We booked two rooms during our stay. Unfortunately, the first room had a sewage backup issue, so we were relocated. However, the new room had no hot water, which was frustrating. They did fix later on. The second room was in better condition, but the bathroom was extremely cramped — using the toilet comfortably required keeping the door open. Both bathrooms had a lot of mold.
At check-in, our passports were photocopied, which is standard, but we were surprised and concerned to later find that the copies had been reused for signage and other miscellaneous items around the hotel — a serious privacy issue.
Compared to other hotels in the area that offered well-rounded breakfasts, this one was disappointing. The options were limited to cereal and a small selection of fruit. Oddly, while a stack of eggs was visibly displayed at the counter, we were told they weren't available for guests!
Overall, this stay left much to be desired.
Loud, very loud. People walking in and out at all hours of the night. The sound echos into every room. No one in my group of 5 slept. Restrooms are very small, dirty, and there's mold in the restroom and bedroom.

The room and the staff are amazing. We left at 5:00 a. M. To catch our bus to Machu Picchu. Upon our arrival in the lobby, there were two breakfasts to go made for us. Awesome. The wonderful girl who was always there was so friendly and helpful. She also stored our bags all day as our train didn't leave until 8:00 p. M.
