we even found hot water bags warming our beds upon returning from dinner. What a nice touch. We were so very lucky to have Carlos as our guide. He was efficient, friendly, knowledgeable and genuinely enjoy what he does.

Superb hotel in lovely location. The staff couldn’t be nicer or more helpful, from the handwritten greeting note from Patricia Pinillos (with pressed flower) to the fact that they were totally switched on about my son’s nut allergy. All the little touches and luxury treatment are just what you need after what is a tiring low oxygen environment for those of us who live at sea level.

Celebrating our anniversary, super friendly staff, we wish we had more time to enjoy this place.

No check-in But here to enjoy lunch, the vast hinterland and next to Urubamba, the mood is greatly happy.

An amazing place to relax, has outdoor pool, sauna, jacuzzi one internal and external, not counting the spa… some massages that leave you feeling gelatine the rooms do not have television (with the view that has not need), but you can Ask them to put one on.
They have a restaurant with amazing food, the breakfast is buffet they have juices, muesli, yogurt, different topins, fruits, biscuits, breads, cold meats, variety of cheeses, different kekeş, some chocolates that are to die… so many things you will want a Bigger stomach and a tapas to carry all the rooms have a direct view to the river, in the nights you sleep lulled by IS sound of this, and in the mornings awakened by the counted of the birds.

Spectacular for anyone who seeks tranquility accompanied by good service, in the midst of nature, on the side of the river Vilcanota, enjoying the facilities of this hotel, no doubt would return.

It is a beautiful place to stay a couple of nights and then go to know Machu Pichu, all the staff is very friendly and the food is delicious.

This is absolutely one of the best places to stay in the Urubamba Valley, not only the amazing landscape, the whole environment: the most gentle staff, outstanding view from the terrace in the rooms and bath, stylish local decoration, very calm and silent, nice spa and outside swimming warm pool, delicious food made with local ingredients… few places can offer all of these together. And feeding the baby alpacas was also one of the best experiences! Thank you for that, although I could not enjoy more days due to a flight cancellation, I would really love to come back!

Nice place with beautiful river view, heated pool and beautiful Spa. You have to go up and down to get around the hotel but it is worth it for the nice views.

The hotel as perfection but being new to the altitude all of the stairs were a bit too much for me. The restaurant service was good but there was a language barrier I hadn't run into in Lima.

The view is awesome. The food is also awesome. You can relax to the sounds of the birds, river, and the gentle breezes.

Everything about this place is amazing. The handwritten note welcoming us was a very special touch. Feeding the baby alpacas and free yoga lessons in the sacred valley was a very special experience. Patricia and her staff all provided us with top quality service. The restaurant food is also top quality. The views are spectacular and listening to the river is very relaxing.

Wonderful hotel located in the heart of Sacred Valley, lower elevation, short trip to different historical sites … are not cheap, but nice option.
