The Grasshopper Hostel Hostel

Lousy service, reserves a room, you come and you find out that they gave it to another, to top it off you are sent to another hostel of a worse quality in which the rooms and bathroom are. When you return they gave us a room that nothing to do and cheaper to reserved. Basically not in charge of anything, you claim to be the owner/in charge and ignores you completely.

We spent one night. After we went a few days and returning to our tent was no longer there and no one from the staff knew nothing about it nor have they tried to help us despite the fact that they have cameras. Lousy!

It is very expensive. The staff was careless. We stole a tent in our absence and have not done anything about it.

The best hotel, is quiet, full of people, nice tourists, staff super kind, space to smoke and terrace, super nice bar.

Worst hostel ever. We were 5 people in a dorm, originally we booked for 2 nights but after the first one we runned away. The room was very dirty, they have a restaurant were people speake no Spanish at all and very bad English, and they had not food except for fajita (that we ordered and it wasn't fajita but just a simple sandwich and Monday told us that that had just that kind of brad… so Bucasically a fake manu). In the night there is not hot water, and more than everything for all the night there was not water at all (neither cold — so I don't know how they can have a licence to run an hostel without watar and basic igenic service during the night) and also in this morning there was not hot watar for the shower and 3 of us left without having shower. The lady responsible at the reception was very rude and ignorant whitoit any sense of hospitality. Don't go there, many other option much better in Cusco.

Amazing place with the best care there is, they supported us all the way until outside of the time of our reservation.

On Wednesday ROBON of my room 3 objects while I was hiking and my roommate yesterday almost saw the guy with rasta hair, thin who volunteers opening his loquer and the cleaning woman who was also there got nerve Sa. Talk to the manager and she says she can't distrust them because they work for time. If they're still there, those people will keep stealing. I would never recommend where the guest is not first.

It's good for the price, bed confortable and warm shower but not so privacy on the shower so not so good but the breakfast is better than marjory.

A hostel is avarage not very far from the center of Cuzco. Cheap prices on shared rooms, but it lacks a kitchen.

Excellent location, attention and predisposition of those who work there. The rooms are in very good condition and the beds comfortable. They also offer free activities, tours, hikes. Highly recommended.

Staff people are really nice, always ready to help, but the infrastructure needs some improvements like toilets, electric system. Its location is very good.

Very good place to stay in Cusco you get breakfast every morning, the attention is very good the place clean and tidy also the atmosphere is very quiet, very good shower with hot water considering that it is very cold in January so this we liked the group with The one we went to and those who attended US explained details of the city and Tours to make.

It is really wonderful and nice hostel. Owner and staffs are so kind and helpful. Hot water and Wi-Fi is working very well. Everything is cozy and great. I hight recommend this hostel.

Beautiful place its owners Robert and Shirly very attentive and willing to give you anything, I went on a motorbike and I conseguiguieron to keep it in a neighbor's.

Very nice place and also very good customer service, super friendly. Highly recommended and at a good price.

The dorm downstairs is warm enough (upstairs is really cold) and the bathroom facilities are average. There is hot water and okay Wi-Fi. The breakfast is very basic, just some breads and jam, yoghurt, coffee and tea. There is a bar, but it seems like no one uses it. One great thing is they let us leave our big backpacks here for free when we went to Machu Picchu :) All in all it's what you can expect for the price you pay.

Excellent Hostel. The women who attend the Hostel are very friendly and attentive to your needs. Information about Cusco and places to visit was very timely and useful. The beds are very comfortable and with quilts and blankets to ensure a comfortable evening. It is relatively close to the plaza de armas and very close to the square market San Pedro, a place where we stocked up with fruit and seeds for our stay. The breakfast is good. Prices for shared rooms are excellent given the quality of the service. Site super recommended.

Hot water gets turned off after 10PM. Make sure to shower early.

It was a great place to stay. It was cheap, the location was awesome (the square & other places for the most part were all walking distance), the staff was SUPER FRIENDLY, & are very helpful if you have questions. I personally really enjoyed my experience, and highly recommend it!
