We stayed at Amaru Treehouse for a few nights and truly enjoyed the experience. The hotel is beautifully located in a peaceful, green valley right next to the river, surrounded by impressive mountains and untouched nature. The area feels very authentic and largely undiscovered, with very few tourists, which makes it especially appealing.
This is an excellent base to explore the wider region. There are several interesting places nearby that are well worth visiting, so staying two or three nights is ideal to really appreciate the surroundings.
The hotel itself is small, new, and thoughtfully designed. Rooms are clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with hot water, good showers, and large windows that offer stunning views of the valley and mountains. While the standard is not five-star, everything works as it should and the overall atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming.
The owners and the entire team are exceptional — genuinely kind, friendly, and extremely helpful. Nothing feels like a problem, and they are always ready to assist with arrangements, advice, or local tips. They know the area very well and can help organize activities, including horse riding, which they are particularly passionate about.
Breakfasts are simple but very tasty, and dinners can also be ordered. The food is not meant to be fine dining, but it is well prepared, comforting, and exactly what you want after a day of exploring. Coffee and tea are available throughout the day, which is a nice touch.
Amazing hotel, very new and clean with an amazing view from common areas. The beds and hot shower were great and comfortable, carefully made breakfast. Owner and staff are super friendly and willing to help. We are on a biketrip, and our bikes were no issue. Limited amount of vegetarian/vegan friendly restaurants in the village.
