Great place to stay. Good location, beautiful rooms and friendly staff.

Amazing views from the balcony! On the flip side, the Wi-Fi was pretty much non existent, and the rooms were less accurate than pictured. There’s a lot of options in Cusco, so definitely poke around! Aside from that, the owners were accommodating to our wacky schedules of hiking, and the laundry service was relatively cheap!

This hostal provided a great location for exploring Cusco. We spent three nights here and enjoyed the views and accommodations. The staff was helpful and polite with our broken Spanish. Breakfast was filling and the cook always greeted us with a big Buenos Dias. Rooms were ample and had a safe. We were able to store our extra luggage as well while we took our trip to Machu Picchu. There is a free airport pickup up which was helpful as well. Our driver, Rosa, took her time to go over our plans, make suggestions, and fill in some of the blanks we weren't even aware of. I would definitely recommend staying here.

It is well located two blocks from the Plaza de Armas and the staff is very friendly and willing to advise you.

Though just a few blocks up from the plaza, it's still a bit of a hike, especially if you haven't fully acclimatized to the altitude yet. However, it has great views of the city and offers huge rooms with hot showers, thick blankets and strong Wi-Fi in a well-maintained old casona building with a twisty, interesting layout. The included breakfast is made to order and delightful, served in their dining room with panoramic views… you can see the plaza's cathedral from here.

The best hotel we visited in Cusco. Nice combination of old and modern. The rooms are spacy but still cozy. Everything was clean. Beautiful lookout to historic center of city during breakfast.

Staff is very welcoming, room is quite specious and open, it is in old style but not outdated. Bathroom is very modern. Views from some areas are breathtakingly stunning. And it's very quiet, no traffic noise at all. Hotel itself is close to everything. There is a wall safe There is no kettle.

Very well-located hotel! Only a few blocks from the main plaza. My room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel provided a space heater (much needed for the cold nights in June). Breakfast was great for a hotel in this price range. I had a problem with the shower and they fixed it right away, which was much appreciated. There's also a wonderful view from the common area and the hallway. The one thing to bear in mind is that it is is near the top of a pretty steep hill, which — especially if you're not used to the high altitude — can be pretty grueling. I'd recommend this hotel regardless, as it was a very pleasant stay for a very reasonable price, but be prepared for the uphill hike.

Centre-close but quietly located with a great view over the city from the breakfast room. Building is "Cusco-usual" winded and the rooms are not always easy to reach (stairs up tinto the bore down). Rooms themselves, however, are spacious and also have an additional heating option for the cold-sensitive guests.

I stayed at the Hostal Corihuasi for three and a half weeks while I was in Cusco at the end of March to the middle of April of 2014. This hostal has a unique personality and layout. The personnel was marvelous and very caring. When I was sick for two days they treated me as if I were family. They are all affable and work very hard to make one feel comfortable. This place is anything but impersonal. The staff helps you out in many ways: tours, food delivery, luggage storage and individual safety deposit boxes when you take off for a few days to mention only a few ways. The breakfast is very substantial and tasty. The views of Cusco from many places in the hostal are some of the best available. If you want a low key, comfortable, and yet helpful place to stay, this is it. I highly recommend this hostel.
