Great location (2 min walk from Plaza de Armas), great staff (they held on to my things all day while I was out and about), and good clean rooms. They even picked me up from the train station and walked me to the hotel so I wouldn't get lost! (It's very close).

Hotel located in the historic part of Cuzco. The exterior appearance is not consistent with the interior. It is worth noting the excellent attention of its staff.

We were very disappointed with our stay. Mold covers many walls and is in the bed linens (see attached photos). At breakfast, a large RAT ran from the kitchen and up a wall near our table. Staff were not awake in the early AM hours and guests would need to yell loudly in the lobby to wake up staff which resulted in everybody waking up. There are far nicer Hostals for the price in Aguas Calientes.

Great location, helpful staff but rooms are quite tiny.

A little hard to find but very nice accommodations. Clean and the staff is very friendly. Definitely recommend staying here.

The pictures looked good, but don't be deceived… I am not a picky person, and have stayed in many types of hotels all over the world. This is THE WORST hotel I have ever stayed in. There was mold on the ceilings of my room, hair in the bathtub/shower, the sink leaked and had an ugly yellow cloth covering part of the base to disguise that there was a hole there where the tile didn't meet the fixture. The walls in the bathroom were wet to the touch. My sheets had not been changed from the previous guest, and were wrinkled. I found a gum wrapper inbetween the sheets and I don't chew that kind of gum. Breakfast was posted for between 5-8 am. We were up at 5:30. There was not a sign of coffee. We were told to help ourself to the "kitchen", but there was no food except a few dry rolls. The floor was sticky and covered with a film of grease and dirt, with crumbs of food all over it. A good sweep wouldn't help much for the condition of that floor. The counter person disappeared when my group of 11 showed up for breakfast. We had purchased eggs the evening before seeing there wasn't much there. But the group of Chliean rock climbers who came in early that morning were told to help themselves, and they ate all our eggs, so we had to go out and get more, just so there was something to eat, and our pastor did the cooking. The staff never mentioned the eggs were ours. Room service was non-existent. The rails for the staircase were shaky at best. Wi-fi was slow if there at all.

Most disgusting place we have ever stayed. Dirty, Wi-Fi minimal, no hot water, no breakfast. Lots of other, much nicer places to stay. Sheets had not been changed, bathroom gross, mold on ceilings, walls and shower curtain. No staff on duty 2/11/18 am. We bought eggs and bread and made our own breakfast in their kitchen.

Smelly to humidity, unventilated poor attention, expensive and the worst thing is that they had the dirty sheets in two of the three beds even one had blood. A disgusting hotel.

Very poor service, attended by children (who are not guilty) without hot water or TV.

Dirty, from the person who greeted us, very careless in his personal presentation, the entrance or Hall of the disgusting place, to the sheets of the room that we got, full of hairs, with lousy smell. They hadn't changed them. We arrived at this place by hiring a tour to Machu Picchu, it is understood that these packages give you simple places, which is not a problem, but the dirt is the main feature of this place.

Location certainly good strategic close to everything the square of the train station and bus stop and market. Clean enough the staff are not professional or qualified but still friendly, polite and helpful at times, it also depends on how you ask them availability. It is perhaps a little bit noisy but this depends also in part on the education or lack of it of the guests that stay
All in all for the money spent I found it sufficiently comfortable and acceptable there is and I've seen much worse at the stesssa figure in the tourist resorts we are, however, talking about one of the New 7 wonders of the world.

I did not like the attention, nor the room where we stayed.

Nice room and beds. No shampoo, one towel for 2 days. Housekeeping could be improved.

Rooms not clean, toilet only sometimes work, very loud and crowded.

Quiet central location You can practice football, aerobics, the owner is a Kung fu master.

Cozy little hostal to spend the night. Staff is really kind. Room is clean. It doesnt have windows so air can be a little damp but that is pretty much everywhere in Aguas Calientes hostals. Breakfast is basic (eggs, coffee abread and jam) but for lonely travellers I think is just fine.

Nice room, with decent facilities but very unfriendly staff. Not helpfull, short answers if you get one at all and crancky faces all the time.

Do not fulfil online bookings. Not for booking online at short notice. They advertise free rooms online when they are fully booked. Not ok.

We booked a room online, turned up to find that the hotel had no record of any reservation and no rooms available. The hotel made no effort to help us find another room.

To get enough sleep. Very well treated.

An affordable and pleasant place to rest and then climb to Machupichu.

Very good place! The view is nice, the room is small but it serves for what you use a room. The bathroom very well, it was one of the few showers with real hot water of all holidays.
The breakfast very good too, varied and early which is very important. The service of the people who attend, is also very good.
The only criticism is that there are not many plugs to load things.

My friends and I felt very pleased by all the attention we received from the moment we arrived. The hotel has a quietness that makes your break more comfortable. And it is very neat that is what I like most in a hotel Inti Punku Machu Picchu to spend a nice experience.

We went on recommendation from some friends, upon arriving we were greeted very well, we were taken to the room and since then we felt comfortable, the room was spacious and above all clean.

Very good hotel, the location is perfect, the rooms neat, they gave us the best attention, the staff are very respectful and friendly, the quality of the hotel really is good.

We went by recommending friends who were already in the hotel Inti Punku Machu Picchu, but my expectations, good service, safe, especially comfortable rooms to have a good night, delicious food, warm place, be delighted!

Depressing hotel with painted orange walls and bad breakfast. Very small rooms and loud outside, bathroom had a funny smell.

The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Perfect place to stay when you go the day before to Machu Picchu, very clean, cheap and friendly staff.

Best place to stay in at Aguas Calientes.

Its good for sleeping overnight, but the owner is short tempered and egoist, after booking through orbitz we exchanged couple of mail and she confirmed that she will be at railway station to receive, we reached at station and nobody was there, we waited over 30 min and tried to call on given land line number but that was not working — — what to do now?, we were with small kids so situation became little tense, the knowledge of laguage worked overthere, we all speak spanish so we could easily asked few local guys where is that place — — we reached to hotel around 11 am however train reached at 9.

Comfortable and cozy
A step of the line of railway, and close to everything. Apart from breakfast you can ask for tea or water to make something hot for free. The breakfast is from 04:30am. Tomenlo at that time, early in the morning before you go to machu pichu, the row is larguisima and get there early.

The food is delicious, but the cold drinks are expensive.

Great. Renovations were underway in March 2014 when I was there but I don't feel it impeded my stay. I was in a new building so my room was pristine. Very eco. Food was fantastic. Staff gracious. Fun bar after a truly scenic day too. Would return.

A group of 8 (6 hikers and 2 train travellers) stayed here after a day of discovering Machu Pichu. Following 4 days of hiking, the foot massage and facial at the Inkaterra were a superb treat. The staff were friendly and helpful and meals were good quality. I would recommend Inkaterra toall.

A lovely hotel along the river, hidden away from the rest of the tourist traps. The hotel has a private nature reserve, hummingbird feeders, and has rescued spectacled bears. Stunning way to unwind. Not cheap.
